8” But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.” (1st Corinthians 5:8-10)
 
9 “For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;
10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.” (1st Thessalonians 1:9-10)
 
The above passages has been used many, many times to support the doctrine of a HARPAZO, or the redemption of the Church when Jesus comes for His own before the Tribulation starts. It is popularly called the RAPTURE. This doctrine has been in existence since the 1st century, but was forgotten because of the rising of a Gnostic church in the Middle Ages, that hid those facts from the people, due to its lust for power on earth. It was not again revealed and re-discovered until the 18th century, and was designed by God for the End of Age, the age we live in right now.
 
SOME MOCK THAT THE RAPTURE IS AN ESCAPE HATCH
 
Some take issue with that concept, saying “are we any better than the apostles, or the untold amount of men down through the ages that suffered persecution?” They are referring to the coming Tribulation and why are we exempt from this time? Their mocking of the rapture as being an escape hatch from persecution, but fail to understand that the removal of the church is not an escape but a fulfillment of the promises of God and we have VICTORY IN JESUS over this sinful world.
 
The answer to that question they propose of course is no, we are not better than than those who have suffered persecution from mortal men, but in these last days of the government of men over their own affairs, God has promised us something they did not have. We are separated from the coming wrath of God by time and space. That is the difference between them and us. Down through the ages, there have always been men who would bring harm and even death to other men over religious beliefs. Men have always persecuted other men, and that doesn't mean we won't see some form of persecution before Jesus comes, but we keep our faith that Jesus will protect His own, based on the clear meanings of Psalms 91, which I proclaim to all who are His own.
 
TIME WHEN MEN PERSECUTED THOSE WHO WOULD NOT BOW
 
I am reminded of the Dark Ages, when a ruling theocracy slaughtered untold amount of people for the quest and lust for power over other men, and destroyed all who would not bend the knee to its rule. But down through the ages, you cannot find, or point to in the Bible an instance where those who follow after our God, our Lord and Savior, have experienced the wrath of the Almighty falling on their heads. Many Biblical stories chronicle how God has a Divine habit of removing His chosen people out of the way, when His wrath against rebellious mankind falls on them.
 
Speaking of the Dark Ages, this same church came up with a blasphemous doctrine that all who die must pass through a “temporary” state of punishment in fire to rid them of unforgiven sins. They called it venial sins. If Jesus did not die for the whole earth, and those who believe in Him are not cleansed TOTALLY from past, present and future sins, then to pass through the wrath of God during the Tribulation is akin to this hideous doctrine of purgatory, that the blood of Jesus just wasn't quite able to save a man totally from His sins. Which any truly washed in the blood of Calvary Christian knows is not true. But let's return to the stories of the Bible that speaks of this removal from God's wrath.
 
SHORT EXAMPLES OF REMOVAL FROM GOD'S WRATH
 
Some of the more obvious aspects of that fact are the children of Israel during the Egyptian enslavement and the plague after plague brought about to the rebellious Pharoah who defied God and His commands and wouldn't let God's people go. These plagues were isolated to Egypt and never came close to the land of Goshen, where the Hebrew slaves were living.
 
Then there is Noah and Lot, who both were removed from the wrath of God, one by an ark, the other fleeing to the mountains before the angels of God were sent to destroy the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. Springing off these well know Biblical stories, I find no account where God has subjected His people to His own righteous wrath. Can you? Some will say that they went through, not out of the wrath of God, but are they missing something? I think they are.
 
But let us explore briefly what the Bible says we can expect as this Age of Grace draws to a close. There are many verses scattered about that supports that when God's wrath falls upon this planet, the Church of the Living God will not be present.
 
EXPLAINING THE CONCEPT TO A FRIEND
 
I was having a conversation with an online friend, who was an admitted post-tribulation believer, and as we conversed back and forth, I brought up a well know verse found in your Bible:
 
10 “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.” (Revelation 3:10-11)
 
Here our Risen Lord speaks to the apostle John and tells him, that because those who have kept His Word and followed His commands, our Lord promises us that we will be kept from this hour of temptation. Our God and Savior gave us commands to follow, and a way back to God our Father and He is the only Way.
 
“I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no man cometh to the Father, but by me.”
(John 14:6)
 
In speaking with my online friend, who is a student of the Hebrew and Greek translations concerning Bible text, I pointed out to him that the original Greek shows that this passage speaks of the Church being taken out of, not through the tribulation.
 
Many people debate this verse and make assumptions that like Lot and Noah, or even the Hebrew slaves in Egypt, that they were brought through the wrath of God. But even my friend didn't realize that there is one word in the Greek that is in this passage and changes the whole meaning of the passage, and he had read it many times, and passed right over it. The passage that tells us “I also will keep thee from the hour of Temptation”, that the words “I will keep thee” in the original Greek centers on the Greek word (εκ [ek] ) that here denotes out of not through the wrath of God. My friend was flabbergasted, that the original Greek spoke that the Church is taken “out of” the coming wrath of God that falls on the whole world. I believe I changed his mind, as he confessed it as so.
 
