Zechariah 7:13 – “Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the LORD of hosts.” According to history, many events considered disastrous by the Jews have occurred on the Ninth of Av, also called Tish’a B’Av, the saddest day in Jewish history. The date for Tish’a B’Av 2021 is Sunday, July 18, in the Hebrew Year 5781. Tish’a B’Av begins at sunset Saturday, July 17, and ends at sunset Sunday, July 18. Tish’a B’Av is the culmination of a three-week period of increasing mourning that begins with the Fast of the 17th of Tammuz. During this three-week period, the Scroll of Lamentations is read, prayers are recited during the evening services, and the Torah Scroll cabinet (Ark) is covered by black cloth. In some synagogues, the Scroll of Job is read on the morning of Tish’a B’Av. Tish’a B’Av primarily commemorates the destruction of the first and second Temples, both of which were destroyed on the ninth of Av. The first Temple was destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 BC, and the second Temple by the Romans in 70 AD. The First Occurrence

Conclusions Yahweh declared that Tish’a B’Av would be a day of mourning and misfortune. To see these occurrences as simply coincidence would deny His word. Website: https://raptureparty.net Email: [email protected] Why Is There No Peace Between Israel and The Palestinians? – James Sinkinson - https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=4838 Last week, the U.S. State Department criticized Israel for destroying a terrorist's home--an action the State Department said serves to "undercut efforts to advance a negotiated two-state solution." Surely the brutal murder of an innocent 19-year old Israeli man and the wounding of two others--which is what the Palestinian terrorist did--abundantly undercuts the prospects for peace. Surely rewarding that terrorist for his bloody act through the Palestinian Authority's "pay for slay" program undercuts efforts for peace more than the demolition of a terrorist's house. But the State Department's is just one of many false justifications for the failure to attain an Israel-Palestinian peace (let alone a "two-state solution"). To find the real reason, we would best look at the root causes of Palestinian terrorism, which have been baked into Palestinian society for generations. Unfortunately, many mainstream media and world leaders who claim to care about ending the conflict assert that the real obstacles are, variously, Israeli settlements, Israel's "occupation" or Israel's unification of Jerusalem. In truth, none of these issues can be the root cause of the conflict--because the conflict predates each of them. In short, the conflict began because of Palestinian Arab refusal to accept the right of Jews to create a state in their indigenous homeland--a land where no other states existed. This violent Arab rejectionism has been the cause of the conflict and its singular driving force for more than 100 years. The fuel perpetuating Palestinian rejectionism over all these decades is anti-Israel and anti-Semitic incitement--hateful propaganda that at its worst is animated by a cult of death. Almost every facet of Palestinian life has been engaged to spread hateful messages against Jews and Israel--whether through the media, religion, literature, songs, theater, cinema and the public space. Nowhere does this hate permeate Palestinian society more than in its indoctrination of Palestinian children and youth. Recently, the European Parliament passed three resolutions that condemn the P.A. for continuing to teach hate and violence in its school textbooks and that oppose E.U. aid to the P.A. being used for this purpose. German MEP Niclas Herbst of the European People's Party stressed that "paying teachers to teach antisemitism and incitement to violence through Palestinian schoolbooks should never be subsidized by E.U. money." Despite a report attached to the E.U. resolutions laying out numerous examples of how their education system glorifies terror--claiming that Jews are deceptive and dangerous, as well as using the term "Zionist occupation" instead of Israel--the P.A. remains unrepentant. "Everything mentioned in our school textbooks is an accurate and honest description," said P.A. Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh. However, the most egregious indoctrination to violence occurs at summer terrorist camps for Palestinian children. There, youngsters are indoctrinated and prepared in the ways of bloodshed. Already, according to Jerusalem Post correspondent Khaled Abu Toameh, 50,000 children have registered for child-soldier camps run by Hamas. The "training camps" are named after the "Sword of al-Quds battle"--the name Hamas gave to its recent war against Israel. These summer camps provide a convenient pulpit from which Hamas can preach its radical Islamic ideology. Among the topics studied are the "themes" of "the liberation of Palestine" and the destruction of Israel, adherence to the path of jihad ("the culture of the resistance") and the cult of shaheeds ("martyrs"). Not only does this vile practice use and abuse children, but it also answers those who during the recent conflict claimed that any person in Gaza under the age of 18 that was killed during the May conflict was automatically