Anxiety is building in this nation, and for that matter, all over the world. Fear grips the average human being, as they see events that they have no control over. It doesn't matter if it's in Greece, Spain, Portugal in the EU or right here in the USA, men are fearful. They know that this is an unprecedented time of turmoil and signs of impending doom. Men are behaving like animals and evil grows exponentially, as we grow closer and closer to the end of this age as we witnessed crimes of unspeakable horror in the recent news coverage of the rampage of demonic possessed individuals, who executed the innocent in grocery stores, theaters, and shopping malls. The culture has gone mad.
 
The powers that be look for a culprit to blame. They blame guns, they blame the social haters, and they blame those that hold onto those guns and their religion, namely Christian Conservatives. They wish to infringe on our Constitutionally given rights that were written by men who feared God, and knew that any government, even theirs that they were forming could become despotic.
 
We see the sin of homosexuality with it's push for same sex marriage making huge strides for public approval. We continue to see abortion unabated and Planned Parenthood boasting that they terminated the life of another baby, every 94 seconds last year.
 
WE see a government that has grown corrupt, and I pray the present administration is replaced, as the downhill slide grows worse by the day. Congress has become impotent to stay the powers who are moving this country into a more Socialistic-Communistic form of a New World Order. So more often, they are promoting it.
 
It was reported that the brainiac just keep printing more and money, so inflation is rising exponentially and they have reversed the strides to “Make America Great Again” and destroy American jobs and the southern border is being flooded with illegal immigrants who bring disease, drugs and human sex trafficing. The goal from what I read is to replace currency with a digital form of payment so that every man and woman can be monitored of what they do, where they go and what they buy....This promotes a One World Government.
 
We could go on and on mentioning the symptoms of the economic collapse, as well as the societal collapse of this nation and reaching all around the world of nations having the exact same problems, just more of them. But that is in an other sermon you can read on this site. But the point here is, there is signs in the heavens over the earth that point to disasters that are coming. We saw that in not too distant past, and now we see signs that point to a possible fulfillment of the Feast of Trumpets this fall. We saw a "total eclipse" of the sun that was only be for the central USA. It has never happened before. Is it a sign of foreboding of the coming wrath of God? Will it begin to happen this fall? We don't know, but this sign of the eclipse is but another sign in the heavens that 'something" big is about to happen...we just pray and watch. Then we read about all the pestilences that have invaded earth and the natural disasters of volcanoes all over the earth coming to life...earthquakes increasing with every month that passes...last year we had 7 earthquakes of 7.0 magnitude or greater and we have already seen that many in the first few months of this year. News speaks of locusts that ravage the countryside, southwest drought that has caused massive dust storms in the USA. Hearing about Ebola in Africa, Bird flu in Russia, not to mention the Covid-19 hype that has gotten every person alive fearful for their existence (save it is about control of the population to do what the government says). I believe that this is the run-up to the coming Mark of the Beast that will control everyone on this planet.,
 
MAKE YOUR FOUNDATION THE “ROCK”
 
It's a exciting time to live in, but anxiety producing for those who don't have a firm foundation on where their strength lies. I have brothers and sisters who email me with searching questions on how to prepare for what is coming. I am a firm believer and have always been that God allows nothing to come against His chosen children, the church, the bride of Christ, a people taken for His name, unless it is for their benefit and their spiritual maturity. I have also come to believe that God is not interested in our comfort, but in our being ready to reign and rule with Jesus Christ for a 1000 years, and on into eternity. When the cares of this life seem to weigh in on any of us, and I'm not immune, I counsel my congregation to look to the Bible for their strength and their foundation of coping. I have been telling each of them, when things get rough around your community, your town, or your state, then it is a time to grab onto the promises of God and remind Him of those promises. OH, He knows what He promised, but He wants to hear that you believe that He will do what He said. Inspiration and strength has always been drawn from two chapters in the bible for me, in particular, but not exclusive, as the whole bible is designed to encourage and to lead us into righteous living, but for me Psalm 91 and Romans chapter 8, have special promises of protection and looking forward to our heavenly home. Let's take a moment to draw strength from these two chapters that have distinct promises of divine protection and Christian hope for a glorious future. Let us take a few verses from each, but I encourage you to read these chapters prayerfully and without doubt. I ask that you to claim those promises, as God cannot lie. He just wants you to reach out to Him and draw nigh to Him.
 
2” I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.”(Psalms 91:2-6)
 
Just as a hen gathers her chicks during a storm, or for protection against terrors surrounding them, our Father wishes to draw us unto Himself and protect us. Terror that is all around us (ie). Islam terrorist, Washington bureaucrats, single pay government insurance, and even widening debt and deficit spending, not to mention a society in decay, we have no need to be afraid. Why? God is in control and His Word will not come back to Him void. He said it, it will be done!
 