We continued our discussion as I told him that even in the Old Testament that there is proof of the Church being removed from this earth and put into “our chambers” Needless to say, as we talked, the friend got real quiet.
 
19 “Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
21 For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.” (Isaiah 26:19-21)
 
Notice that it speaks of the dead rising and being taken to chambers that they are to shut the doors behind them, because the wrath of God, or indignation is going to punish the inhabitants of the earth. It speaks of what I believe was revealed to the Apostle Paul, when being taught by revelation by our Lord Jesus while living in the Arabian desert for three years, before he even came to the disciple of Jesus in Jerusalem. Paul prophecies it even further than Isaiah in his prophecy.
 
51 “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” (1st Corinthians 15:51-55)
 
Paul reaffirms this prophecy when speaking to the Thessalonians and adds more visual information about our change that we will experience:
 
13 “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” (1st Thessalonians 4:14-18)
 
In your mind, if you visualize what Isaiah wrote and what Paul repeated twice in his epistles, you can see that those who are in the dust of the earth, asleep in their graves (that being their mortal bodies, as the spirit is not there), they are suddenly changed, reunited with their physical bodies and changed into immortal Spirits into what Jesus is right now, a Glorified Man of flesh and bones. This is the same type of body that Jesus revealed to His apostles in their closed room and sat and ate fish and honeycomb in their presence to prove to them He was not a ghost or phantom. Jesus was an entirely flesh and bone being, that they could handle and feel, and ate before them, BUT could vanish from their site, and walk through walls. These immortal Spirits that we will be are commanded to enter their chambers and shut the doors behind them, till God's wrath is spent and the blood will be disclosed on the earth and will not be hidden.
 
But what bodies are we talking about here when we speak of being changed in the twinkling of an eye?
 
“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.” (1st John 3:1-3)
 
Till that day overtakes us and we are transported so much like the Star Trek episodes used to do, and many who read this can identify with a very objective visual about “beam me up, Scotty” and being transported from one place to another, we look for our Blessed Hope.
 
11 “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
 
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works”. (Titus 2:11-14)
 
MORE QUESTIONS...
 
Ok. My friend asked, so where are these chambers that this passage speaks of? Isaiah has a sister verse, I believe, that adjoins what even Paul wrote and it was spoke of by our Lord Jesus when comforting His disciples.
 
1, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.” (John 14:1-4)
 
This Jesus spoke to draw off their minds from an earthly kingdom to an heavenly one; to point out the place to them whither he was going, and to support them with the views and hopes of glory under all their troubles. By his "Father's house" is meant heaven;
 
10 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” ( 2 Corinthians 5:1 )
 
We are taken to His Father's house and receive rewards based on our service for God. This is His Father's building, where he has, and will have all his family. Note that Jesus is coming to bring us to Himself, and to “receive you unto myself, that where I AM, there you may be also”. Jesus is in heaven's realm at the right hand of the Father on His Throne. Jesus will bring us to His Father's house, not come to us, but we come to Him. Another clue to the HARPAZO.
 
The visualization of these verses brings home to those who look for our Blessed Hope, that there is a glorious future where we will be Kings and Priest to our God and we shall reign upon the earth. John sees a symbolic representation of this truth that the Church is in God's presence, that John sees in a vision of the future.
 
4 "And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.”( Revelation 4:4)
 
Note that the description of these elders? Many have tried to hypothesize who they are. Some say angels, some say they are not human, and others have no idea, so they just pass over without discernment. Angels have never been given crowns, and these saints are entirely human. They are seated, so their work is over and they are at rest. They are on thrones, so they are rulers along with God. They are clothed with white raiment, which is a symbol and sign of the saints of God. They are crowned with gold crowns, so they have been exalted to a high position in the government of God.
 
This vision shows John that the Church here is symbolized by 24 elders, which is a multiplication of the number 12, which in the Bible, is a sign of government. Half from the Old Testament saints, and half from the New Testament Saints, is my belief...all comprising the Church, each look either forward or back at the sacrifice that Jesus made on the Roman cross of His crucifixion for the sins of the world by faith of both groups. The first group of saints were taken to someplace in the heavens, as Jesus emptied Paradise of Old Testament saints when He was resurrected.
 
7” “But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.” (Ephesians 4:7-10)
 
Here is a vision of the combining of the two sets of saints..the Old and the New Testament .The Church will be rule with Christ for a thousand years as the Bible attest to.
 
8 “And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. (this would be tribulations saints, my emphasis)
9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” (Revelation 5:8-10)
 
Our destiny is to be Kings and rule with our Lord Jesus on earth and to point those who are born during that Millennial Reign of Christ, to the sacrifice that Jesus paid on the cross over 2000 years ago, as priest to the Living God who is ruling from Jerusalem. Note that you will not find the word “Church” mentioned again through the whole of Revelation past chapter 3 of this book. We are not mentioned again until we are spoken of in chapter 19 of this apocalyptic book of the start of the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ. It is another clue that the Church is not on earth for the whole of the 7 years of the reign of the Anti-Christ.
 
