The Rapture of the Church – Part 2 - By Jack Kinsella
What is the purpose of the Tribulation period? That should go a long way toward helping us to understand whether or not the Church will be raptured before the Tribulation Period, out of it, or after it. We begin with the Prophet Daniel. Daniel was given a vision of history as it would unfold. Daniel foretold the rise and fall of three great empires and the rise, fall and revival of the last great world empire — that of Rome. “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.” Daniel 9:24 We’ve dealt with the nuts and bolts of Daniel 9:24 previously. But here is a quick review of the salient points: 1. ‘Weeks’ refer to ‘weeks of years’ – 70 7 year periods equalling 490 years using the Hebrew ‘shabua’ or ‘heptad’ the way we use the Greek ‘decade’ in our culture to divide years into groups of ten years each. 2. The angel specifically said this period was for Daniel’s people (Jews) and Daniel’s holy city (Jerusalem). 3. Within this time frame six things will be accomplished; 1) finish the transgression, 2) make an end of sin, 3) make reconcilation for sin, 4) bring in everlasting righteousness, 5) seal up the vision and prophecy and 6) anoint the Most Holy. All of these are clearly directed at Israel. Points 1-3 were settled for the Church at Calvary, points 4-6 take place at the end of the Tribulation, after the 2nd Coming, with the establishment of the Millennial Kingdom. The first 69 weeks –483 years, concluded with the Messiah being ‘cut off, but not for Himself” (Dan 9:26). Then there is a pause in God’s Plan for Israel while He turns His attention to the Church. Daniel is told the 70th week opens with the antichrist ‘confirming a covenant between Israel and the many’ (Daniel 9:27) Daniel indicates the Tribulation Period is for Israel’s national redemption. That theme is picked up by Zechariah 12-14 and is further outlined in Revelation Chapters 4-20. Jeremiah says it is the ‘time of Jacob’s trouble’. “Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of JACOB’S TROUBLE,(emphasis mine) but he shall be saved out of it.” (Jeremiah 30:7) “For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet I will not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.” (Jeremiah 30:11) There is also a second group of people that go through the Tribulation. “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.” (Revelation 3:10) Note the phrase, ‘them that dwell upon the earth’. We find it six other times; Rev. 6.10, 8:13, 11:10; 13:8; and 17:8. In 8:13 a threefold woe is pronounced against them because of the final three trumpets, which are to come. They are the ones who gloat over the death of the two witnesses in 11:10; and worship the beast from the sea in 13:8. In 13:14 they are the individuals who are deceived by the beast from the land into making an image of the first beast. The earth dwellers gaze in wonder at the scarlet beast in 17:8, while 13:8 and 17:8 adds that their names are not written in the Book of Life. By contrast to the ‘earth-dwellers’, Jesus says of the Church in His prayer at Gethsemane; “They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.” (John 17:16) Clearly, since the Tribulation period is the time of Jacob’s Trouble, was pronounced upon Daniel’s people and Daniel’s city, and its purpose is to accomplish for Daniel’s people in the last days the same thing accomplished for the Church at the Cross, the Tribulation period is for the Jews. Just as clearly, according to Jesus, it is also to judge the earthdwellers whose names are not written in the Book of Life. If there is a purpose for the Church in the Tribulation Period, there is no express mention of that purpose in Scripture, although Scripture is clear regarding both Jews and ‘earth-dwellers’. And the ‘earth dwellers’ can’t be the Church, since their names are not written in the Book of Life. Look at 1 Thessalonians 1:8-10, specifically at verse 10: “And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.” What ‘wrath to come’? Romans 8:1 says I am already delivered from being condemned to hell. “There IS therefore NOW no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus…“ – Romans 8:1 Now skip forward to 1 Thessalonians 5:1-9. (3) “For when THEY shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon THEM, as travail upon a woman with child; and THEY shall not escape.” (Note the pronouns ‘they’ and ‘them’) (5) “Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: WE are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let US not sleep, as do others; but let US watch and be sober.” (Note the change — ‘they’- ‘them’ become ‘we’- ‘us’) (7) “For THEY that sleep sleep in the night; and THEY that be drunken are drunken in the night.” (8) “But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.” Ok – let’s stop here. There is clearly a distinction between Jews, ‘earth-dwellers’ and ‘us’ — the Church. Now look up at verse 8’s reference to ‘the hope of salvation’. What does that mean — ‘hope’ of salvation? Salvation from what? My salvation comes with an iron-clad guarantee, signed in Blood. I don’t ‘hope’ for salvation — I am saved now. Clearly, taken in context, the ‘hope of salvation’ referenced by Paul can’t be salvation from hell. But salvation from the ‘wrath to come’ is indicated by the context and consistent with the doctrine that says “I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them from my hand.” (John 10:28) And the ‘wrath to come’ is the Tribulation period – the time of Jacob’s Trouble. The argument for a pre-tribulation Rapture of the Church is consistent with Scripture. In the next issue, we’ll look at the Scriptures used to support a Mid