MATTHEW HENRY SPEAKS ON PSALM 91
 
Matthew Henry has a great commentary on Psalm 91, and I would like to share it with you.
 
"He that by faith chooses God for his protector, shall find all in him that he needs or can desire. And those who have found the comfort of making the Lord their refuge, cannot but desire that others may do so. The spiritual life is protected by Divine grace from the temptations of Satan, which are as the snares of the fowler, and from the contagion of sin, which is a noisome pestilence. Great security is promised to believers in the midst of danger. Wisdom shall keep them from being afraid without cause, and faith shall keep them from being unduly afraid. Whatever is done, our heavenly Father's will is done; and we have no reason to fear. God's people shall see, not only God's promises fulfilled, but his threatenings. Then let sinners come unto the Lord upon his mercy-seat, through the Redeemer's name; and encourage others to trust in him also."
 
AS you read this marvelous chapter of God's Word, it should give you hope that you are not alone, but He walks right there with you. You may become a little fearful with the latest report of a disaster or a shooting, or crime in your area, open your bible and read this chapter and claim it in its promised message. I leave my family bible open at all times to this chapter, to remind God that I trust His Word, and His protection at any time. The bible is full of promises that tell the truth about God's protection to the true believer. Many Christians wring their hands and wonder what is coming down the pike for us all. But you know what? It doesn't matter, as He will prepare you for whatever comes. This side of the tribulation, we could see many natural disasters in this country of the USA, as it's happening all over the world. Many people will die, as many have already died. Some needlessly, but some because they have shaken their fist at God and God just might have removed His hand of protection from them and allowed them to go their own way and their demise was chance and circumstance. Liberal thinkers who don't need God, have no one to turn to when the times get rough, unless they repent of their sinful deeds. But not so with the believer in Jesus Christ. Going on in this same chapter of Psalms, the Psalmist writes a promise given to a child of God.
 
7 "A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling."(Psalms 91:7-10)
 
Wow, has it ever made you wonder why evil is all around you, but it hasn't touched your life? How many stories could I print off testimonies of men and women in harm's way were spared because they called out to God? But my brother and sister, there is a small catch to that protection. See Verse 1 of this chapter that started this sermon. You must be right next to His altar, under His shadow, under His wings, and staying close to God. You can't be out willy nilly living the life of this world, feeding your flesh with diverse pleasures, as that is a sure invitation for God to reprimand you and allow evil to enter your life. But it doesnt have to be so. God wishes to be with you in times of trial and even persecution.
 
 11 "For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation."(Psalms 91:11-16)
 
Whatever happens, nothing shall hurt the believer; though trouble and affliction befall, it shall come, not for his hurt, but for good, though for the present it be not joyous but grievous. Those who rightly know God, will set their love upon him. They, by prayer constantly call upon him. His promise is that he will in due time deliver the believer out of trouble, and in the mean time be with him in trouble. The Lord will manage all his worldly concerns, and preserve his life on earth, so long as it shall be good for him. For encouragement in this he looks unto Jesus. He shall live long enough; till he has done the work he was sent into this world for, and is ready for heaven. Who would wish to live a day longer than God has some work to do, either by him or upon him? A man may die young, yet be satisfied with living. But a wicked man is not satisfied even with long life. At length the believer's conflict ends; he has done for ever with trouble, sin, and temptation.
 
Did you catch that? Nothing can come against us, unless God allows it for our personal growth in spirit and maturity within His coming Kingdom. The devil can't touch us if we are within His protective circle, which is right up against His altar, His Throne. He may test our metal, but He will not allow anything to adversely effect us that He doesn't know that will make us stronger in Him.
 
My brothers and sisters, what do we have to fear? Nothing is the answer. Getting back to a little bit of the anxiety that people email me about. Who do you trust? We can't trust our government any more. We can't trust our elected officials or political parties, not even the Tea Party. We can't trust people in general, especially if you get into the big cities. Men have seem to become more ferocious in this desire to inflict pain and lash out at others. Was a time you could hitch hike down the interstate, which I never encouraged even my brother who thought it was a great way to travel, but times have changed. You don't hitchhike, and you don't pick up hitchhikers. Society has changed and not for the better. There is a large number of things you just don't do anymore, because society has become corrupt in general and your own unsaved neighbor will sell you for a ten bucks. That's a sad commentary, but society has proven it to be so. The love for one another has grown cold. Only the True Believer supports one another in love and genuine concern for their good.
 