6 “And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.” (Revelation 19:77-9)
 
Notice that the bride is clothed with fine line, clean and white, for fine linen is a symbol for the righteousness of the saints, which is the Bride of Christ...Immediately, John gives the vision of Jesus returning with His armies from heaven.
 
11 “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.” (Revelation 19:11-16)
 
Of these two passages found in Revelation chp. 19, I want you to focus on one thing. I know who both are, but I want you to see it...note what the Bride is clothed with? She is clothed with linen, white and clean. Then in the next passage quoted we see the armies of heaven coming to witness the final defeat of all rebellion on earth by our Great God and King, Jesus the Christ. Note what those who come with Jesus are wearing? Exactly, they are wearing linen, white and clean, which in both instances are a sign of the saints. The Church has been taken to the marriage supper of the Lamb as written in previous verses, where we receive rewards for service and are joined to our Lord Jesus, and become part of the Family of God our Father, by the marriage covenant and we come back with Him, riding on white horse dressed in the same apparel.
 
16 “'The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” (Romans 8:16-19)
 
From the Old Testament into the New Testament, God has revealed that “we are not appointed to wrath” from God, “but to receive salvation”...being saved out of the coming Tribulation that refines Israel as silver is refined in the furnace, and to extinguish all rebellion and lawlessness on this earth where if the time were not shortened, “no flesh would be saved, but for the elect, those times will be shortened”...That is how near total this earth is purged of all sin and only those who have survived the near complete destruction of planet earth, and have accepted Jesus Christ as Savior of their souls, will enter into the Millennium as mortals.
 
THE INTERNET IS ABUZZ WITH PROPHECY
 
Many people all over the internet are sensing that the time of the return of Jesus Christ is close at hand. Some take liberty and make predictions of what date that glorious event will be, but we cannot know, BUT, we know the season, and from the words of the Bible, we are bumping right up to the time of the return of our Lord Jesus..why? Because Jesus told us in no uncertain terms that when Israel is made a nation again, then that generation will not pass till all thing be fulfilled..and the amazing part, the generation of those who saw Israel born again in her own land, is 70 years old this next year in May of 1948-2018. That my friend, is the number of a generation, and as Psalms 90 tells us:
 
“ The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.” (Psalms 90:10)
 
Yes, my friend, the time of our departure grows close at hand. I have complete trust in the Words of my Omnipotent God, who knows the end from the beginning..the Alpha and the Omega, Jesus Christ. Question? Will you be among those who witness His glorious return for His Bride, at the removal of God's Church someday soon...maybe sooner than anyone thinks? Or will you be in total astonishment, or sincere remorse that you missed this greatest event that ever transpired on humanity, second only to the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead? Don't let this time get away from you.
 
“We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” (2nd Corinthians 6:1-2)
 
Today, if you hear God's voice through His Holy Spirit, do not harden your heart, as God is calling a remnant that will believe in their heart and mind, that Jesus is who He said He was, and did what He did so long ago...
 
16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:16-18)
 
If you believe those words that I have just quoted, in your heart and your mind...then ask Jesus to come into your heart and life right now..Repent of your sins, and make that commitment to walk with Jesus, to read His instruction manual for the rest of your lives, your Bible, and to confess the Lord to others the hope of your salvation.
 
8 “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:8-10)
 
Don't let this opportunity pass you by. Believe by faith that Jesus loves you, and died for you and the sins of the whole world. Don't be subject to the coming wrath of God, as it will be the most horrific time in all of mankind's history. Make that decision for Christ, today.

Israeli Special Forces Take Down Terror Cell in Jenin
 
When the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) caught wind of an imminent terror plot being prepared in the Jenin refugee camp, special forces were sent in last Thursday morning to stop the attack before it began. But on the way in, the Israeli military units came under gunfire and explosive attack by members of other terrorist groups. Heavy firefights ensued which resulted in nine terrorists and civilians being killed and 20 wounded. Despite the best efforts of the enemy, the raid to stop the terror attack was successful. Immediately, the usual suspects in world governments and in media were up in arms, saying it was a massacre by Israel and demanding the UN Security Council condemn the action. In Gaza, the Islamists responded by launching three rockets at Israel, resulting in the Israeli Air Force (IAF) destroying a Hamas underground rocket manufacturing site and a military base also used by Hamas. Then, last night, in response to more rockets being fired from Gaza, the IAF sent fighter jets to target a production and storage site for chemical raw materials for rocket manufacturing, as well as a site for the production of the actual rockets.
 
