This is Not the End of the World - By Daymond Duck - https://www.raptureready.com/2022/03/20/this-is-not-the-end-of-the-world-by-daymond-duck/
As I understand the future sequence of events, there will be the Rapture of the Church (I Thess. 4:13-18), the 7-year Tribulation Period (Dan. 9:24-27), the Second Coming of Jesus (Jn. 14:1-6; Acts 1:10-11), the 1,000-year reign of Jesus on earth (Dan. 2:35; Zech. 14:9; Matt. 25:31; Rev. 5:10; Rev. 20:1-6), Satan will be released on earth for an unspecified length of time (Rev. 20:7-8), and eventually there will be a new heaven and new earth (Psa. 102:25-26; Isa. 65:17; 66:22; Matt. 24:35; II Per. 3:13; Rev. 20:11; Rev. 21:1-2). Having said this, Ukrainian Pres. Zelensky recently said, “The end of the world has arrived.” No, the end of the world will come, but not before every jot at tittle of the Word of God is fulfilled. Here are some recent current events that appear to be prophecy-related. One, concerning the Mark of the Beast and tracking all buying and selling: on Mar. 8, 2022, it was reported that Australia will quickly stop using physical money and could go cashless as soon as 2024 (no later than 2031). Two, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: on Mar. 11, 2022, it was reported that the E.U. asked Israel to export natural gas to Europe through Egypt. Income that was going to Russia could soon be going to Israel, and it is possible that this could be the hook that entices Russia to attack Israel.
Three, concerning strong delusion: on Mar. 11, 2022, at 1:20 am (exactly two years from the date, Mar. 11, and time, 1:20 am, that Iranian Revolutionary Guard Gen. Qasem Soleimani was assassinated in 2020), 12 ballistic missiles were fired from Iran at a U.S. military base in Irbil, Iraq. Iran attacked the U.S. base at a time when Biden is removing sanctions on Iran, planning to give Iran billions of dollars, and trying to negotiate a deal that will let Iran get nuclear weapons. How can a man that wants to give terrorists billions of dollars and nuclear weapons when they are firing missiles at U.S. troops not be strongly deluded?
Four, concerning hyper-inflation and an economic collapse, some pundits think we are seeing the beginning stages of an economic collapse now. With the U.S. debt now more than $30 trillion, on Mar. 9, 2022, the U.S. House, and on Mar. 10, 2022, the U.S. Senate, passed a $1.5 trillion spending bill that was more than 2,700 pages long, loaded with pork projects, and few, if any, legislators had time to read. (More: On Mar. 15, 2022, The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics said producer prices increased 10% in the year ending in February. According to the report, the situation will continue to worsen.) Five, concerning natural disasters increasing in frequency and intensity at the end of the age: on Mar. 13, 2022, it was reported that a 6.4 earthquake struck the Philippines, and a 6.6 earthquake struck Indonesia moments later. It was too early for reports on injuries or destruction. Six, concerning famine, on Mar. 14, 2022, an official with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) warned that the inability of Ukrainian farmers to plant crops, especially wheat, is causing massive uncertainty over global food supplies. (My opinion: The rapture of farmers could greatly exacerbate this problem.) Seven, concerning a rebuilt Temple: on Mar. 14, 2022, it was reported that the Mikdash (Temple) Education Center has minted a 10-gram, pure silver coin that they are selling to fund “a practical effort to establish the third Temple.” Eight, concerning the decline of America: on Mar. 16, 2022, the Gatestone Institute reported that an Iraqi political analyst (Ali Al-Sarraf) said, “The Biden administration is very foolish” (for ignoring the concerns of Saudi Arabia and the UAE while listening to Iran and Venezuela). Al-Sarraf said Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and UAE Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed rejected Biden’s attempts to contact them, “not because they want to abandon the alliance with the U.S., but because they do not see a president in the White House. This president is deaf. He cannot be trusted.” Biden’s rejection of “America First” and turn to “Globalism First” is hurting the U.S. Finally, are you Rapture Ready? If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this. [email protected] Ukraine’s lessons for Israel – Caroline Glick - https://www.jns.org/opinion/ukraines-lessons-for-israel/ Israel’s government must learn from the Ukrainians: States that wait for green lights from the West to defend themselves will not survive. In the months and weeks that led up to Russia’s Feb. 24 invasion of Ukraine, Western powers signaled clearly that they were prepared to accept the disappearance of Ukraine as an independent state. U.S. President Joe Biden virtually invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to invade in late January when he said that a “minor incursion” would leave NATO flat-footed. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, like his predecessor Angela Merkel, served as the Kremlin’s unofficial spokesman in Europe. But once Russian forces invaded, the West’s plans to yell a bit and look away went awry. The Ukrainians failed to play their assigned role of Paschal lambs. Instead, they rallied around their flag and their president, Volodymyr Zelensky. For his part, Zelensky captivated the hero-starved West. His rejoinder, when the Biden administration offered to evacuate him from Ukraine on the second day of the war, “I don’t need a ride, I need ammunition,” reminded Americans of a time when they weren’t being attacked for being transphobic or systemically racist, a time when patriotism was permitted. For a moment, it was possible to wonder whether Russia’s reminder that the problems of the world cannot be reduced to the pronouns one uses or the amount of carbon one burns on an average day would change the focus of Western elites. But it was not to be. The ruling classes in Brussels and Washington made clear that the war in Ukraine would not steer them off course. While Poland is giving refuge to nearly two-thirds of the 3 million Ukrainians who have fled their homes, and Hungary has taken in 10% of them, the E.U. parliament passed economic sanctions against both nations last week. Their crime? The nationalist governments in Warsaw and Budapest refuse to toe Brussels’ line on Muslim immigration and LGBTQ indoctrination. As for the Biden administration, Ukraine’s fight for national survival in the face of Russian aggression is all well and good. But appeasing Iran is the Biden administration’s top priority. And Biden can’t appease Iran without Russia. So to keep Russia on board with his administration’s efforts to close a deal with Iran, Biden agreed to cut Russia’s lucrative business with Iran out of the sanctions. Russia can expect to receive $10 billion developing Iran’s nuclear installations and billions more in arms sales. The implications for Ukraine are clear: The US is willing to let them fight the Russians, but will not help the Ukrainians defeat Russia, because the United States cares more about empowering Iran than helping Ukraine survive. The deal that Biden is concluding with Iran is itself a stunning testament to the radicalism of the Biden team and its refusal to let reality interfere with its policies. It will provide Iran with $90 billion from sanctions relief. That astronomical sum guarantees massive cash infusions into the coffers of Iran’s in-house global terrorist organization—the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, which Biden is set to remove from the State Department’s list of foreign terrorist organizations—and to Iran’s terror armies in Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, Syria and the Gaza Strip. Iran will have the funds to expand its missile and drone capabilities. And thanks to the lax restrictions it will face on its nuclear operations, it will become a nuclear threshold state by 2025 at the latest. Although the West’s progressive agenda necessarily limits the support it is willing to provide Ukraine, the West’s ruling classes need to placate their publics, who admire Ukraine, compelling them to provide significant if not determinative military, humanitarian and political assistance to Kyiv. And given Ukraine’s willingness to fight it out with Russia, that support may be sufficient to enable Ukraine to withstand Russia’s assault for long enough to maintain its independence. The widespread assessment today is that the Ukrainians will be able to continue fighting, despite Russia’s clear military superiority, for another month or six weeks. Given the high losses the Ukrainians are inflicting on the Russians, and assuming that the Russians begin to feel the full impact of the economic and financial sanctions within the next two to three weeks, it is possible that by mid-April, the Ukrainians will be able to negotiate ceasefire terms with Russia that will leave the country independent and more or less intact. There is a moral to this story for Israel. Ukrainians can still hope for and expect a future of freedom and independence because they have refused to bow before either Russia or to the West. If Israel were paying attention to the dynamics at work in the West’s behavior towards Ukraine, it would be adopting policies opposite to those it is currently pursuing, both in relation to Ukraine and Russia and in relation to the West. Unlike Zelensky, who hasn’t hesitated to call the United States and Germany out for their fence-sitting, the Bennett-Lapid-Gantz government has subordinated all Israeli policies to the Biden administration’s agenda. If Israel were putting its own interests first, as Zelensky has, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett wouldn’t be trying