Tribulation Rapture and see how it lines up with the revealed Word of God. As we progress, keep in mind that the salient point is not so much ‘when’ as it is “Who” is coming. Because Jesus is coming. And soon. China Warns “There Will Surely Be Conflict And Confrontation” With The United States If Nothing Changes - by Michael Snyder - http://endoftheamericandream.com/china-warns-there-will-surely-be-conflict-and-confrontation-with-the-united-states-if-nothing-changes/ Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang just warned the entire world that “there surely will be conflict and confrontation” with the United States unless there is a dramatic change in U.S. behavior, and you would think that such a direct threat would be front page news all over the nation today. Unfortunately, most of our politicians don’t seem to understand how serious this is. We are accustomed to politicians that just blurt out whatever stupid things come into their heads at the moment, and then later on their aides come along and explain that they really didn’t mean to make such inflammatory statements. But Chinese politicians are not like that at all. Chinese politicians choose their words with great care, and making a direct threat against another nation is considered to be a very serious matter. With that in mind, I would like for you to carefully read what Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang just said about the current state of his country’s relationship with the United States… “If the United States does not hit the brake, but continues to speed down the wrong path, no amount of guardrails can prevent derailing and there surely will be conflict and confrontation,” said Qin, whose new position is junior to the Communist Party’s senior foreign policy official, Wang Yi. “Such competition is a reckless gamble, with the stakes being the fundamental interests of the two peoples and even the future of humanity.” I was absolutely floored when I first read that. And he is not the only Chinese politician speaking this way. On Monday, Xi Jinping made it exceedingly clear that he is losing patience with the United States… China’s leader Xi Jinping hit out at the United States with unusually direct comments as he called on the country’s private companies to “fight” alongside the Communist Party at a time of mounting challenges at home and abroad. “[In the past five years,] Western countries led by the United States have contained and suppressed us in an all-round way, which has brought unprecedented severe challenges to our development,” Xi told a group of government advisers representing private businesses during an annual legislative meeting in Beijing on Monday. Without a doubt, the Chinese have done many things that are completely unacceptable. But hopefully our differences with China can be resolved peacefully, because a full-blown war with China would be absolutely catastrophic. Unfortunately, anti-China hysteria in Washington is increasing with each passing day, and the Biden administration seems to relish any opportunities that they get to provoke the Chinese. If the warmongers in D.C. really want a war with China, can we at least wait until the current conflict that we are involved in is over? For a moment, think about this from a strategic standpoint. Western politicians are now publicly acknowledging that we are “at war” with Russia, and it appears that this conflict in Ukraine is not going to end any time soon. At this point the Ukrainians are using ammunition faster than we can provide it, and our own stockpiles are running really low because of how much we have already shipped out. So why in the world would we even consider getting into another conflict right now? Sadly, we may not have a choice. The moment that China invades Taiwan, the U.S. and China will be at war. Recently, CIA Director William Burns publicly stated that Xi Jinping has ordered the Chinese military to be ready to invade Taiwan by 2027… The US has entered into this dispute, providing weapons and intelligence, with Director William Burns warning that the US knew “as a matter of intelligence” that Xi had ordered his military forces to be ready to conduct an invasion of Taiwan by 2027. Personally, I don’t think that Xi Jinping will wait that long. I think that he realizes that he has a unique window of opportunity right now. The war in Ukraine is severely draining U.S. military resources, and Joe Biden is a dazed and confused old man. If the Chinese wait until after the next U.S. presidential election, the Chinese may have to invade while a Republican is in the White House, and that is a scenario that I think Xi Jinping would prefer to avoid. So I believe that it will happen sooner rather than later, and both sides just continue to flex their muscles in the Taiwan Strait. For example, just consider all of the activity that we witnessed last week… China and the United States have flexed their military might around Taiwan over the past three days, as tensions between the two rival powers flared up. The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has sent 68 aircraft and 10 warships close to Taiwan since Monday, according to the island’s defence ministry, while the US confirmed its P-8A Poseidon reconnaissance plane had been deployed to fly through the Taiwan Strait. Online flight-checking platforms showed the US had also sent aerial refuelling aircraft and bombers near the area. If our leaders were smart, they would at least be seeking to delay the coming conflict with China. But the truth is that they really do not know what they are doing, and so we could easily find ourselves fighting Russia and China at the same time. And don’t forget about