Massacre in East Jerusalem Synagogue
 
Sadly, the Palestinian terrorists were not satisfied with their rocket retaliation for the raid in Jenin. The next night, a 21-year-old Arab resident of East Jerusalem, exited a car and walked toward a synagogue where people had gathered for Shabbat. The terrorist pulled out a handgun and began firing indiscriminately. Seven men and women were killed, and at least three more were wounded. After his rampage, the shooter escaped by car. However, his vehicle was stopped, and the terror suspect was shot dead as he drew his gun to fire on police. As the mourning began in Israel over this tragedy perpetrated on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, a very different reaction took place on the Palestinian streets of East Jerusalem, Hebron, and Bethlehem, and even in other Arab countries. Fireworks were lit, candies were passed out, and there was singing and dancing in the streets as they celebrated this bloody slaughter. Tween Terrorist Sacrificed by Islamist Idealogues
 
Just hours after the synagogue massacre, a 13-year-old Palestinian boy ambushed a Jewish father and son on an East Jerusalem street and shot them both. The son who was wounded was an off-duty officer in the IDF Paratroopers Brigade and managed to shoot his young attacker. All three are being tended for their wounds, with the father and son being listed in serious but stable condition.
 
Israel Strikes Iranian Missile Smuggling Pipeline
 
After firing warning shots to allow drivers to get clear of their vehicles, IAF jets on Sunday targeted a 25 truck convoy at the al-Qaim border crossing between Iraq and Syria. Six refrigerated trucks were destroyed, which are the type that Iran typically uses to transport missiles and drones. In the same action, other fighter jets targeted a meeting of Iranian commanders in Abu Kamal, a city located just northwest of the border crossing. It is suspected that these men were the ones in charge of the weapons transport.
 
Massive Drone Attack on Military Targets in Iran
 
A major drone attack occurred within the borders of Iran Saturday night. Several cities were targeted, including Tehran and Isfahan. Hardest hit appears to be Isfahan, where a defense factory which produces ammunition and weapons was heavily damaged. Witnesses say that quadcopters were used that dropped bomblets on their targets. While most point their fingers at Israel for the attack, others claim that it was a combination of the US and another country not Israel. Iran’s Islamic Regime Gets Upper Hand on Protests
 
After months of protests and civil unrest against the Islamic regime of Iran, it appears as if the powerful arms of the government and military are finally winning out. Twenty Iranian citizens have already been executed, and another 100 are waiting for their death sentences to be carried out. The protest movement stood strong for as long as it could. Unfortunately, it needed someone to stand strong with them if they were to have a chance of toppling Iran’s radical theocracy. But instead of coming alongside the freedom-craving masses, the governments of the West chose to kowtow to the ayatollahs in the vain hope that they might garner a new nuclear arms deal. Now it is too late, and many more will pay the price with their lives.
 
Terror Attack in Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Tehran
 
Last week, a lone gunman forced his way into the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran. Once inside, he shot three embassy personnel, killing one. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi was quick to condemn the act and offer condolences, but the Azeri government isn’t satisfied with their rival state’s proclamation of innocence. Instead, the government in Baku believes that Iran is purposely keeping embassy security lax, and, as a result, Azerbaijan is pulling its entire embassy staff from Tehran.
 
Mosque Blast in Peshawar, Pakistan
 
A bomb detonated in a Peshawar, Pakistan, mosque Wednesday, killing 101 people and injuring more than 220 more. The suicide bomber moved to the front of the mosque during prayers and detonated his vest. The power of the blast brought the roof down on the worshippers. The mosque was located in a high-security area and was built specifically to be used by police forces. All but three of those dead were members of law enforcement. Claiming responsibility is Omar Mukaram Khurusani, the head of the Jamaat-ul-Ahrar terrorist organization and a member of the leadership council of the Pakistani Taliban. Because the perpetrator was able to get past several checkpoints into the area, there is speculation that he had help from the inside.
 
US Army Kills ISIS Leader in Northern Somalia
 
Last Wednesday, special forces of the United States Africa Command killed Bilal al-Sudani, the senior leader of ISIS in northern Somalia. In the helicopter attack, al-Sudani met his maker along with ten of his fellow militants. Then, two days ago, a Hellfire R9X “Ninja” missile fired from a US drone killed Hassan al-Khadrami and two of his companions while they were at a gas station in Yemen’s northeastern Marib province. Al-Khadrami was a senior al-Qaeda leader who was responsible for manufacturing explosive devices in the Arabian Peninsula. Nice work, ‘Merica!
 
Russia Accuses the United States of Involvement in Nord Stream Explosions
 
In an apparent shift from Vladimir Putin’s previous accusation of Britain blowing up the Nord Stream gas pipelines, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said today that the US was directly involved in the sabotage. Meanwhile, German investigators aren’t ruling out the possibility, saying that they are still “open to the possibility” that a Western country is responsible for the underwater explosions in order to blame Russia.
 