to mediate between Zelensky and Putin. Instead, Israel would make do with a simple but clear message: Israel supports Ukraine’s sovereign independence and territorial integrity and calls on Russia to end its offensive operations. Israel ought not and need not go beyond that statement. The reasons for this are obvious. This is not Israel’s war, and words have consequences. Israel cannot mediate this conflict because it has no leverage over either actor to persuade them to compromise. As for the significance of words, in order to succeed, a mediator has to be perceived by both sides as someone who accepts the basic legitimacy of their positions. But as a threatened democracy, it is a dangerous proposition for Israel to accept Russia’s view that Ukraine has no right to exist as an independent and distinct nation-state. When the next round of “mediation” between Israel and the Palestinians begins, how will Israel be able to demand that any prospective mediator reject out of hand the Palestinians’ position that the Jewish state has no right to exist? This brings us to the second policy Israel should be adopting in the face of the war in Ukraine. Israel should be devoting all of its efforts on the ground to rapidly facilitating the mass aliyah of Ukrainian Jewry. As it stands, there are 10,000 Ukrainian Jews waiting to make aliyah. Instead of processing their applications, the Foreign Ministry is giving them appointments at consulates and embassies in Warsaw, Budapest and Bucharest three and six months from now and filling planes with non-Jews instead. Non-Jewish Ukrainians, it bears noting, have no problem resettling in the countries bordering Ukraine and throughout Europe. Yet, as 10,000 Ukrainian Jews are forced to wait for months to come to Israel, 10,000 non-Jewish Ukrainians have been airlifted to Israel. This brings us to Israel’s real problems—Iran, the Palestinians and the Biden administration. Zelensky’s fierce defense of his country, and the Ukrainian people’s refusal to stand down in the face of Russia’s advance, have compelled the Biden administration to support Ukraine even at the risk of a world war because the Ukrainians are standing for the values of freedom and independence that the United States is supposed to personify on the world stage. If Israel were to take a page from Ukraine’s playbook, its leaders would be attacking the immorality of the Biden administration’s capitulation to Iran’s demands in the appeasement talks in Vienna. The Bennett-Lapid-Gantz government’s silence in the face of Biden’s abdication of moral and strategic leadership in the Middle East undermines the efforts of Israel’s supporters in Congress and the international community. The Republicans, for instance, are compelled to explain why they are more opposed to Biden’s capitulation to Iran than the Israeli government is. Then there are Israel’s Arab partners. The Saudis and the Emiratis have been more outspoken in their opposition to Biden’s Iran policies than Israel. The Arab leaders in the Gulf look at the silent, supine Israeli government in astonishment and distrust. The strategic consequences are already tangible. Rather than redouble their cooperation with Jerusalem, the Saudis and the Emiratis are setting their sights on Moscow and Beijing. The situation with the Palestinians is also disturbing, and speaks clearly to the destructive implications of Bennett’s decision to play mediator between Russia and Ukraine. Two weeks ago, Congress passed an omnibus spending bill, which Biden signed. With AIPAC’s support, the bill contained a section on Israel that significantly downgraded the U.S. commitment to the Jewish state. The section on Israel was an amended version of a law that passed initially in 2012, and required the United States to “assist” and “support the Government of Israel” in its ongoing talks with the Palestinians. The new law deleted the part about supporting Israel. Under the new law, the United States is obligated to support “a negotiated solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict resulting in two states living side by side in peace, security, and mutual recognition.” In other words, under the amended law, the United States is committed to supporting the establishment of a Palestinian state, whether Israel supports it or not. Sen. Ted Cruz has fought since last July to block the passage of this amendment because he recognized the damage it was liable to do both to U.S.