the North Koreans. They just keep getting angrier and angrier… Kim Yo-jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, warned Tuesday the North is ready to take “overwhelming” actions against military activities by the United States and South Korea, as its rivals are staging joint military drills involving American strategic assets. Kim also said the North will regard any U.S. attempt to intercept a missile that it will fire as a “clear declaration of war” against the reclusive nation, according to the North’s Korean Central News Agency (KCNA). This is a time of “wars and rumors of wars”, and it is getting really difficult to see a way that this story will end well for the United States. At this stage, a big chunk of the U.S. population seems to agree with that assessment. According to a brand new poll that was just released, 43 percent of U.S. voters think that we are literally on the brink of World War III… A new nationwide study from the Trafalgar Group and Convention of States Action (COSA) reveals that 43.4 percent of US voters believe the country is on the brink of World War III, considering the war in Ukraine, perceived threats against other European nations, and China’s aggressive posture against the US. 30.3% of those polled do not believe we’re on the brink of another world war, while 26.3% are not sure. I truly wish that I had words that were sufficient to convey the seriousness of the crisis that we are facing. China, Russia and North Korea all have nuclear weapons. And once the nukes start flying, there is no turning back. So let us pray for peace, because right now we really are on the verge of the unthinkable. Prophecy Update Videos Must Watch Videos! Pompeo: It Was A Lab Leak… But The Mainstream Media Chose To Dismiss Our Findings As ‘Conspiracy Theories’ – By Mike Pompeo - https://harbingersdaily.com/pompeo-it-was-a-lab-leak-but-the-mainstream-media-chose-to-dismiss-our-findings-as-conspiracy-theories/ The Department of Energy this week announced what many of us have known since the earliest days of the pandemic: COVID-19 leaked from a laboratory in Wuhan. This new determination is yet another step toward dispelling the unlikely claim – once treated as the gospel-truth by the mainstream media – that the coronavirus was transmitted from an animal to a human, rather than made in a Chinese Communist Party-run lab. Getting this right is important for two reasons: First, it will allow us to understand how this pandemic really started and guard against future errors wrought by irresponsible and dangerous research. Second, we can finally, confidently place the blame for this pandemic where it belongs: the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The CCP unleashed this virus on the world and covered it up, and it needs to be held accountable for its malfeasance. It is also worth remembering the mainstream media’s disingenuous, appalling efforts to suppress any credible assertions that COVID-19 may have leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. I made clear as Secretary of State that there was a significant amount of evidence that suggested the virus had leaked from a lab. Rather than do their job, which was to honestly inform the public about important matters, the mainstream media chose to dismiss our findings as “conspiracy theories.” The Washington Post called the idea “vexing,” the New York Times called it a “fringe theory,” and one ABC reporter stopped just short of saying I needed a tin-foil hat. Even within the federal bureaucracy, there were so-called experts who were uninterested in discerning the virus origins – foremost among them being Anthony Fauci, who called the lab-leak theory a “shiny object.” We didn’t listen to that noise. Instead, during my final days as Secretary of State, my team worked overtime to deliver a fact sheet based upon our own investigations and intelligence assessments regarding the spread of the virus. We did not claim to know with certainty whether the virus had leaked from a lab or not, as such a determination would have been impossible to make without access to the CCP’s closely guarded case data and information surrounding the virus. We simply laid out the facts for the American people and vowed that the United States would continue to pursue a “credible and thorough investigation,” as well as demand transparency from the Chinese Communist Party. Sadly, the demand for transparency and accountability from the CCP that we pushed for so strongly in the Trump Administration has been sorely lacking from Team Biden. In the wake of the Department of Energy’s updated determination, the Biden Administration has seemed more interested in throwing cold water on the lab-leak theory than in actually demanding accountability from China. Honest questions about Fauci’s decision-making have been met with swift denouncements rather than serious inquiry or answers. Especially in the wake of the CCP spy balloon, this is a tailor-made opportunity for our leaders to put Xi and his cronies on their back foot and turn a global spotlight on the dangerously reckless regime in Beijing. Instead, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan opted to say there is “no definitive answer” on the origins of the virus, while President Biden himself has yet to weigh in. This is more weakness from Biden. This Administration prizes cooperation – especially in the absurd, ethereal realm of climate change diplomacy – with the Chinese Communist Party’s leaders so much that it is willing to be soft on China in nearly every way. Let’s be clear: Regardless of this Administration’s views on the lab-leak theory, it is in the best interests of the American people (and