Russia Continues Advancing as Ukraine Prepares for Possible Offensive
 
Vladimir Putin’s military continues its gradual advance, particularly in the area of Bakhmut where Russian forces claim to have the Donbas city surrounded. Casualties are high with estimates reaching the tens of thousands. Meanwhile, Ukraine appears to be preparing for a counter-offensive against the Russian incursion. Military airfields are being upgraded in order to handle western fighter jets, such as the F16, even though none have been promised yet. The US appears ready to send missiles to Ukraine which could be used to target Crimea, although the Biden administration is still holding back on greenlighting an advance into the region which was annexed by Russia in 2014. One European leader who feels that Moscow’s victory is assured no matter what Ukraine does is Hungary’s President Viktor Orbán. Because of the Russian elections next year, Orbán says that Putin needs a victory. So, he is using shock and awe tactics to turn Ukraine into an “uncontrollable ruin.”
 
Three Reasons We Could See Nuclear Weapons Used in 2023
 
The world continues to be closer to nuclear war than it has been in six decades. I believe there are three situations that could lead to the use of nuclear weapons in 2023:
 
If the US greenlights and fully arms Ukraine for an offensive into Crimea, that could trigger Vladimir Putin into deploying a nuclear missile.
 
If Iran employs the enriched uranium that the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) affirms that it is holding in the manufacture of a nuclear bomb, we could see the use of some sort of nuclear weapon by the Tehran regime or one of their proxy terrorist militias.
 
Tensions continue to rise on the Korean Peninsula, and now South Korea is talking about beginning its own nuclear program. If they decide to do so, that could be what pushes Kim Jong-un over the edge leading him to put his own nuclear arsenal to use.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) held its annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland, the week of January 17.
 
By now you may have heard of this group of global elites who want to make you eat bugs instead of beef, force you to walk, bike, or drive electric vehicles rather than your gasoline-powered car, and return you to the dark ages by eliminating every reliable form of energy.
 
According to Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the WEF, the alleged purpose of the 53rd Annual Meeting is to, “focus on solutions and public-private cooperation to tackle the world’s most pressing challenges. It encourages world leaders to work together on the interconnected issues of energy, climate, and nature… Special emphasis is on gender and geographical diversity across all sessions.”
 
The author of Nation First, by George Christensen on Substack offers a different take, however, on what this self-aggrandizing braintrust is all about.
 
“Another year, another of the same performative circus at the WEF forum as the elites arrived in their private jets and were escorted to the venue in large VIP convoys to discuss the ‘dangers of climate change,’ and the need for ‘us’ (as in us ordinary people and not them) to lower our carbon emissions.
 
Yet, a staggering 1040 private flights were recorded coming into Davos, a sizable number of them flying less than 100 kilometers (approx. 63 miles) to reach the destination.
 
Oh… and the WEF also reportedly decided to not allow electric vehicles as a mode of transport to drive around their Davos attendees. Talk about the irony.
 
The 2,500 global elites attending the summit this year sure seem to be big fans of wild parties. Demand for prostitutes and escorts in the alpine town skyrocketed as the conference commenced.
 
And just so you know, Switzerland is a destination hub of sex trafficking, including underage girls, in Europe. In fact, it is legal for 16-year-old girls to work as prostitutes in Switzerland.”

The Great Reset

You won’t own anything [but still be happy].
The US won’t be the world’s leading superpower.

Companies will have to pay fines (to them) to omit carbon dioxide.
You could be preparing to travel to Mars.
Western values will be replaced.
 
Wait… did they just say that they want to take away our private property? Did they just claim, in the name of protecting the environment, that they plan to starve humanity?
 
Although they are trying to dress this up, like putting lipstick on a pig, many are seeing through their façade. The WEF along with other entities and individuals like the World Health Organization (WHO), Rockefeller Foundation, Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, and George Soros have an evil scheme to unleash unprecedented chaos on all of humanity.
 
Their plan for us is poverty, starvation, and death—all in the name of saving the planet via the “Green New Deal” and other deceptive plots.
 
For example, in 2022, the small island nation of Sri Lanka in Southeast Asia experienced catastrophic economic collapse after then-Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe promised to make his country “rich by 2025,” by adopting WEF-sponsored climate change initiatives, such as banning synthetic fertilizers.
 
Beginning in the 1970s and until 2020, Sri Lanka achieved self-sufficiency in rice production. But soon after implementing the new alleged “green” policies, 21 million people on this island fell into desperate poverty and famine, according to The Federalist.
 
Even the Washington Times acknowledges that the green energy policies thrust on countries around the world by the WEF and their cohorts are a recipe for disaster: “If you want to know what the unbridled “green future” will look like, watch Europe with soaring energy costs, blackouts, food shortages, and increasing unemployment and poverty.” Read more here.
 
Rebels with a Dark Cause
 
Who exactly are these people who feel they have the mandate to fix the world? Elon Musk took to Twitter on January 18, 2023, to say that the “WEF is increasingly becoming an unelected world government that the people never asked for and don’t want.”
 
The reality is, they think they are God. Remarkably, the Bible predicted their wickedness thousands of years ago.
 