a civilian. A report published by the Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center found that at least one of the 66 children on the list of those killed during the fighting was a 17-year-old member of a terror group. He was, sadly, just another example of terrorists' cynical use of child soldiers, who are recruited chiefly in the Hamas-run summer camps. Such recruitment of children is a violation of international humanitarian law. The images of little children learning to fire weapons, dressed in army fatigues and jumping through hoops of fire and attack tunnels, are a sad indictment of Palestinian society. Rather than create a better future for Palestinian children, this training dooms them--and Israeli children--to a cycle of violence fueled by hatred and incitement. Israel's Foreign Ministry puts it best: "Peace can never reign between Israel and the Palestinians as long as generation after generation of Palestinians are being fed a never-ending diet of anti-Israel incitement." There is a direct correlation between education, violence and terrorism. Whether in P.A. or Hamas schools--and sadly, even schools run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA)--the State of Israel is portrayed as an enemy that has to be destroyed. These "lessons" often descend into open anti-Semitism. Rather than criticizing Israel for defending itself from terrorism, the Biden administration would be more effective in promoting peace if it were to reverse its decision to start re-funding the P.A. (with no preconditions) and UNRWA, whose goal is to prolong the conflict. Indeed, this conflict will not end when negotiations are complete and a document is signed. True peace cannot be achieved solely through signatures on a piece of paper. It must also exist in the hearts and minds of the Palestinian people. Just as Israel has educated its society for peace throughout its history, so too must the Palestinians embrace this process. The United States and the international community must understand that its obsessive focus on side issues like settlements, Jerusalem and demolition of terrorists' houses allows and incentivizes violent Palestinian rejectionism. Only when our leaders and the media level their indignation at the issue of childhood incitement--toward ethnic hate and the cult of death--can we hope to see an end to the conflict. Mounting the Red Horse - By Terry James - https://www.raptureready.com/2021/07/14/mounting-the-red-horse-by-terry-james/ Podcasters, some of whom I respect, but others whom I find alarmists beyond their acumen about geopolitical intrigues, are more and more these days forecasting fears of attacks on America. Many of the assaults they talk about involve cyberspace invasions and the like. But increasingly, the talk is of direct military action—invasion of our nation from the north and the south. Russia, they say, will invade from the north, I suppose in concert with the cooperation of the Canadian government. China, they fear, already has troops in large numbers ready to cross the U.S. southern border. Mexico, I suppose, along with countries farther south, is in collusion in some way with this planned invasion. The enemies most mentioned are Russia and China. We might expect direct military action by as early as the fall, according to the direst warnings the podcasters are predicting. Daily the bloggers talk of the burgeoning military capacity of both of these enemies that voraciously look at the grand prize—the United States of America. Their submarine forces—according to the bloggers—are simply without peer and surround our nation, poised to launch missiles that are hypersonic—whatever that means in terms of diverging in effectiveness from missiles that are already capable of speeds that can’t be defended against. It’s as if American military forces have shrunk to the extent that they make these diabolist aggressors impervious to any fear of being themselves destroyed—like they feared during the Cold War era of MAD (mutually assured destruction). From my reading of prophecy yet future I can say with assurance that war on the scale that would result from such an attack won’t eventuate as these folks forecast. Both of these aggressor-nations are prophetically scheduled to instigate such war, but not at this time—unless the Rapture is immediately upon us in that twinkling-of-an-eye moment we all, as believers, long to take place. Both aggressor nations are destined to be totally decimated when they do instigate such warfare. That said, there are preparations for war on an unfathomable scale being planned by Satan and his minions, both demonic and human, that will make all other wars of history seem mere skirmishes. Again, we have God’s Holy Word on this eventuation. Nuclear—and even more horrific instrumentalities of war-making—are in development. And the preparations for unleashing such instrumentalities are in the scientific/technological incubators of a growing number of nations as they make plans for war that God’s prophetic Word foretells is on the way. An article of interest frames those developments: A Pentagon report secretly published in 2020 and first disclosed this week, raises the potential for some form of armed conflict between nuclear-armed powers. The