The number one sign of the Second Coming is the convergence of all the signs Jesus and the prophets said to look for. Jesus said, "When you see all these things take place, look up! Your salvation draws near" (Luke 21:28). What are the things Jesus and the prophets said to look for? Israel back in the land (Jeremiah 23:7-8)... The Jewish people back in control of Jerusalem (Luke 21:24)... The Gospel being preached to the whole world (Matthew 24:14)... And more. Today, we see these signs. Because we do, we can be confident we live in the season of His return. But Jesus cited other signs too. So did the prophets. And we see those signs as well.
 
In fact, for much of 2022 we appeared to be on the verge of seeing the events of Revelation 6 kick-off at any moment with the real possibility of global war (Revelation 6:4), global hyperinflation (Revelation 6:6), and widespread famine from an escalating food crisis (Revelation 6:8). As 2022 draws to a close, what were the biggest prophetic news stories? Below is a list of what I believe were the top three:
 
1) Rumors of War
 
Jesus said rumors of war will precede His return (Matthew 24:6). 2022 brought war between Russia and Ukraine, but it also brought countless rumors of an escalating conflict with NATO as well as rumors of war in other parts of the world. In September, someone blew up the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 pipelines in what should be considered a major act of war. In years past, it would have been. But in 2022, it spent just a couple of days in the western media news cycle before being all but forgotten. Meanwhile, the United States and NATO continued to provide armaments and intelligence to Ukraine. Even worse, some reports claimed NATO had troops on the ground in Ukraine.
 
All these developments heightened tensions and led to rumors of an escalating conflict that would draw NATO into all-out war with Russia and spark a nuclear exchange. How bad did it get? While the U.S. defense readiness condition (DEFCON) level isn't public, some estimate we've been at DEFCON 3 - a level reached only three times in history - for nearly all of 2022. None of those previous instances lasted more than a few days, yet some estimate we've been at DEFCON 3 since February 28. This is the longest period of heightened readiness in the more than six decades of the alert system's existence. This means a strong case could be made we're closer to nuclear war now than we've ever been in the post-World War II period.
 
But the Russia/Ukraine conflict isn't the only source of rumors of war. For all of 2022, Taiwan has lived under the threat of imminent Chinese invasion. Time and again, China has sent ships into nearby waters and warplanes into Taiwanese airspace. U.S. Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, took a provocative trip to Taiwan, and the United States threatened to respond militarily to any Chinese aggression.
 
Meanwhile, we continue to hear rumors of war in other parts of the world - Israel/Iran, India/China, North Korea/South Korea, and countless other places. The sheer number of possible conflicts between major powers, many armed with nuclear weapons, arguably makes this the most dangerous time since World War II.
 
2) Inflation
 
Price inflation hit the world with a vengeance in 2022. World leaders blamed Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and it did play a role in some of the inflation. But poor government policies and currency printing were the true culprits. Pandemic lockdowns caused major supply chain disruptions, and government stimulus programs pumped currency into every corner of the economy. How much stimulus was created? In the United States, more than 40% of all the dollars in existence were created in the last 3 years. More currency units chasing fewer goods and services will inevitably lead to higher prices, and that's what we saw in 2022.
 
In Europe, decades of poor planning and naïve energy policies led to a surge in electricity and natural gas prices. In some cases, these prices rose as much as 20 times what they had been just one year before. This impacted all of European industry, leading to less production of energy intensive products and forcing many businesses to completely shut down. One energy intensive product, fertilizer, saw significant production cuts as European firms could no longer offer competitively priced products in the global marketplace. Lower supplies increased the global price of fertilizer and the result will likely be higher food prices in the years ahead as less fertilizer leads to lower crop yields.
 