How dare the nations plan a rebellion.
Their foolish plots are futile!
Look at how the power brokers of the world
 rise up to hold their summit
 as the ruler’s scheme and confer together
 against Yahweh and his Anointed King, saying:
 “Let’s come together and break away from the Creator.
Once and for all let’s cast off these controlling chains
of God and his Christ!”
 
Psalm 2:1-3 (The Passion Translation)
 
Wow, this passage appears to explicitly describe the evil overlords who call themselves the World Economic Forum. Could the Great Reset usher in the Great Tribulation envisioned by the prophets in Daniel chapters 9-12, Zephaniah chapter 1, Joel 2, Isaiah 34, and many others?
 
The Great Tribulation describes a time in the future where there will be unprecedented suffering and death. In Revelation 6, one-fourth of the world's population dies in a relatively short period of time.
 
The causes of death? According to verse 8, people will be killed by the sword (war), famine (food shortages), disease (pandemics), and other reasons.
 
Revelation 6:6 predicts “Two pounds of wheat [will cost] a day’s wages” to show how food prices will rise dramatically. To use an average salary of a retail worker in America as a point of reference, bread would cost $100. With the cost of eggs soaring 60% since last January, this scenario is not unfathomable.
 
The WEF could possibly be the catalyst for the Great Tribulation.
 
The Good News
 
These people are not God—He is. And God alone will have the final word. As for these clowns? Galatians 6:7 says, “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”
 
Thankfully, the Bible also says that those who love God and obey Him will not experience the wrath that is coming during the Tribulation. (See 1 Thessalonians 5:9.) We’ll be talking more about this in future posts.
 
We’ve been given a glimpse of what’s coming—and it’s not pretty. But you have a choice. Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? Are you certain that if you died today, you would spend all of eternity in Heaven? Trust the only real Power Broker with your future.

"I will bring [foreigners] to My holy mountain and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on My altar, for My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations" (Isaiah 56:7).
 
On Jan. 24, the recently restored political cat-with-nine-lives, Bibi Netanyahu, prime minister of Israel, made a sudden surprise trip to Jordan to meet with King Abdullah II on a matter of great urgency. His mission was to reassure the Muslim king that the newly seated Orthodox Jewish/nationalist majority now controlling Israel would not be allowed to disrupt the status quo on the Temple Mount. That status quo consists of virtually absolute Muslim control of the Temple Mount, preserved by Jewish law enforcement, which aggressively suppress' Jewish activity there to prevent, literally, World War III. The entire heavily militarized Muslim world has been at DEFCON 3 since the Jews captured the entirety of Jerusalem in the 1967 war, and much of that world instantly kicks up to DEFCON 2 at the merest hint of Jewish political/religious encroachment on any part of East Jerusalem, but especially the Temple Mount.
 
As a pro-Israel Christian conservative with an eye toward both prophecy and the culture war, I have been amused by the widespread state of panic in the "mainstream" media who universally condemn the new Israeli leadership as "Israel's most right-wing and religiously conservative government in history," but who now are trapped into vesting their previous punching-bag Netanyahu with legitimacy in the hope he can and will restrain the Orthodox Jews from fulfilling what they view as a mandate from God to rebuild His Temple. Good luck with that. While Netanyahu seems to be more of a globalist than a populist in some things, like the COVID-19 plandemic, he is unquestionably a Jewish nationalist with a vision for Jewish control of the entirety of the lands they owned in antiquity (at least) and perhaps even to the wider boundaries God established in Genesis. Indeed, the left hates him for pursuing Jewish settlement of the "West Bank" instead of ceding it to the "Palestinians" (aka Jordanians).
 
I've been privileged to visit Israel four times, most recently leading a church tour group from Southern California, and have been on the Temple Mount three times. On our first visit, my wife and I descended to the "off limits" East Gate made impassable with cinder blocks and many rows of graves outside the wall (whose religious "uncleanness" is intended in the logic of Muslim theology to prevent the Judeo-Christian Messiah from entering). It had been temporarily unguarded, but minutes later we got chased off by an angry Muslim guard with a sub-machine gun. On our third visit, I took another risk and accepted the invitation of an unofficial Muslim "guide" to tour the Al Aqsa Mosque (for a fee) which amounted to being escorted down the side of the building to observe the interior through open-air windows where hundreds of men were zealously performing their ritual prayers. Never in my visits to the Temple Mount did I see any overtly Jewish activity or obvious presence at all.
 
On two occasions, Anne and I also visited the Temple Institute, whose sole purpose is to build and equip the Third Temple. Their preparations are now complete: including the recreation of all the implements and artifacts prescribed by the Bible as well as the altar, the genetic identification and training of the Levitical priests in the Temple rituals, and even the acquisition and verification of the Red Heifer whose ashes are necessary for the final purification of the high priest. "On Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022, at 5 p.m., five perfect, unblemished red heifers arrived in Israel from the USA," reads a statement on the homepage of the group's website. All that remains is the building of the Third Temple itself.
 