A GLORIOUS FUTURE JUST OVER THE HORIZON
 
But we have a glorious promise that is found in Romans chapter 8 and the most favorite part of that chapter is from verse 28 to the end of the chapter. Can you not see that we have nothing to fear? Reread the opening verses of this sermon and see that God only allows good to come to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Read the whole chapter, but focus in on the last of this chapter..Look at v. 31-32,
 
31 "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all thing.
33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us."(Romans 8:31-34)
 
He will give us all things, whatsoever we ask believing, He will do it if being in our best interest and in His divine Will. He knows what is good for us, will protect us, and what will make us grow as Christian people. He then ends the chapter will a powerful promise, that proves that we will never be alone in this life, as long as we stay close to Him.
 
38 "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."(Romans 8:38-39)
 
Again, I ask you, what have we to fear? Nothing! God will lead us into green pastures, as the Psalmist wrote in chapter 23.
 
 23 "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. (we lack for nothing due to His Goodness)
 
 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.( He blesses us with needs for our everyday lives)
 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. (He is forever by our sides)
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. (even though trouble is afflicting us, He will bring us through it and we will be better for it)
 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. (We cannot contain the blessings of God)
 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever." ( the blessing of the Lord are plentiful until He brings us home to receive a greater reward for being steadfast and faithful)(Psalms 23-1-6)
 
PROMISES NOT MADE TO THE WORLD
 
Now my reader, I must deal with the negative side of not following what I've outlined up to now. In past sermons, I have ventured into the demise of our country, as we have gone the way of Sodom and Gomorrah and certain destruction will come down on our heads, or God would have to apologize to Sodom for bringing down fire and brimstone about them. As the world grows worse and worse, and our home is on the horizon and we wait for the trumpet sound and Jesus to say “Come up here,” we may see the symptoms of judgment beginning to come to pass on this nation and all nations around the world. We can expect more “accidents”, more natural disasters, more crime, and more moral and economic woes coming fast and furious. These break neck events will make men's hearts very anxious, but they haven't seen anything yet! God told us though the apostle John what is coming upon mankind, when the wrath of God is poured out on the rebellious nations. But never fear, my brethren, God has not appointed us to wrath...He said so in 1st Thessalonians
 
9 " For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him."(1st Thessalonians 5:9-10)
 
This is a clear indication of the church being removed out of the way, before God's wrath is released on this earth in all earnest. We may see, and it is not revealed how much we will see, but we WILL NOT see the destruction of 3/4 of every living thing that grows on this planet....that's every tree, green grass, sea creatures and the water they live in, animals, and including 3/4 of mankind to the tune of 6 billion people slaughtered in divine judgment. The horrific depiction of the carnage would make any sane man's hair stand up on the back of his neck and head. Evil will reign supreme on this earth for 7 short years with the worst of the evil in the last 3.5 years, known as the Great Tribulation. Men, women and children will die by the thousands into the millions in a very short time.
 
Can you image the pain and suffering endured by mankind during those awful years? What's going on now will look like a picnic compared to that time. Some of the graphics descriptions of men's pain and suffering include being stung by demons repeatedly for 5 months begging to die, but they cannot. Another sign is great sores that come upon men who have the mark of the beast on their foreheads and heat that scorches men to death........
 
8 “And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.”(Revelation 16:8-11)
 
Of course great heat will produce great famine, as everything will die. But men will curse God, instead of repenting of this wickedness.
 
Great hailstones raining down on the earth that weigh upwards of 100# each...unheard of? Get ready,
 
"From the sky huge hailstones of about a hundred pounds each fell upon men. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible."(Revelation 16:21)
 
You want to get yourself in a funk, and totally depressed, read the 16th chapter of Revelation. This imagery is easy to understand and is not symbolism at all, but will be a literal event to come to all who dwell upon the earth in wickedness. As had been written, the time of the end is close at hand, when I say the end, I mean the end of the age of Grace. God's grace will have run out. God's people have suddenly vanished from the face of the earth. Don't believe it? Wait around, should you be so foolish, I guarantee that you will, as the bible has been 100% accurate into modern times. There is no reason to believe that the events depicted in Revelation will not be fulfilled in their entirety. Woe to you if you are still here.
 
12 “And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.”(Revelation 16:12-15)
 
As my sister, Donna Wasson once wrote, “Are you in, or are you out?”. You ask how do I get in? Oh, that's easy. All it takes is faith and repentance. Faith in what?
 