the whole world) that we find out how this pandemic started and demand answers from the Chinese Communist Party. If this virus leaked from a lab in Wuhan, how can we be sure such a calamity will not befall the world again? The American people deserve answers – at the very least, the Biden Administration should declassify any information it can that led the Department of Energy to change its conclusion. Failure to do so will only further confirm this Administration’s shameful reluctance to confront the Chinese Communist Party. Many are shocked that China still has yet to be held accountable. If not for the origins of the coronavirus (of which the evidence has been overflowing), at the very least, for their cover-up of COVID-19 and silencing of whistleblowers. When most people think of “lawlessness,” they may picture in their minds images of looting, arson, destruction, etc. However, a significant form of “lawlessness” comes from corrupt world powers who do not abide by the law (internally or internationally) and are not held accountable. Additionally, the countries that disregard enacting justice and uncovering facts due to their individual benefit, agenda, or political positioning are also perpetrators of lawlessness. In Matthew 24, the disciples ask Jesus, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and the end of the world?” Jesus’ response was a detailed description of what the world would look like prior to His return. Among other things, Jesus tells us that the last days would be characterized by lawlessness (Matthew 24:12). How Do You Approach Jesus? - Nathele Graham - [email protected] Jesus was well known in Israel. Some people admired Him while others vehemently rejected Him and wanted to kill Him. Oddly, those who despised Him the most were the ones who should have loved Him. The religious leaders never approached Jesus without trying to silence Him. They were very critical of Him and they didn’t like the fact that He didn’t kowtow to them, but stood against their self-righteous pride and rule over the people. These men served their own self-interest and didn’t honor God. There was one Pharisee who decided to humbly approach Jesus and seek truth. “There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: the same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.” John 3:1-2. I like Nicodemus. He didn’t go along with his fellow Pharisees and despise Jesus, but went to Him to find out truth. Jesus spoke with Nicodemus and told him to be born again. “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3. Because this visit was recorded by John, we learn a great truth. When we are born into this life, we have a sin nature that will always cause us to stumble, but when we truly come to Jesus and are born again, we are a new creation in Christ. We will always have the sin nature, but from that point on, God sees us through the blood which Jesus shed for our salvation. We need to submit to Christ and turn from lust of the flesh and our own prideful desires. We need to walk in the Spirit, not in the flesh. “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit” John 3:6. This conversation changed Nicodemus’ life. He was there with Joseph of Arimathea to bury Jesus after the crucifixion. Joseph was a Pharisee, who secretly followed Christ. There were many women who approached Jesus, and He was always kind and gentle towards them. One day Jesus and the disciples were going to Galilee and travelled through Samaria. Near a city named Sychar He sat on Jacob’s well, and sent his disciples to town to buy some food. It was noon, and time to eat. That’s when a woman came to draw water. Most women drew water early in the day when it was cool, but this woman came after the others were gone. She was a woman of Samaria and He was Jewish. There should have been no contact between them, but Jesus asked her for water. “Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? For the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.” John 4:9. Jesus told her that if she had known who He was, she would have asked Him for water and He would have given her living water. The conversation went on and she was a little flirty with Him. He kept talking about the living water she could get from Him, and the woman finally said she wanted the living water. Jesus knew of her sins, but wanted her to find salvation. He told her to call her husband to come to the well and she said she had no husband. Jesus knew she was living a sinful life, but didn’t condemn her. He told her she was right when she said she had no husband “For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidist thou truly.” John 4:18. God has established marriage to be a lasting covenant between a man and a woman, and “living together” isn’t condoned by God. The conversation went on and the woman ended up recognizing that Jesus was the Messiah. This woman of Samaria was much more perceptive than the Scribes and Pharisees who should have known who He was. This woman went to the city and told the men “Come see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?” John 4:29. The men of the city came to Jesus and believed. Because the woman was brave enough to approach Him, she met Jesus and brought others to Him. Another woman who approached Jesus had been ill for twelve years. She had spent all of her money on seeking medical help, but doctors couldn’t help her. She was in a crowd around Jesus when a man, named Jairus, approached Him. His daughter was dying and he had faith that if Jesus would lay His hand upon her, the little girl would live. Jesus didn’t hesitate. He got up to follow the man and heal the girl. The woman who was ill knew she had to do