In my perspective (and I've followed this issue very closely from outside the controlled-media bubble), the path to the Third Temple begins in Ukraine, where the U.S. and U.K. deliberately orchestrated the Russian invasion through relentless provocation in the form of creeping nuclear encirclement by NATO, culminating in the 2021/22 massing of forces on the Donbass border to finally crush the pro-Russian separatists there and eliminate Russia's security buffer zone. The "unprovoked" mantra of the lying media regarding Russia is just more deceptive spin by the "OBiden" criminal cartel, as more and more Christians and conservatives are finally beginning to realize. Accepting this hard truth in the face of intense non-stop war-propaganda is key to recognizing just how deep the criminal conspiracy runs.
 
The U.S./U.K. goals and justifications for provoking the war are numerous: from preventing a super-powerful Russian/German economic partnership from arising outside U.S./U.K. control (greatly facilitated by the Nord Stream pipelines), to covering-up the U.S. Uniparty criminal operations in Ukraine (including both billions in graft and the totally illegal bio-weapons labs), to the punishment of Putin and Russia for defying Obama's global LGBT juggernaut (designed to weaken the nations by unraveling their family-centered social fabric), to balkanizing Russia into multiple competing nations and plundering their natural resources (a centuries-old specialty of the British Empire inherited by the United States after WWII).
 
But the larger goal – the one related to the Third Temple – is the triggering of World War III to facilitate the One World Government by the U.N./WEF target date of 2030. Nothing would serve the globalist interests of geopolitical consolidation, population reduction, and the total subservience of the survivors better and faster than a global-economy-collapsing world war and its consequent famine and pestilence. It's all planned and plotted: the Great Collapse paves the way for the Great Reset.
 
A huge benefit of WWIII for Israel would be the opportunity to fully de-nuclearize the increasingly close Russian ally Iran and to weaken or eliminate all of the other "Death to Israel" players on the board without being blamed for starting the world war. (Russia is the elites' chosen scapegoat for that.) And, if WWIII is already happening for other reasons, there's no longer a necessity to preserve the status quo on the Temple Mount. If WWIII launches soon enough, the very people who most want to build the Third Temple will still be in power. How long would it take to build? I've heard rumor that there are (for redundancy) three fully-constructed Temple buildings in diverse locations ready to be airlifted in pieces by construction helicopters at a moment's notice. I don't know if it's true, but it is plausible.
 
On the prophetic side, the above scenario aligns closely with end-times theology, right down to the idea of the completed Third Temple serving as the symbol of world unity – "a house of prayer for all the nations" – when the season of world war gives way to a season of world peace in the transition from Collapse to Reset, and the still-unrevealed "peacemaker" Antichrist begins to pose as the Messiah.

 Do you praise God in everything? I know I’m very lax in praising God when I face trouble. My prayers in times of trouble are more apt to be prayers of panic rather than praise. That’s not something I’m proud of, and I’m trying to change my ways. I do thank Him and praise Him when I look back and it’s obvious that God had been with me all the time, but I had been so blinded by fear or I had allowed the troubles to cloud my mind. God is deserving of our praise in all things. The Psalms give many examples of the writers, especially King David, facing troubles and crying out to God. Then, as each psalm progresses, we see the writer praising God. The circumstances hadn’t changed, but the attitude of the psalmist had changed. Troubles are real, but so is God. When storms rage around us and we feel as if we are about to lose the battle, try singing praise to God. Let your soul sing with His praises!
 
 There was a young preacher in Sweden named Carl Boberg. He had a 2 mile walk from a church meeting to his home and was thinking of the beauty of God’s creation. The year was 1886, so when a thunderstorm rolled in, he had no choice but to continue walking as the rain came down and the thunder rolled. It must have been frightening with thunder rolling and lightning flashing. One can imagine the beauty of the Swedish countryside and the evidence of God’s power that Mr. Boberg saw on that walk. As he walked, he thought of God, and His power, and wrote the words to one of the most beloved songs ever written.

O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.
 
When a person looks at God’s creation through the eyes of a believer, there is so much to marvel at. Every star, every planet, the trees, animals, flowers, at everything around us. God created it all in 6 literal days. “And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night; he made the stars also.” Genesis 1:16. If the sun was closer to the earth, it would be much too hot for life to exist; any farther away, we would all freeze. God is all knowing and knew exactly the perfect placement of all things in the universe. His power is truly awesome. Have you ever looked closely at God’s creation? It’s miraculous that birds have feathers specifically designed to allow them to fly. Have you ever marveled over an eye? It dilates to let exactly enough light in to allow us to see, then contracts so not too much damages the eye. It’s no accident that our brain interprets the images and we can see all things around us. God is awesome, and worthy of our worship. We are to worship God, and not worship His creation. It’s good to be in awe of His creation, and many people say they find God in nature. It’s good to recognize God’s handiwork. Remember, though, that you need true faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ in order to obtain everlasting life.
 