16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."(John 3:16-18)
 
Realize that you are a sinner, as it is written, Romans,
 
20 “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;” (Romans 3:20-25)
 
Accept His free offer of grace and mercy, Ephesians 2,
 
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast."(Ephesians 2:8-9)
 
God through His Son is offering you the keys to eternal life, the proverbial golden ring on the merry-go round...reach and out and take it. It's entirely free. All you have to do is admit you need it, and Him. Believe He died for you and for me and was raised to life by God our Father after 3 days and lives today and is coming back for His people chosen for His name. When this happens then my friend, if you do not possess the “golden ring” of Jesus Christ, the Tribulation is your reward of 7 years of literal hell on earth...not meant to scare, but to warn you of your condition and the remedy. Because, if you are sensitive to the times that are coming upon us, you know within your mind and you heart, that a Blood Moon was Risen and a full eclipse came, which could be full of the wrath of God. It's that dread you feel within your spirit, that pulls within your mind and threatens to send you into despair and madness. I beseech you, to present yourself to Christ a broken and contrite heart asking, no pleading for forgiveness. And you know what, He will grant the request for all eternity.
 
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:8-13)

With the Biden administration seemingly keen to recommence negotiations with Tehran over its nuclear program, fresh evidence is emerging that Iran's regime is up to its old tricks by attempting to conceal key elements of the program from UN inspectors.
 
Iran has a long and undistinguished history of seeking to conceal the existence of key elements of its nuclear program dating back to 2002, when a group of Iranian dissidents first revealed the existence of the Natanz nuclear enrichment site.
 
Enrichment is a crucial process in producing weapons-grade nuclear material, and the fact that Iran managed to build the massive underground facility about 100 miles to the south of Tehran in secret was the first major evidence that the regime was developing nuclear weapons.
 
Since then there have been many similar instances of Iran seeking to conceal the existence of key facilities from the outside world, such as the Fordow facility which was constructed during the late 2000s under a mountain to protect it from attack.
 
Now evidence has emerged that, with the Biden administration indicating that it wants to resume negotiations with Tehran on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the nuclear deal negotiated by former US President Barack Obama, Iran has resumed its attempts to conceal vital components from UN inspection teams.
 
According to recent Western intelligence reports, the equipment Iran is trying to conceal includes machinery, pumps and spare parts for centrifuges, the sophisticated machines used for enriching uranium to weapons grade.
 
In addition, materials such as carbon fiber, which can be used in the production of advanced centrifuges, are also being stored at secret sites in Iran administered by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which has overall responsibility for Iran's nuclear program.
 
Intelligence officials believe the material, which is supposed to be declared to UN inspectors under the terms of JCPOA, is being stored in 75 shipping containers, which are regularly transported around the country to sites administered by the Atomic Energy Agency of Iran (AEOI). Satellite intelligence images show that at least some of the containers have been stored at the AEOI's uranium conversion facility at Isfahan.
 
The latest evidence that Iran is continuing to conceal vital elements of its nuclear program from the outside world suggest that, even if there is a resumption of negotiations on Tehran's nuclear program, the regime has little genuine interest in complying with the terms of any future deal.
 
It also lends weight to concerns that Iran has already resumed work on its nuclear weapons program, which US intelligence officials say was in existence until at least 2003, and that the regime has continued to retain key elements of the program in storage despite signing the JCPOA in 2015.
 
In 2018, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in an address to the UN General Assembly, accused Iran of storing key elements of its nuclear program at secret locations in Tehran.
 
One of the biggest criticisms of the 2015 deal is that it did not require Iran to provide an explanation for traces of weapons grade uranium that were discovered at numerous sites during routine inspections by UN officials, as well as providing details of other aspects of the nuclear weapons program, such as the development of ballistic missiles and detonators for nuclear warheads.
 
These were some of the reasons that prompted the Trump administration to withdraw from the nuclear deal in 2018 and reimpose punitive sanctions against Tehran.
 
Iran has responded by intensifying its non-compliance with the JCPOA, to the extent that the ayatollahs recently announced that they were increasing their uranium stockpiles while increasing the enrichment process to 20 percent, which far exceeds the 3.67 percent limit stipulated by the accord, and is a small technical step away from producing weapons-grade material.
 
In another provocative move, Iran's conservative-dominated parliament has ordered the government to start limiting some inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the UN-sponsored body responsible for monitoring Iran's nuclear activities.
 
The move by the Iranian parliament comes after the IAEA published a report revealing that last summer, inspectors found uranium particles at two Iranian nuclear sites that Iran tried to block access to.
 
The Biden administration has repeatedly said it will return to the nuclear deal if Iran first returns to compliance with the JCPOA. Iran demands the US lift sanctions first, putting the two sides at a stalemate.
 