-Israel ties and to Israel’s national security. The Israeli Embassy, on the other hand, was less concerned. Senate sources explain that Israel’s diplomats were nowhere to be found as Cruz fought adoption of the amendment. The worst aspect of the amended law is that it wasn’t initiated by the usual anti-Israel forces in the so-called “Squad.” AIPAC supported the amendment, and so did mainstream Republican senators, like the ranking Republican on the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, James Risch, and Sen. Rob Portman. The implications are clear. When Israel opts to remain silent as its interests and position are undermined, not only does it strengthen its enemies, it loses its friends. After Russia invaded Ukraine, many Ukrainians told Israeli reporters on the scene that they were inspired by Israel, which has always fought its own battles and survived even in the face of global indifference and hostility. Today, the opposite should be the case. Israel’s government must learn from the Ukrainians. The West will not fight for a threatened democracy. States that wait for green lights from the West to defend themselves will not survive. But states that defend themselves will see sufficient forces rally to their side to enable them to persevere and survive. Admit The Truth - By Steve Schmutzer - https://www.raptureready.com/2022/03/13/admit-the-truth-by-steve-schmutzer/ If you respect the facts and know the truth – this is a maddening and senseless time to be living in. For those of you like me – who react to lies and deception about as favorably as rolling around in a pile of moist manure – here are some facts to reorient your sanity’s compass during these crazy times. This is the truth – like it or not. These are facts – no matter who opposes or censors them, or what they say or how they say it. In no particular order: 1) Trump won the 2020 election by a record landslide. Most of the left and corrupt RINOs – and certainly all rational Americans – know this. 2) The Democrats engaged in unprecedented fraudulent schemes to put an incompetent, incoherent, and doddering old fool in the White House. 3) The world’s leaders know the current American President is neither legitimate nor capable of governing. They do not respect him. 4) The COVID-19 ‘pandemic’ was planned to have global impact well before any regular person on the street had ever heard of the name Dr. Fauci. 5) Dr. Fauci may be a lot of things, but ‘science’ is not one of them. Nor is ‘ethical.’ 6) The COVID-19 virus was generated in a lab in Wuhan, China. It was funded and engineered by corrupt people with malevolent intentions. 7) The COVID-19 ‘vaccine’ is no more a true vaccine than the moon is green cheese. The CDC changed the definition of a vaccine to try to explain away the ineffectiveness of the jab. 8) More deaths and adverse events have resulted from the COVID-19 ‘vaccine’ and its parade of boosters than all other vaccines together for the past several decades. 9) Masking policies were never about reducing the spread of the virus. It’s clear masks don’t work for that – and those who claim they do have left their brains at the door. 10) Masking policies were always about imposing greater controls on society – especially on those the left didn’t particularly like. 11) The current ‘pandemic’ was just the first pass. It was a test trial. There will be more – and like this one, they will also be planned. 12) The present energy crisis in America is 100% on Slow Joe. He inherited a nation that was an energy exporter and was energy independent under Trump’s policies for the first time in 75 years. 13) The present record illegal immigration crisis is 100% on our Charlatan-In-Chief. He discontinued building the wall which had proved to be effective in slowing illegal border crossings. 14) Gas prices had already surged an average of $1.50/gallon under the Biden regime well before Putin ever began assembling his troops on Ukraine’s border. 15) Biden has earned every credential that marks him as weak, senseless, incapable, rudderless, and ethically compromised on the world stage. 16) America is suffering under the militant and ‘religious’ fervor of the radical Green New Deal progressive-socialist climate-control nutjobs who are pulling a lot of Demented Joe’s strings behind the scenes. 17) The goal of the globalists – including those mentioned in points 1, 2, and 16 above – is to weaken America and reduce this nation to a whimpering participant in a new world order. It’s why they hated a “Make America Great” plan. 18) China will invade Taiwan and will force it to become part of China. America will protest this, but it will essentially do nothing. 19) Israel will be forced to deal with Iran’s true nuclear ambitions on her own. In the interests of self-preservation, Israel will do what Israel must do. America will protest this, but it will essentially do nothing. 