In addition, I believe we're witnessing a collapse of the petro-dollar system which has dominated global trade for the past fifty years. In fact, I believe 2022 signaled we're in the last dying days of the entire global fiat currency system. The world is waking up to the fact pieces of paper and electronic ones and zeroes don't have the same value as tangible items such oil, natural gas, timber, aluminum, copper, gold, and silver. The BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) have signaled their intent to develop an alternative to America's SWIFT payment system as well as a commodity-backed currency to challenge the U.S. dollar. As 2022 draws to a close, a host of additional nations have expressed interest in joining the BRICS coalition. Among them are some of the most important producers of oil and natural gas on the planet - Nigeria, Iran, Argentina, Algeria, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia. If they succeed, and BRICS creates its own commodity-backed currency as an alternative to the U.S. dollar, it will destroy the U.S. dollar and most of the world's fiat currencies will plummet in value.
 
3) Central Bank Digital Currency
 
In 2022, governments all around the world telegraphed their support for central bank digital currency (CBDC). The Bank of International Settlements announced 9 out of 10 of the world's central banks were exploring digital currency, and more than half were developing CBDCs or experimenting with or testing rollouts.
 
For example, in mid-November, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York announced a 12-week proof-of-concept project to "explore the feasibility of an interoperable network of central bank wholesale digital money and commercial bank digital money." They aren't alone. In mid-December, it was revealed the Bank of England "will begin consultations on the design of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) which would act as a digital version of the pound sterling." Meanwhile, the Reserve Bank of India announced the second stage of testing for its own CBDC. After successfully running a pilot program at the wholesale level, they announced they will now test the digital rupee in a retail setting.
 
Meanwhile, the collapse of cryptocurrency exchange FTX led to calls for greater regulation of digital currencies from politicians all over the globe. Citing money laundering concerns, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren has vowed to crack down on the entire crypto industry. You can be certain whatever legislation results will benefit CBDCs at the expense of decentralized alternatives such as Bitcoin.
 
What to Look for in 2023
 
Expect these same trends to continue in 2023. What will 2023 bring? We can only guess, but I believe the probability is high we will see a global financial crisis, the collapse of a major market currency, widespread famine, and social unrest. In my latest video, I cover all of these in greater detail. For more than fifty years now, all the world's major currencies have been fiat currencies - meaning they have no intrinsic value or claim on anything of value. They only have purchasing power because people believe they do. That belief will significantly erode in 2023.
 
Combine these developments with countless others foretold in the Bible, and we can know the rapture, the Tribulation, and the Second Coming are now closer than they've ever been before. This is why the #1 event you should focus on is the return of our Savior. As we enter a new year, all the signs tell us, "Jesus is coming!"

This message is shorter than usual.
 
I have been blessed to have several members of my family visiting for Christmas.
 
Some live several hundred miles away, and I do not see them very often.
 
I tried to spend most of my time with them.
 
Concerning the New Year, the great Hal Lindsey wrote, “Christians can look forward to 2023 with renewed hope, but not because the world is getting better. It is not. More than ever before, it should be obvious that our hope is not in the mechanisms and programs of this world. It is in Christ alone.”
 
One, concerning the division of Israel: on Dec. 21, 2022, it was reported that a group of former Israeli military, security, and police officers warned that the EU is clandestinely collaborating with the Palestinian Authority (PA) to take over Judea and Samaria and merge it with other areas to make it part of a future Palestinian state.
 
The group warned that most of Judea and Samaria is strategic territory that is critical to the defense of Israel, and turning it over to the PA would threaten the security of Israel.
 
(Note: There will be Jews in Judea at the middle of the Tribulation Period. The Antichrist will defile the Temple at that time, and Jesus said, “Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains” (Matt. 24:16).
 
(My opinion: Satan wants to give Judea to the PA who would drive the Jews out if they could. That would prevent the fulfillment of prophecy, but God’s Word must be fulfilled.)
 
Two, concerning the division of Israel: on Dec. 22, 2022, it was reported that the EU has confirmed that it is actively working with and for the PA to protect the rights of the Palestinians and to ensure that Judea and Samaria are part of a future Palestinian state.
 
Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Israel has clearly notified all EU officials at every level of service in Israel that what the EU is doing is unacceptable.
 
(Note: Jewish annexation of most or all of Judea and Samaria will lead to an increase in violence and war.)
 