Pentagon’s “Joint Nuclear Options” report, dated April 17, 2020, was released through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request submitted by the Federation of American Scientists. The report states, “Despite concerted US efforts to reduce the role of nuclear weapons in international affairs and to negotiate reductions in the number of nuclear weapons, since 2010 no potential adversary has reduced either the role of nuclear weapons in its national security strategy or the number of nuclear weapons it fields.” “Rather, they have moved decidedly in the opposite direction,” the report continues. “As a result, there is an increased potential for regional conflicts involving nuclear-armed adversaries in several parts of the world and the potential for adversary nuclear escalation in crisis or conflict.”… The report notes Russia is modernizing Soviet-era nuclear systems and developing and employing new nuclear warheads and launchers, three new intercontinental-range nuclear weapon systems; a hypersonic glide vehicle; a nuclear-armed, nuclear-powered ground-launched cruise missile; and a nuclear-armed, nuclear-powered, undersea autonomous torpedo.… On China, the report states, “China continues to increase the number, capabilities, and protection of its nuclear forces. China has developed a new road-mobile, strategic, intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM); a new multi-warhead version of its DF-5 silo-based ICBM; and its most advanced ballistic missile submarine armed with new submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBMs). It has also announced development of a new nuclear-capable strategic bomber, giving China a nuclear triad.” The Pentagon report states, “North Korea‘s continued pursuit of nuclear weapons capabilities poses the most immediate and dire proliferation threat to international security and stability.”… “Iran’s development of increasingly long-range ballistic missile capabilities, and its aggressive strategy and activities to destabilize neighboring governments, raises questions about its long-term commitment to forgoing nuclear weapons capability,” the Pentagon report adds. (Ryan Morgan, “Pentagon Sees Increased Chances of Nuclear Conflict, Newly Disclosed Report Says,” American Military News, July 8, 2021) As has been stated, no weapon has ever been invented that hasn’t been used to kill in wars. It is obvious that the buildup of weapons of war—ultimate weapons in terms of destructive capacity—is taking place at a pace worthy of the alarmism the podcasters are forewarning. It’s just that their perspective isn’t biblical with their forecasts. Some are partially from the right perspective, that of Bible prophecy. But the forecasters fail to take into account that the Restrainer of evil is still present in this soon-to-be-judged world of corruption and rebellion. God the Holy Spirit is still resident with in each believer–the collective of which is the Church–the Body of Jesus Christ. The most horrific war-making of human history is yet future, and It can’t take place until the Church is removed in the Rapture, and God again begins dealing with the nation Israel and all of humanity in judgment and wrath–a time out of which Israel will emerge, in remnant form, to become the head nation of the world, from which King Jesus will rule and reign. Russia, if it attacked America from the north, would be completely destroyed. China, if attacking from the south, would be completely destroyed. Our Pentagon generals and admirals are not that far diminished in their fealty to duty, honor, and country that they wouldn’t respond with massive retaliation. Russia must be around, prophetically speaking, according to the prophet Ezekiel, to lead the invasion against Israel. This is where God, Himself, will completely destroy that Gog-Magog juggernaut, except for one-sixth of their forces. China must be around to cross the dried-up Euphrates, as prophesied in Revelation chapters 9 and 16. They will, after destroying one-third of the earth’s population with their nuclear weapons and massive hordes of demonically driven military troops, be utterly smashed to bits along with all other war-making peoples on the killing field called Armageddon. The Lord Himself will bring about the destruction of both of these satanic, tyrant-led nations. All of these considerations point to one prophetic truth. War on an unfathomable scale is about to take place. This assurance from God’s own Word is encapsulated in the following prophetic utterance given John the Revelator: And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. (Revelation 6:3) What Do You Hide in the Temple? - Nathele Graham - [email protected] Ezekiel was a prophet of God and he had very active prophetic revelations. Instead of just seeing a vision or hearing the voice of God, Ezekiel became a part of the prophecy. His vision of the dry bones, recorded in Ezekiel chapter 37, is one of the eeriest prophecies in Scripture. We see the dry bones coming together today as we watch the nation of Israel coming together as the Jewish people are returning to their God-given land. It isn’t eerie to see it happening, but is a reason to praise God for giving us prophecy in Scripture so we can understand current events as the