The stand-off between Washington and Tehran is likely to continue for as long as Iran demonstrates that it has no genuine interest in ending its quest for nuclear weapons.
 
The Biden Administration nevertheless looks about to try the bribery route yet again -- presumably with the same result as before. Recently, South Korea agreed to release $7 billion in "frozen assets" to Iran "following consultations with the United States."
 
The Biden Administration has also apparently been trying to sidestep legally-required congressional approval to funnel more money to Iran and other dictatorships through a new International Monetary Fund program, "special drawing rights" (SDRs). Through them, Iran would receive an additional $4.5 billion, usable in other currencies. According to the Wall Street Journal, which referred to the program as "Special Dollars for Dictators", Iran's leadership will most likely use these newfound billions to strengthen domestic repression, to intensify regional adventurism -- Iran's proxy Houthi rebels in Yemen have already targeted a "large Saudi oil field" -- and to escalate their nuclear program still further.

Realizing not all who read this commentary will agree, I preface my thoughts with the obvious. Yours truly is ideologically (politically and socially speaking) quite conservative. Many can’t, or won’t, agree with my thinking here—nor will most who think in liberal (so-called progressive) terms even care to read what I have to say here. Nonetheless, what we have witnessed and written about over the past months and years is part of the factual historical record, and is, therefore, fair fodder for examination.
 
Former President Donald Trump labeled mainstream news media “fake news,” as we heard day after day of his administration. As it turned out, everything they accused him of did, in fact, for the most part, turn out to be totally fake. Two impeachment attempts were proven full of distortions and prevarications that to this day have never been corrected by any of the mainstream news outlets—at least, none I’ve read or heard.
 
As a matter of fact, some of the lies are being reprised to fit the evil the minions wish to perpetrate in order to establish their desired global order.
 
The Russia collusion hoax, the alleged illegal dealings with the Ukrainian government, and myriad other such falsehoods all proved to be without any supporting evidence whatsoever.
 
Those from politics, government, and the so-called deep state, who opposed and hated Donald Trump, when called before congressional committees, said under oath that they found no evidence of what they accused him of doing. However, when they went before news cameras and microphones throughout mainstream news outlets, they claimed furiously that there was overwhelming evidence of Trump’s wrongdoing. This they did while not under oath. They knew that their friends in the mainstream news wouldn’t hold them accountable for truth-telling. That was the true collusion over the past five years while Trump was lambasted from every angle.
 
Now, this is in no way to say that one party is totally innocent of lying to us and the other is totally guilty of lying to us. There is enough truth about the lying to go around in regard to applying that accusation to all governmental and political entities in this nation and around the world.
 
However, there can be little doubt that the deliberate deception being foisted within the last decade by those who would rule over us rather than serve us has ramped up exponentially. And, this is prophetically in line with Jesus’ own words in foretelling that there will be great deception as the time of His Second Coming nears. The Apostle Paul forewarned that evil men and seducers would get worse and worse, didn’t he? Deception and lies are synonymous, aren’t they?
 
One judge seems to be almost a lone voice in pointing out the danger of this deception and lies that permeate every facet of life in America—particularly regarding the media-political colluding going on. Here are some excerpts of what is reported in that regard.
 
A federal judge this week said that the Democrat Party is close to controlling the press as he detailed what he described as shocking bias against Republicans.
 
D.C. Circuit Court Judge Laurence Silberman outlined his opposition to the Supreme Court’s key decision in 1964 in New York Times v. Sullivan, which has since protected many media outlets from lawsuits.
 
Silberman, a Reagan appointee, wrote that the ruling is “a threat to American Democracy” and must be overturned.
 
“The increased power of the press is so dangerous today because we are very close to one-party control of these institutions. Our court was once concerned about the institutional consolidation of the press leading to a ‘bland and homogenous’ marketplace of ideas. It turns out that ideological consolidation of the press (helped along by economic consolidation) is the far greater threat,” he continued.…
 
Two of the three most influential papers (at least historically), The New York Times and The Washington Post, are virtually Democratic Party broadsheets. And the news section of The Wall Street Journal leans in the same direction. The orientation of these three papers is followed by the Associated Press and most large papers across the country (such as the Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, and Boston Globe).
 
Nearly all television—network and cable—is a Democratic Party trumpet. Even the government-supported National Public Radio follows along,” he added.…“It should be borne in mind that the first step taken by any potential authoritarian or dictatorial regime is to gain control of communications, particularly the delivery of news. It is fair to conclude, therefore, that one-party control of the press and media is a threat to a viable democracy. It may even give rise to countervailing extremism,” Silberman concluded. It continues to be demonstrated that we’re given daily doses of fake news by a colluding mainstream news-political power center. The danger in this all-out inculcation to convince us to accept the lies and distortions goes far beyond what Judge Silverman proposes. It is a profound spiritual danger far beyond a mere political or cultural, societal, danger.
 