Three, concerning the Israeli government, dividing the land of Israel, Judea, and Samaria: on Dec. 22, 2022, Benjamin Netanyahu officially informed Israeli Pres. Herzog that he has put together a new government with 64 partners.
 
It will be the most religious government since Israel became a nation.
 
This is because Netanyahu agreed to make Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria part of the nation of Israel (called the Sovereignty Plan) to get the religious parties to join his government.
 
Netanyahu took office on Dec. 29, 2022, and world leaders (the EU, the PA, Iran, and others) are already denouncing his government.
 
(Note: This is why the Jews in Judea need to flee into the wilderness when the Antichrist defiles the Temple. The Antichrist will be from the EU, and he will try to kill the Jews in Judea. God will supernaturally protect those that flee, and they will be part of the terminal generation that will not pass away until everything is fulfilled. They will also be among the people with natural bodies that will repopulate the earth during the Millennium.)
 
Four, concerning the Israeli government, dividing the land of Israel, Judea and Samaria: on Dec. 24, 2022, it was reported that Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the U.S. are talking, and Netanyahu said he would suspend his annexation policies in Judea and Samaria for a normalization agreement with Saudi Arabia.
 
Netanyahu said, “If we have peace with Saudi Arabia, we are effectively going to bring an end to the Arab-Israeli conflict.”
 
Five, concerning the Israeli government, dividing the land of Israel, Judea: on Dec. 24, 2022, it was reported that Netanyahu reached an agreement with the religious parties that want him to annex Judea and Samaria, and they will not obstruct his efforts to reach a normalization agreement with Saudi Arabia.
 
It is important to remember that on Dec. 8, 2022, Danny Danon, Israel’s former ambassador to the UN, said: “I expect we’ll see an agreement between Israel and Saudi Arabia this year (in 2023).”
 
He based this upon information that he could not reveal.
 
(My opinion: It is obvious that things are changing almost daily, and we should know that at some point, there will be an agreement. After that, the Antichrist will confirm it, but Christians will not be here, and then the Temple will be rebuilt. Reports such as Netanyahu seeking a peace agreement with Saudi Arabia could indicate that the world is being prepared for the Tribulation Period. People need to make their salvation sure.)
 
Six, concerning violence: Netanyahu’s agreement with the religious parties includes the passage of a law to execute terrorists that harm the nation of Israel and its people.
 
The execution of Muslim terrorists will cause Muslim radicals and many world leaders to harm Israel any way they can.
 
Seven, concerning rain returning to Israel and the desert blooming at the end of the age: it has been a very dry year in Israel, but at least some meteorologists are saying that heavy rain is on the way.
 
Having said that, the Mediterranean Sea is on Israel’s west; the Red Sea is on Israel’s south; Israel has built desalination plants at Ashkelon (2005), Palmachim (2007), Hadera (2009), Sorek (2013), Ashkelon (2015), and two more are on the way (for a total of 7), so Israel has not hurt for water like other nations have in the Middle East.
 
Eight, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: God said Russia and her allies (Iran, etc.) will cover the land of Israel like a cloud (Ezek. 38:9).
 
Earlier this year (spring of 2022), Iran sent pilots to Russia to learn how to fly Russian Su-35 fighter jets.
 
In Sept. 2022, Israel said Iran’s purchase of the Su-35 is on the agenda.
 
On Dec. 9, 2022, it was reported that Iran is supplying drones to Russia for her war with Ukraine, and Russia has increased her supply of military equipment to Iran.
 
(My opinion: This growing partnership between Russia and Iran may indicate that the Battle of Gog and Magog is approaching, but no weapon formed against Israel will prosper.)
 
Nine, at the end of the age, God will cause Jews to return to Israel from all over the world.
 
On Dec. 23, 2022, it was reported that about 70,000 Jews returned to Israel from 95 nations in the first 11 months of 2022 (Jan. 1-Dec. 1, 2022).
 
Ten, concerning natural disasters: according to AccuWeather, on Dec. 21, 2022, the temperature in Cheyenne, Wyoming dropped 40 degrees in 30 minutes.
 
This was a national record.
 