something. “For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” Mark 5:28. She had faith, but wasn’t a show-off, and quietly touched the hem of His robe and was healed. “And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said Who touched my clothes?” Mark 5:30. The woman was scared, but fell down before Him and confessed that she had touched Him. Jesus wasn’t angry, but full of compassion. “And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole: go in peace and be whole of thy plague.” Mark 5:34. We never should be afraid to approach Jesus in faith. Then He went to where the little girl had died. There were mourners making quite a noise, but Jesus told them the girl wasn’t dead. “And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying. And he took the damsel by the hand and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.” Mark 5:40-41. Can you imagine the emotions of the parents when their daughter came back to life? Only Jesus has conquered death for all who believe in Him. Approach Him today in faith, and humbly ask for salvation. The next ones to approach Him were two blind men. “And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.” Matthew 9:27. He asked them if they believed He could heal them and they said and they said yes. “Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.” Matthew 9:29. It was their faith that allowed Jesus to heal them. They asked Him for mercy, and He showed them mercy. As I read of the many different ways that people approached Jesus, I see that He always had compassion on anyone who needed His compassion. How do you approach Him? Are you one who demands that Jesus give you everything you want? Scripture gives many accounts of Jesus providing for needs, but I don’t see where He gave power and riches to people. We can look to the life of the Apostle Paul to see that Jesus meets our needs but doesn’t always give us what we think we need. Paul had something that troubled him greatly. He approached God about removing the problem. “And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.” 2 Corinthians 12:7. Paul was a man who lived by faith and served God every day. He established many congregations, and wrote letters that edify us today. He could have been filled with pride over his accomplishments, but understood the thorn in his flesh was to keep him humble. He didn’t like it, but didn’t get angry with God for not taking the problem away. “For this thing I besought the Lord thrice that it might depart from me.” 2 Corinthians 12:8. What was this thorn? Scholars have debated that question for centuries. Nobody truly knows, but we can learn a lesson from this. Not all troubles will depart just because we pray. We need to understand that God is sovereign. “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefor will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9. That’s the best way to approach God. Be humble, but make your petitions known to Him through prayer. His answer may be different than what you want, but He knows all things. He also knows what you will do if He gives you what you want. Will you use His healing to glorify Him, or will you believe you deserve all the material things you want? If you ask Him for a bigger house or more money, will you use it for His glory or will you use it to puff yourself up to look important? Paul’s attitude was one of submission and humility. “Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:10. We need to be humble when we approach Jesus. James and John had to learn that lesson. “And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Master we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire.” Mark 10:35. That sounds like a “name-it-and-and-claim-it” type of approach. That’s not a good way to approach Jesus. Jesus asked them what they wanted, and their request was very selfish and for their own glory. “They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on they right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory.” Mark 10:37. Jesus told them they had no idea what they were asking. To their minds it was a simple request. Lift us up above all the other disciples, but they didn’t understand what would be required of them to be so honored. Too often we don’t see beyond our own selfish desires, then blame God for not showering us with all we ask of Him. “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” James 4:10. Jesus knows what the future is, and what we can handle. If we can’t pay the price of our wants, then He won’t give them to us. If our wants will ultimately harm us, He won’t answer our prayer. James and John would have a lot of persecution in their future and James would be killed for his faith, while John spent time in prison and on Patmos. They are with Jesus now, but are they sitting in places of honor? We won’t know until we are gathered Home. Instead of asking Jesus to give you what you want, why not approach Him and ask Him what you can do to serve Him. After all, He has given His all for you. Daily Jot: Of evil leaders and hapless victims - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com Communism and socialism are about control and wealth redistribution. There are leaders and there are victims. While the leaders of these systems always say they are upholding the rights of the minorities and marginalized (the victims), what they are really doing is robbing the victims blind and enslaving them. The goal is to make these victims believe and trust that the leaders are working on their behalf so there is this constant pressure applied by the leaders that gives the impression that the leaders are the saviors. But it really never gets better for the victims, they