The nation and world are being conditioned to accept the suggestions, edicts, and commands of the greatest liar of all times, for when he steps onto the stage of history, Antichrist will regurgitate the words of Satan, whom Jesus called the “father of lies.”
 
The Lord, in rebuking those who would not recognize the truth He spoke to them, said:
 
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he spiked a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44)
 
Satan is the father of fake news. He puts forth distortions and lies diametrically opposite of God, who cannot lie (Hebrews 6:17).
 
The overtly observable truth that these darkening times are filled with satanic inculcation involving deception is proof that the time of Christ’s call to the Church must indeed be near.

The Holy Spirit has been at work from the very beginning of time. We know of the Holy Trinity, but we talk more about God the Father and God the Son. It seems we know little about God the Holy Spirit. The first mention of God is in the first verse of Scripture. “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” Genesis 1:1-2. The word “God” comes from the Hebrew word Elohim, which is a plural masculine noun. In Hebrew, a plural is at least three. In this verse, the structure is such that it is a plural used as singular, indicating God in three persons…the Trinity. After all things were in place for mankind, God created Adam and took Eve from him to be a helper and companion. After they were evicted, Adam and Eve had many children and the population of Earth grew. Satan and his fallen angels were busy trying to destroy humanity by corrupting the human genome, but the Holy Spirit was leading a few, such as Enoch, away from the corruption. Eventually the corruption and evil became so bad that God had to put an end to it. “And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.” Genesis 6:3. God called Noah, who was genetically pure, to build the Ark. God had set 120 years until His judgment would come. Only those who had not been corrupted by evil would be saved: eight humans and the animals which God selected. The Holy Spirit would no longer strive with man. Before the judgment, Enoch was Raptured, and when the Ark was ready the flood came. All of creation was destroyed because of the corruption and evil, but the few who weren’t corrupted by the evil were saved. After the flood waters subsided, the Ark came to rest and life began anew.
 
After the flood, Satan still worked his evil by corrupting the minds of many people, but the Holy Spirit was still active. The Hebrew word for spirit is “ruah” and when speaking of the Holy Spirit, it’s defined as “the Spirit of God, the third person of the triune God, the Holy Spirit coequal, coeternal with the Father and the Son”. He came upon the prophets and they spoke God’s words of warning and sometimes spiritual gifts were given for specific reasons. In the book of Judges, the Spirit of the LORD came upon Othniel, and he led the Israelites to victory against Chushanrishathaim and the oppression he inflicted (Judges 3:9-10), yhe Spirit of the LORD came upon Gideon (Judges 6:34), and so on. With the help of the Holy Spirit, the Israelites had many victories, but the Spirit wouldn’t indwell people for many years, but would accomplish the task then leave that man. When Samuel anointed Saul as king over Israel, he said that Saul would meet a band of prophets, “And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.” 1 Samuel 10:6. The Holy Spirit changes a person, but Saul eventually turned against God and the Holy Spirit departed from him (1 Samuel 16:14). When Samuel anointed David to be king after Saul, “…the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward…” 1 Samuel 16:13b. In spite of that anointing, David sinned greatly. He impregnated another man’s wife then made sure her husband, a soldier, was killed in battle. David was in danger of the Spirit departing from him. “Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.” Psalm 51:11. David’s repentance and remorse were heartfelt, and God forgave him.
 
There are many references to the Holy Spirit working during the Old Testament days, but the Spirit wouldn’t stay with a person, whether prophet or king, continually. When Jesus entered His creation, the working of the Holy Spirit changed. The men who followed Jesus were Jewish and understood the things of God through their knowledge of the Law of Moses. Their understanding would be changed. When it was time for Jesus to shed His blood for the salvation of mankind, the disciples didn’t know what was coming. Jesus knew and it was necessary for His disciples to be given some final instructions. They ate supper, and Satan entered into the heart of Judas Iscariot. Then, Jesus humbly washed the disciples’ feet, giving an example of humility every follower of Christ should show. He even washed the feet of Judas. “Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet.” John 13:13-14. Jesus always led by example, and if you call Him Lord and Master, humble yourself before Him and before other people. Pride will always stumble a Christian. After Judas departed, Jesus spoke to His true disciples. “Therefore when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.” John 13:31. Jesus knew the men who followed him were a rowdy bunch, but they would have to change their ways. John and James were nicknamed The Sons of Thunder (Mark 3:17)! They all needed to learn Christian love, and so do we. “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” John 13:34-35. It isn’t always easy to love each other, but remember, Jesus even washed the feet of the one who would betray Him. Jesus is our example.
 