Eleven, concerning natural disasters: on Dec. 23, 2022 (2 days before Christmas), Buffalo, NY received 1.98 in. of rain before it started snowing; AccuWeather predicted 4-6 feet of snow with wind gusts approaching 74 mph or greater by Christmas, visibility was zero for 16 hours, drifts were enormous, and there were many places that first responders could not get to.
 
This is record-breaking.
 
(Note: On Dec. 25, 2022, it was reported that the storm had killed at least 34 people in the U.S., millions of people were without natural gas and electricity, and almost 2 million travelers were stranded.)
 
(More: On Dec. 19, 2022, a town in Japan got 43.3 inches of snow in 24 hours.)
 
Twelve, the end of the age will be like the days of Noah when the wickedness of man was great.
 
On Dec. 25, 2022, it was reported that 135 businesses and property owners in the Tenderloin district of San Francisco have notified the mayor that they want a full and complete refund of all sales and property taxes because the city has abandoned its responsibility to keep the city safe.
 
Thirteen, concerning corruption in the FBI and the coverup of the Hunter Biden scandal: Special Counsel John Durham is in the final stages of preparing a report.
 
On Dec. 26, 2022, it was reported that a former Obama spokesperson, Matthew Miller, came out against releasing the entire report because it may unfairly tarnish some members of the FBI.
 
From the article, I got the impression that the report will go Merrick Garland and the DOJ where findings that the Biden administration does not want the public to know can be redacted.
 
Put another way, it looks like the Durham investigation is going to be turned into a waste of time and taxpayer money.
 
Fourteen, concerning corruption in the FBI: on Dec. 27, 2022, it was reported that released Twitter files clearly confirm that the FBI and others were actively aiding and abetting executives at Twitter during and since the 2020 election.
 
(Note: A different report, dated Dec. 26, 2022, notes that Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum (WEF) is now recommending that interested people keep up with WEF activities on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, WeChat, and Weibo. It looks like Twitter is now being censored by people that are stealing elections to gain control of governments and establish a world government.)
 
Fifteen, concerning wickedness, deceit, and population reduction: on Dec. 27, 2022, it was reported that since the Covid vaccination campaign began 2 years ago, 1,011 athletes that took the jab have suddenly died, and many officials and commentators believe the number is much higher than reported.
 
(Special note: I wish everyone a blessed, happy, and prosperous New Year. I also wish that everyone that has not truly accepted Jesus as their Saviour will do so immediately, but know that salvation is in Christ alone.)
 
Finally, are you Rapture Ready?
 
If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

At the beginning of a new year, we usually take stock. We look back on the previous year and ahead to the new one. To us, the future is obscure. But to God, everything is present tense. He sees future and past as a single, all-encompassing “now.” So, when we wonder about that which lies ahead, we can look to His word. What has He told us?
 
He gave many promises and revealed much about our futures as individuals. He also laid out what’s coming for planet earth. That does not mean we can give the precise geopolitical conditions of 2023. Bible prophecy is not arranged in 365-day intervals. But the Bible gives a great deal of information about the time just before Christ’s return. And that fits what we now see. By looking at where the world is and where it will be, we can have a good idea about the road we are on and where it will lead.
 
Here are a few trends that will probably apply to 2023. Some are encouraging, but many are not — at least not in the short term.
 
Widespread mental chaos. As people turn from truth, they are left with lies (Romans 1:18-32). The world seems bent on turning away from God, and toward Satan. Jesus said of the devil, “He is a liar, and the father of lies” (John 8:44, NASB). Following a liar sets people adrift on a sea of confusion, darkness, and despair. In talking about the last days, Jesus repeatedly warned that it would be a time of deception — i.e., fake news, gaslighting, hype, duplicity, and fraud.
 
Confusion. When people lose the ability to discern truth from error, it affects everything. They question basic and obvious concepts, such as the differences between “boys and girls.” Many begin to see their Christian and Jewish neighbors as dangerous, leading to increased antisemitism and persecution of Christians.
 