fulfill Biblical prophecy. In Ezekiel chapter 8, Ezekiel was in his home and “the elders of Judah” were there. Then he saw a being stand before him “And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy which provoketh to jealousy.” Ezekiel 8:3. Ezekiel saw “an image of jealousy” in the temple grounds. This image was allowed by the priests, those who should have only served God, and God wasn’t pleased with what they allowed in the temple. “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” Exodus 20:3. Anything that’s worshipped in place of God Almighty, or is first in our life, is an abomination. There was more to this vision and Ezekiel was shown more evils. “He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? Even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? But turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.” Ezekiel 8:6. The things he was shown just kept getting worse. He was shown a hole in the wall and told to dig. So, Ezekiel dug until he came to a door and was told to enter. “So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.” Ezekiel 8:10. The things he saw would make my skin crawl, as should any idolatry which is brought into the house of the Lord. He saw elders in the temple who looked pious, but he was shown the chambers of imagery…what went on inside their minds. “Then said unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? For they say, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth.” Ezekiel 8:12. These men put on a public show as upstanding leaders, but in the darkness of their thoughts they didn’t fear God nor honor Him. This is a lesson for us today. The religious leaders had abandoned God because they said He wouldn’t see what they did and they justified their sin by saying God had forsaken the earth. The fact that Ezekiel was shown this abomination is evidence that God was well aware of what was going on and hadn’t forsaken them. They had forsaken God. “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” James 4:8. People seem to think we can sin all we want, and God should bless us anyway. Our world today is wallowing deep in sin, but we still want God’s blessing as we turn farther away from Him. There was more to this vision, but let’s talk about the temple. Are we off the hook for idolatry because there is no temple in Jerusalem? “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.” 1 Corinthians 3:16-17. When you accept Christ for salvation, your sins are forgiven. The Holy Spirit indwells you and, as Paul wrote to the Christians in Corinth, we are now the temple of God. Corinth was a city filled with sin and the abominations of the pagan world were being accepted by the congregation in Corinth. Just as God saw the abominations happening in the temple in Jerusalem, He sees the abominations we try to hide in our own life. It’s easy to justify sin when we ignore God’s word and put other gods before Him. One sin leads to another, and it’s a slippery slope that leads to our downfall. Our sins have been forgiven, but there are still consequences for sin. If you rob a bank, you still need to go to jail. We can usually justify our own sin, but condemn others for theirs. “Who can understand his errors? Cleanse thou me from secret faults. Keep back Thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me. Then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.” Psalm 19:12-14. Presumptuous sins are those of pride. It was pride that caused Satan to fall. He wanted to be like God. When we start hiding sin in the temple that is our body and mind, we can pridefully believe that God won’t see our sin and that He doesn’t really care. God does see and He does care. He cared enough to give His life for our salvation. Be careful what you hide in the temple. Most people can see that the evil in this world has risen to unimaginable levels. Has God forsaken us? No, He hasn’t. Have we forsaken Him? It seems as if we have. Christians keep silent as public schools teach all kinds of sinful ideas of gender choice, racial intolerance, wrong history, and many teachers live in fear that the one true God will be mentioned in a classroom. If you’re a Christian and this is all OK with you, then you have a lot that you’re hiding in the temple of your heart. The next time your children sit through story time with a transgender storyteller, read through the first chapter of Romans and see what happens when God is not honored. “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.” Romans 1:22-23. Sounds a bit like the hidden things that Ezekiel was shown. When God isn’t honored, all manner of sin is accepted, and we see that sin at center stage today. If you’re a Christian and hold God’s plan for marriage as truth, but think it’s just an individual choice or “people are born that way”, then you’re hiding sin in the temple. You know God’s truth but find sin acceptable “Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” Romans 1:32. Read the full chapter to see what God thinks of lifestyles today and why you, as a Christian, can’t accept this sin. We all need to be careful of acting pious but having thoughts that are contrary to a Christian lifestyle. For instance, the Ten Commandments tell us not to commit adultery, but Jesus said that even looking