Jesus’ words brought concern to the hearts of His disciples. He was going away and they couldn’t follow, but they were to love one another. Then Jesus told of mansions He would prepare, and He assured them (and us) that He would go, but He would also return. “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14:3. The disciples tried to understand, but Thomas spoke up and said that they didn’t know where He was going, so how could they know the way? Jesus answered with words that we need to take to heart. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6. There is no other way to salvation than through Jesus Christ. Buddha, Mohammad, and good deeds cannot save you from eternity in Hell. Only faith in Jesus will bring eternal life with Him.
 
The disciples had become very disturbed by His words. He was going away, they couldn’t follow, He would prepare a place for them, then return to get them. Jesus had more to promise them, and us. “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;” John 14:16. This is the promise of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. There are important words to understand in this verse. One is the word “another”. In Greek there are two words translated “another. One is heteros, which means a similar thing but different. For example, if I was using a red pencil but asked you for a heteros pencil, I wouldn’t want a red pencil, but a blue or green one. The other word for “another” is allos, which is another of the same sort. If I’m using a red pencil and want an allos pencil, I’m asking for another red pencil. In this verse, Jesus promised to give allos Comforter which is another like Him…God. Think back to the Old Testament when the “…Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” Genesis 1:2b, and prior to the Flood “…My spirit shall not always strive with man…” Genesis 6:3, and the Spirit which would come upon prophets and kings. That Holy Spirit of God would soon abide with believers. The other word to understand is “Comforter”, which comes from the Greek word “parakletos”. In Scripture it’s the Holy Spirit which would lead the disciples to a deep knowledge and understanding of the Gospel. This same Comforter which led the disciples also lives in us and leads us.
 
All people who have truly accepted Christ also have this blessing of the Comforter. He leads us into a deeper knowledge of Scripture and guides us in our way of life. Friends who haven’t accepted Christ haven’t received the Holy Spirit and will have no understanding about the Gospel, salvation, and why they need to come to Jesus. “Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” John 14:17. The Holy Spirit indwells Christians (1 Corinthians 6:19, Ephesians 1:12-14, Ephesians 4:29-30). He lives in us and is our guide. If we learn to lean on Him, He will open our understanding of Scripture and help us to apply it to our lives.
 
These things were hard for the disciples to understand. Jesus was telling them a truth that hadn’t been revealed before so they had questions. How would Jesus manifest Himself only to His followers and not to the world? “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me. These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.” John 14:23-25. Anyone can say they are Christian, but it takes more than words to be a Christian. If you have truly and honestly accepted Christ, then you will obey His commandment; if you love Jesus you will obey Him. You’ll be humble, remembering that Jesus even washed Judas’ feet. You will love people, because that’s a commandment from the lips of Jesus. If you are swelled with pride, then you need to ask yourself if you’ve truly surrendered your life to the One who died for you. “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14:26. You cannot be led by the Holy Spirit if you’re living in disobedience to Christ’s words.
 
Jesus had much more to teach the Disciples that night. It was important that they understood they needed to continue to follow the example of Christ. The next few hours would be a test of their faith, but their life after the Resurrection would also be filled with persecution and most would be martyred. If they feared what the world threatened them with, they would fail in their commission to share the Gospel with the lost souls in this world. They had to follow Christ’s example. Jesus’ words are also for Christians today, “If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.” John 15:10. “Abide” means continue, or remain, in God’s love. It’s not a suggestion that we love our fellow Christians. Jesus gives this commandment more than once in this teaching. “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends if ye do whatsoever I command you.” John 15:12-14. Need I remind you that Jesus spoke these words just after Judas had left to betray Him? Jesus would soon be arrested, tried illegally, and crucified. Yet, He would do this willingly. He laid down His life for you and for me.
 
As Jesus continued teaching and spoke of the fact that the world hated Him, and so it will hate His followers. People would kill Christians and think they were serving God. Remember, Satan hasn’t stopped trying to draw people away from God and he still lies to people today just as he lied to Eve in the Garden. It was Satan who entered into Judas, a man who had followed Jesus, and turned his thoughts to betrayal. Judas wasn’t indwelt by the Holy Spirit. It was Satanic evil that caused Judas to betray the Messiah, but it fulfilled prophecy regarding the crucifixion. Only God’s pure blood would take sin away. “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they believe not on me; of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me not more; of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.” John 16:7-11. Jesus knew He had to die on the cross. He knew that the only way for eternal life to be open to mankind was if the pure blood of God was shed as the once for all sacrifice for sin. He knew that the only way for the Holy Spirit to indwell humans was by His death on the cross.
 