A darker world. Chaos of the mind leads to anguish which in turn leads to more drug abuse — just as the Bible predicts. Drugs feed into increasing levels of crime and violence. Trying to protect itself from crime and violence, society further restricts human rights. Lawlessness leads to the loss of freedom, and Jesus said the last days would be a time of lawlessness.
 
Opportunities for witness. Drowning people long for buoyancy and stability. The followers of Jesus may be increasingly shunned by society, but they will have increased opportunities for personally sharing the Gospel with others.
 
Dying churches. The real Church will not and cannot die. But there are organizations everywhere that claim Christ, even as they reject His word. These will fall deeper and deeper into darkness.
 
The real Gospel of Jesus stands in stark contrast to the increasing ugliness of a Satanic world order. 2023 will provide unique opportunities to express God’s love by sharing His word.

The lawlessness so glaringly apparent in many 21st-century children is not just a recent issue. Having said this, we do now live in a time where evil is celebrated and promoted while godliness, holiness and goodness are treated with contempt. In times past it seemed that people preferred to do evil, but it was often under cover of darkness. They were not so brazen and open about their sin: today sin is championed and praised.
 
That is a pretty bleak commentary on the condition of sinful mankind that rejects God. The Apostle Paul has a number of commentaries pertaining to evil that he highlights, one of which is found in 2 Timothy 3:1-4: “The wicked freely parade and prance about while evil is praised throughout the land”. The essence of these texts is this: people not only sin and do evil, but they take great pride in doing so and like to promote – and parade – their wickedness.
 
That certainly seems to accurately describe the situation in which we find ourselves today. Indeed, as the perfect example of this, simply take any pride march or protest by the secular left, be it a pro-death event or a pro-sexual immorality march. It is all about an in-your-face showcasing of debauchery, perversion and evil. They love to spit in God’s face as they celebrate their preferred lifestyles. The pro-death crowd certainly provides plenty of examples. Imagine seeing a young woman holding a placard on which are the words “I’d rather be a murderer than a mother” –and parading it with such pride and with a perverse grin on her face. This is a level of sickness that needs more than a natural explanation. There is surely some very real demonic influence here.
 
One must wonder how some people can be so filled with such hatred and bitterness. Most of them don’t understand reason and are not interested in having a polite discussion with you. Most of them are out to serve as the devil’s shock troopers, spewing hideously evil and vile things as they mock God whilst hating His people. We must pray for them and put on the whole armor of God as we seek to interact with them. Simply trying to be ’nice’ and smiling a lot is not a successful solution. This is full-on spiritual warfare. Jesus did not cast out demons by trying to be winsome and nuanced. He knew what he was up against and took steps accordingly, and as the days become darker and darker we can expect more of this sort of evil being displayed around us. We can expect more such ugly confrontations. We can expect more people to parade their sin like Sodom, such as the ones quoted in the following paragraphs. That is the world Scripture has told us to expect.
 
New York Governor Kathy Hochul – a Democrat who succeeded scandal-plagued Andrew Cuomo in 2021 – has announced the awarding of $13.4 million in state grants to 37 New York abortion providers during a news conference held at Judson Memorial Church near Washington Square Park in Manhattan. The October 12 conference received light press, and even fewer news outlets reported her quotes about God being on the side of abortion or the fact the conference was held in a church. She congratulated “everyone involved in this congregation for inspiring us and letting us know that God is out there on our side as we continue to make sure that women have the rights that are God-given rights” according to a report in the Albany Update, an electronic newsletter from New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms. “Light does prevail over darkness” Hochul said. “And while there has been a dark pall cast over our nation in the aftermath of the overturning of Roe v. Wade, let that light continue to shine right here in the State of New York.”
 
Standing behind a podium with a placard that read “We Are NY: A Safe Harbor for All” and “Protecting Abortion Rights,” Hochul called access to legal abortion a moral responsibility. “We’ll fight like hell to make sure that no one ever touches these rights right here. And we’ll be that beacon of hope. We’ll be that safe harbor for women all across this nation”. This is the second time since Roe v. Wade was overturned in June that the state of New York has released money from the newly-formed Abortion Provider Support Fund.
 