are just hoping it will. There are two main areas today that the leaders are pressing the victims—climate change and healthcare. We have seen the results of socialist healthcare as lead by the World Health Organization in partnership with the World Economic Forum. Millions lose their lives to medical protocols decided upon and dictated by health “administrators” rather than scientists and doctors. The leaders used fear and sold the victims on the hope that lockdowns, unsafe and ineffective vaccines, and demonizing alternative opinions as unscientific would save them. All the while, they were draining the victims of not only their lifeblood, but also their ability to financially sustain themselves. Currently, almost every claim the leaders made about COVID has turned out to be a lie, but it is no consolation to the victims. The damage is done. The wealth redistributed. Climate change is no different. Selling the victims once again on the fear that because of mankind, the planet will be destroyed due to weather changes, the leaders are at the best of their deadly game. Taxes will be used to save the planet from the weather. Electric everything will make a cleaner environment and save the planet. Wind will be a safe and effective way to generate electric. Leaders crisscross the world in private jets mongering the fear. Companies are started to make batteries, windmills, set up charging stations. Wealth redistribution from taxes, government contracts and backroom deals fund these efforts. Contracts with slavers in China and elsewhere mine the deadly battery ingredients. Entire industries are set up to exploit natural resources at the expense of human life and the environment. California is a great example. It made such a push for electric cars, then because it couldn’t handle its very basic electric demand, had to prohibit people from charging their cars due to rolling brown-outs. Windmills off the shores of New Jersey are reportedly damaging the marine life ecosystem to the point of causing massive deaths of whales and other fish, as well as birds. The very leaders who encourage victims with environmental lip service are the ones causing this new brand of environmental terrorism and modern slavery. They are pocketing the extra cash and thumbing their noses at the hapless victims. Ephesians 5:6 says, “Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things comes the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.” Obey God not man. Be a victor not a victim. Daily Devotion: The Basket in the Reeds - by Greg Laurie – www.harvest.org But when she could no longer hide him, she got a basket made of papyrus reeds and waterproofed it with tar and pitch. She put the baby in the basket and laid it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile River. —Exodus 2:3 https://harvest.org/resources/devotion/the-basket-in-the-reeds/ - Listen When Amram and Jochebed, the parents of Moses, realized they could no longer hide Moses, they put the matter in God’s hands. They placed Moses inside a little basket covered with pitch, which means that it was waterproof. Then they put the basket among the reeds in the Nile River, which happened to be where Pharaoh’s daughter decided to bathe in the river that day. As though on cue, Moses cried, and she saw the basket in the reeds. And when she opened it and laid eyes on Moses, her maternal instincts kicked in. Seemingly out of nowhere, Miriam, the sister of Moses, approached the princess and offered to find someone to help nurse the baby for her. Ultimately, Pharaoh’s daughter paid Jochebed to nurse her own son until he was older. I love how that story unfolds, because in it we see the practical and the spiritual working together. Sometimes we go too far one way or the other. Everything is spiritual and never practical, or everything is practical and never spiritual. However, there’s a place for trusting, and there’s a place for being practical. Baby Moses cried, and Pharaoh’s daughter heard. A baby’s tears were God’s first weapon in His war against Egypt. How hard it must have been for Jochebed to turn Moses over to Pharaoh’s daughter when the time came. But she had to trust the Lord. Jesus said, “And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or property, for my sake, will receive a hundred times as much in return and will inherit eternal life” (Matthew 19:29 NLT). Jesus keeps His promises, and He will keep His promises to you. Whatever you have given up to follow Jesus will be more than made up to you in this life and in the life to come. America is in more danger of falling than at any time in its history. But I believe Bible prophecy predicts this very decline. From this point on, we believers have to get serious. We are going to face discouragement, disillusionment and, most certainly, persecution in the time between now and the Rapture. But don't be discouraged or disillusioned. The coming turmoil will provide us unrivaled opportunities to share the good news of the Gospel. So be ready to share your faith and your hope with those who need Christ. We still have time to reap a great harvest of souls for God's kingdom!" - Hal Lindsey 1) We need your prayers!- We proclaim the Truth of the Word of God and we are under constant spiritual and sometimes even physical attack. 2) We need your encouragement!- We need to hear from you, let us know how the Lord is blessing you through this ministry so that we can share it with others. 3) We need your input! - If you have a prophetic article or story or if there is a news related item we missed, let us know. 4) We need your financial support!- To put it quite simply, without your support, there would be no Prophecy Update.