Christ was crucified. Christ was buried. Christ arose on the third day. He conquered death and gives eternal life to anyone who truly accepts His death, burial, and resurrection for salvation. What’s more, His death allows the Comforter to indwell those of us who have given our life to Him. This truth should change your life. Don’t quench the working of the Comforter living in you. Live for Christ who died for you.

As the Biden Administration is working on “guidelines” for the nation’s vaccine passport, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki says, “A determination or development of vaccine passport or whatever you want to call it will be driven by the private sector.” In other words, Biden is going to give big corporations and media the authority to shut you down, just like they have green-lighted censoring your freedom of thought and speech. In doing so, big business aligned with Biden politics and, more insidiously, massive profit motive, will do what would be unconstitutional for the government to do—apply tyrannical pressure for everyone to be vaccinated by limiting, denying, or prohibiting access to the unvaccinated.
 
Already the vaccination caste system has started in America. Family, friends, neighbors, workmates, and others are shaming those who do not receive the COVID vaccination. Some are refusing any contact whatsoever. Others are threatening to turn non-vaccers’ into authorities. Think of the pressure when big business is allowed to decline service to those who cannot prove they are vaccinated. The leftist philosophy of “its my body, I will choose what I do with it,” does not apply unless it is ending the life of the unborn. Bakers are forced to bake a cake for someone that their religious beliefs say they should not associate with, but businesses will be allowed to deny services if you do not have the vaccination. Except for large online providers like Amazon whose business will be skyrocketing—and these will be the biggest proponents of vaccine passports.
 
Problem is, there are problems with the vaccinations. New York, Minnesota, South Carolina, Idaho, Florida, and Washington are reporting hundreds of “breakthrough” COVID cases after vaccination. In Washington, over 100 vaccinated people have become infected with COVID. According to the Washington State Health Department, this constitutes .01 percent of those vaccinated. This figure statistically is about the same as contracting the virus without a vaccination. Yet Umair Shah, the state’s health secretary, said, “People should still get vaccinated as soon as they are eligible, and encourage friends, loved ones, and co-workers to do the same.,,even if you have been vaccinated, you still need to wear a mask, practice socially distancing, and wash your hands to prevent spreading COVID-19 to others who have not been vaccinated.” What?
 
CDC reports as of March 29, a COVID death rate of 0.0017% with 2,509 deaths from 145 million vaccinations. There are 548,162 deaths reported among the US population of 332 million, a COVID death rate of about 0.16%. You have a .16% chance of dying from COVID without the vaccination and about a .002% chance of dying from the vaccination. While any death is one too many, the statistics on all this are quite small, especially to warrant fear and panic—or establishing a caste system that denies personal liberties. The long-term side effects of the vaccine are unknown. Your decision whether to vaccinate is a personal choice. Make an informed decision. Also know there are many agendas afoot, all with consequences. Proverbs 13:20 says, “He that walks with wise men shall be wise, but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” Choose wisely.

When Jesus gathered His disciples together in the Upper Room, they didn’t know it was the Last Supper. He didn’t say, “The Last Supper is officially beginning. Take your seat behind this table right here, and let’s all sit on one side.”
 
That isn’t the way it was. They had a lot of meals together, meals that would have lasted for hours around a table that was low to the ground. There would have been times of fun, laughter, and even some profound moments.
 
However, the meal that day wasn’t like any other meal. Jesus wasn’t acting as He normally did. There was a heaviness, a seriousness, about Him.
 
Holding the bread and breaking it, Jesus said, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me” (Luke 22:19 NKJV).
 
Then He took the cup and said, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you” (verse 20 NKJV).
 
While I don’t believe in transubstantiation, which is the teaching that the bread and juice (or wine) literally become flesh and blood, I do believe they’re powerful symbols. They’re symbols of the broken body and shed blood of Jesus Christ.
 
That’s why we receive what we call Communion, which is sometimes called the Lord’s Supper. It’s something that Jesus asks all of His followers to do.
 
By the way, this isn’t a ritual. there isn’t any magic in it. It’s a symbol for a believer, just as my wedding ring represents my commitment to my wife, Cathe. There’s nothing mystical about it, but it’s an important symbol that I always wear.
 
Jesus has never, even for a moment, forgotten about you and me. He was thinking of us when He went to that cross. He came to this earth to die for our sins. So let’s remember Him.