at a woman with lust is adultery. “Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: but I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” Matthew 5:27-28. What movies do you watch, what websites do you visit, and what music do you hear? Those wicked thoughts are hidden in the “chambers of imagery”, but are they really hidden? God knows your thoughts. If your thoughts are filled with lust, anger, and pride, then it’s time to draw closer to God in thoughts, words, and deeds. Make God’s word part of you. Clean out the clutter of idols in your heart. Don’t provoke God to jealousy by trying to hide sin in the temple of your heart. “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2. Daily Jot: An alternative to Critical Race Theory - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com There is much debate across the country about teaching children Critical Race Theory. Recently, The Epoch Times reported that over 5,000 teachers, principals and librarians signed a petition at the Marxist-based Zinn Education Project vowing to teach Critical Race Theory to their students, even if it is outlawed. While whether it was all teachers or activists who signed the petition remains in question, it is alarming that there is such commitment to this Marxist doctrine within the US government school system. The Zinn Education Project produces so-called “history lessons” based on books by Marxist writer Howard Zinn. Herein, you see where Critical Race Theory has its divisive and extreme origins. Let’s understand more. Critical Race Theory (CRT) is defined by Britannica as a theory based on the premise that “race is not a natural, biologically grounded feature of physically distinct subgroups of human beings but a socially constructed (culturally invented) category that is used to oppress and exploit people of color. Critical race theorists hold that the law and legal institutions in the United States are inherently racist insofar as they function to create and maintain social, economic, and political inequalities between whites and nonwhites, especially African Americans.” Harvard University says CRT “is a regime of white supremacy and privilege maintained despite the rule of law and the constitutional guarantee of equal protection of the laws.” Harvard University continues, ”critical race scholars identify and embrace a radical tradition of race-conscious mobilization as an empowerment strategy for African-Americans, Latinos, Asians, and other persons of color. Affirmative action is a wedge allowing a broader inquiry into why wealth, education, power, and employment are distributed as they are and also a way to re-invigorate nationalist, rather than integrationist, approaches to racial justice. They oppose apparently neutral rules, such as color-blindness, and one-person, one-vote, because they have helped to produce school systems, employment settings, mass media outlets, and housing arrangements that are racially segregated or vehicles for white domination of persons of color.” This is a false belief that white people are evil and perpetuate an evil system against all people of color. It is divisive and against the premise of equality, true equity, and moral character. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s axiom that all men should be judged by the content of their character rather than by the color of their skin is negated by Critical Race Theory. Moreover, it goes against God—as all things Marxist do. As is written in Galatians 4:28, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” No one is evil due to the color of their skin, but they are redeemed by being born again into Christ. An alternative to teaching hateful Critical Race Theory, would be to teach the loving, character-building, and unifying principles of the Bible—as was done before the Marxists were allowed to teach in government schools. The population of Nineveh at that time was around one million people, and an awakening swept through the entire city. Yet it wasn’t thanks to Jonah, the prophet whom God sent. When the Lord told him to go to Nineveh and preach, he caught a boat going in the opposite direction. He was swallowed by a great fish, and after he repented, the fish vomited him onto dry land. Jonah wasn’t happy about preaching to these people. He didn’t even care if God judged them. So he simply told them, “Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!” (Jonah 3:4 NKJV). Loosely paraphrased, Jonah was saying, “You’re going to burn, so deal with it.” There was no offer of forgiveness, yet amazingly, God worked in Nineveh. The people turned to Him. They repented. And because of that, God spared them. Later Jesus said, “The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here” (Matthew 12:41 NKJV). The people of Nineveh didn’t have the message that we have today. They didn’t hear that God loved them so much that He sent His own Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross and pay for their sins. They didn’t hear that if you will put your faith in Jesus, you can know that when you die, you will go to Heaven. And they didn’t know that forgiveness could be given and received instantaneously if a person would believe. Perhaps your life is falling apart right now. Christ can transform it.