New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms (NYCF) responded in its newsletter that Governor Hochul has “embraced wicked lies” about the character and nature of God, human life and the meaning of compassion.
 
In Isaiah 5:20 God says: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil;that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter”. Romans 1:32 also speaks of God’s wrath against sinners who: “knowing the judgement of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them”.
 
Are some people such horrific and evil sinners that they are beyond being saved? Are there such diabolical monsters out there who have committed such repulsive and reprehensible sins that they cannot be saved? Are some people simply irredeemable? Most Christians would answer these questions with a resounding no. They would argue that Jesus is able to save anyone, even the most demonized sinners.
 
We have plenty of such stories from the past two thousand years, but while we must endeavor to remain positive we must also remember the words the Lord spoke to the Apostle John: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers …. and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death”. (Revelation 21:8)

Many say that the Constitutional Republic of the US is over because of the election chicanery and censorships. By those standards, they may have a point. But let us not forget that the Constitution remains intact. Its precepts enforceable. Let us also remember that God is our witness; that Christ is our salvation; that the Holy Spirit is our comforter and guide. The Republic should not define you. In fact, you should define the Republic. And that, my brothers and sisters, is the reason we are faced today with historic consequences of a revolutionary complacency. We are looking for solutions, but there are no solutions in politics, only compromise. And compromise is so systemic that it is as an evil upon our land.
 
Over the past 21 years, I have grown to know many of Daily Jot subscribers very well. You are the active ones. You are, as Christ said in Matthew 5:13-14, “the salt of the earth. You are the light of the world.” You have written letters. You have made phone calls. You have attended prayer meetings and prayer conference calls. You pray unceasingly. You speak truth wherever and whenever the opportunity. Still, with all this, the Republic continues to decline. And we look for many reasons—the killing of the unborn; the acceptance of same sex marriage; the promotion of sexual immorality in schools; the censorship of God in the public square; the abomination of the dishonest scale—which is found in politics, elections, government, the church, entertainment, media, and business dealings.
 
But these are not things that you practice. In fact, much of this you and I do not have any control over. We are at our wits end because all of our prayer and acts seem to come to little. Well, it is time to become more strategic. I have written for a long time that the condition of our nation reflects the condition of the “church.” So long as the “church” in general is focused on extra-biblical, emotional and self-indulgent feel good religion, this nation and the world for that matter, will continue on its path into darkness. No doubt, the prophecies of the end time foretell this darkness as Christ said in Matthew 24:38, “For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until that day Noah entered into the ark.” Many believe we are in the days of great apostacy.
 
We cannot allow ourselves to be defined by politicians. You see, as is written in 1 Peter 2:9, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people: that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” We are the nation. There is still a Christian majority in this nation. Trouble is, most do not even understand what it is to be a Christian because they haven’t heard the true Word of God. Study God’s Word. Hold accountability, especially with the “church.” Overcome evil with good. Be encouraged that you are the light in this present darkness so let your light shine.

If you were to sum up your life right now, your purpose on this earth, what truths would you want to emphasize to your friends and family? What regrets would you have?
 
In Acts 20 the apostle Paul gave his final words to the elders of the church he had started in Ephesus. He essentially was summing up what really mattered to him in life. Among them was this statement: “But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God” (verse 24 NKJV).
 
There’s an important word in Paul’s statement: “joy.” Paul was saying, “I’m looking back on my life and on what I have done here, and one word seems to sum it up well: joy.” This word could be translated “exceedingly happy.” Joy is an operative word in the life of the Christian.
 
Maybe you’re thinking that things must have been going reasonably well for Paul. But look at the preceding verses, where Paul said, “And see, now I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there, except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me” (verses 22–23 NKJV).
 
Paul knew what adversity was. He knew what suffering and hardship were. But in the midst of it all, he was saying there is joy.
 
Sometimes people think Christians live the most boring lives conceivable. But the fact is that the happy life is the holy life, the life lived for God.
 
Jesus not only promised us life beyond the grave, but He also promised us a dimension of life on earth that is worth living.