When through the woods, and forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees.
When I look down, from lofty mountain grandeur
And see the brook, and feel the gentle breeze.
 
 If you’ve ever had the blessing of walking in a forest, or along the seashore, or climbed a mountain, you can understand how Mr. Boberg felt as he walked along the road to his home. Birds each have a song they sing and each song is beautiful. The view of the world from the top of a tall mountain is indescribable. God created a beautiful world for us to admire and see the evidence of His handiwork. David saw God all around him as he watched his flock of sheep, while God prepared him to be king over Israel. Although David saw the beauty in the world, he never worshiped the creation, but praised God. Even in times of trouble, he trusted God. While David was waiting to become king instead of King Saul, there was a battle between Saul’s army and the Philistines. The Philistines had a “champion” named Goliath who was a giant who stood over 9 feet tall. Saul’s army cowered in the rocks in fear of this giant. David had no fear and said he would fight Goliath. Saul saw that David was young and not a trained soldier, but David had been trained by God. “And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father’s sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: and I went out after him and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.” 1 Samuel 17:34-36. David’s home was in the peaceful hills around Bethlehem, but he was confident in his ability to kill Goliath because he had confidence that God was with him. “David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, God, and the LORD be with thee.” 1 Samuel 17:37. God’s power is displayed in nature, and will manifest in His people if we put our confidence in Him.
 
 And when I think, that God, His Son not sparing;
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.
 
 Of all the awesome wonders of nature, the greatest gift that God has given to humanity is His Son. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:16-18. I love these verses. Faith in Jesus takes our condemnation away. We all sin, and will continue to sin until we’re taken home. Because Jesus Christ willingly entered into His creation, and willingly went to the cross, all we need to do is believe in His death, burial, and resurrection and our condemnation is taken away. We cannot do enough good works to earn our salvation, but good works should be a result of our faith in Jesus. Anger, gossiping, pride, and more should be nailed to the cross. When we repent of sin, we are forgiven, but we must remember that repent means to turn away from. It’s one thing to say “I know I get angry, and I’m sorry”, and quite another to submit that anger humbly before Christ and turn away from it. That goes for all sin, not just anger. Jesus died for you and for me. He took the sin of the entire world upon Himself. He had no sin, but took mine and yours. O Lord, my God, thank You.
 
When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation,
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration,
And then proclaim: "My God, how great Thou art!"
 
 Everyone will one day enter into life eternal. You will either live eternally with Jesus in Heaven, or you will live eternally in the lake of fire. Only true faith in Jesus gives you eternal life instead of eternal death. Our bodies are mortal but our souls are eternal. For a Christian, our eternal future is bright. “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:8. Only faith in Jesus will allow you to live eternally with Him. Repent of your sin now. Turn away from it and turn to Christ. Witness to your friends and family. Your witness will be compromised if you continue in your sin. The decision is yours and it must be made while living in this life. We are all one heartbeat from eternity. On the other hand, the signs all indicate that we are very near to the moment of the Rapture when Jesus will call all Christians Home. “Behold, I shew you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” 1 Corinthians 15:51-52. If you haven’t given your life to Christ, you’ll be left on earth to face the Great Tribulation. It will be a time like no other time in history. Read Revelation beginning in chapter 6. The wrath that God pours out upon an unbelieving world is something you don’t want to be a part of. Accept Christ for salvation, and submit your life to Him. You will never regret it.

The first-century church, the one that Jesus started, turned their world upside down. They set their world on fire.
 
On the other hand, the church of today, which is much larger than the first-century church, has considerable resources and technology to use. Yet it seems as though the world is turning the church upside down.
 
Why aren’t we setting the world on fire? It’s because we need a revival. We need an awakening.
 
Speaking through the prophet Jeremiah, God said, “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls” (Jeremiah 6:16 NKJV).
 
Historically, revivals often began with one person who decided to do something. For example, in 1857, businessman Jeremiah Lanphier decided to start a prayer meeting on Fulton Street in downtown New York. Only a handful of people showed up to pray at the first meeting on September 23.
 
But Lanphier was persistent, and they kept meeting for prayer. Then something dramatic took place. The stock market crashed, and suddenly the prayer meeting grew. Then prayer meetings began popping up throughout New York City. And within six months, ten thousand people were gathering for prayer throughout the city, calling on the name of the Lord.
 
Within eighteen months of that first prayer meeting on Fulton Street, an estimated one million people had come to faith in Jesus Christ. It wasn’t orchestrated. It wasn’t a campaign planned by people. Rather, it was a work of God in which He poured out His Spirit. We need to see that today.
 
Any genuine revival will bring about repentance in the lives of the people, a change in the community, and evangelism en masse.
 
Jeremiah Lanphier was not a preacher. He wasn’t famous. He was an ordinary person who decided to pray. And you can do the same.