20) Putin is likely to continue his military campaign beyond Ukraine. His desires are territorial. He wants to restore Russia to the glory – as he sees it – of the former Soviet Union. America will protest this, but it will essentially do nothing. Want me to continue? I certainly could. There is much I could add about pro-abortion matters, the gender-disruptive assault on women’s sports, this administration’s disastrous foreign policy positions, activist judges, the blatant suppression of free speech, the media’s true role as propagandists, our record inflation, abandonment of Americans on foreign soil, and all sorts of senseless ‘woke’ postures and tyrannical trends that have sharply surged in JUST THE LAST YEAR! But I imagine most of you are not reading this with a barf bag handy. I don’t want to inconvenience you. The overarching truth is that opening statement – this is a maddening and senseless time to be living in. The parallel passages of Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 describe a time in which deceptions will increase, in which pandemics will be prominent, in which famines and food shortages will threaten, and in which ‘wars and rumors of wars’ will increase. They also mention a surge in earthquakes – – have you seen how many of those have been cropping up with greater frequency around the world now? To be sure, we are seeing the early signs of trends that will ultimately culminate in Jesus Christ’s Second Coming. The Bible makes this clear. But in the meantime – we all need to find our second wind. We need to straighten our spines. We need to patiently endure. You see, Jesus says about all these signs, “… but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is not yet.” So – get a grip. God knows the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10). That includes right now. Here are a couple of bottom-line issues for you and me: Number one: nothing’s out of control. This is all by God’s design, and Jesus warned us it would be this way. These things are proving your faith. Number two: this is just the start – it’s going to get a whole lot worse. No, you can’t vote your way out of this one. See point 2 above. Pick your friends carefully – – – and pick your church the same way. Be extremely wary of those who choose to believe and support the lies and deceptions. This is no time to be propping up anyone who’s not paying attention to the facts but who’s rounding the corners of truth instead. Those who are shedding their primary responsibilities or who are trying to distract you from all that’s really going on are not ones who have your best interests at heart. This is no time to be deluding yourself with the notion that things are going to get better, that Biblical prophecy is not important, or we just need to get someone with a red tie in the White House. This is a time of raging evil. It is animate, cognizant, and calculating – and it doesn’t care about you at all. This evil has been preparing for such a time as this. It’s just getting rolling…. This is a time to be wise. This is a time to be studying God’s Word. This is a time to live alongside others with humility. This is a time to be praying and to be evaluating your own heart before the Lord. This is a time to be looking up. My Heart, His Kingdom - By Hal Lindsey - https://www.hallindsey.com/ww-3-20-2022/ Wars are always packed with tragedy and pain. But these days we see these things in a unique way. According to the CIA Factbook, Ukraine has almost as many cell phones per capita as the United States. Cell phones double as motion picture cameras and audio recorders. Those mechanical eyes and ears connect to the internet. All wars are tragic, but this time we can see war’s tragedies in a more personal way than at any other time in history. And what we see—the sights and sounds from those Ukrainian cell phones—breaks our hearts. We see the cruelty, the anguish, the fear, and the pain. There may have been times when you were so overwhelmed that you had to stop watching. I understand. It doesn’t mean you’re hardhearted. Just the opposite. It means you are able to empathize, and sometimes that becomes too much to bear. Sadly, Ukraine is not the only place of cruelty and pain on planet earth just now. Many Christians in Africa, for instance, face unspeakable brutality. The Uyghurs in China are experiencing a level of persecution that some say approaches genocide. And don’t forget the “little” atrocities committed against vulnerable people even in affluent circumstances. All over the world, people suffer the aftereffects of their own and other people’s sin. As the days pass, more Christians find themselves praying with John in Revelation 22:20, “Even so, come, Lord Jesus!” We long for the millennium, for a world made right by the rule of God the Son, the Prince of Peace. Those of us who know Him, know that we can trust His will. And where He reigns, His will prevails. But the Bible doesn’t just speak of a future kingdom of God. It also speaks of God’s kingdom in the present tense. Mark 1:15 reveals the message with which Jesus began His preaching ministry. “The kingdom of God is at hand.” Colossians 1:12-14 says, “Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. For He delivered us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” When we come to Christ, God transfers us into His kingdom. If you are in Christ, you are part of His kingdom right now! That means He’s your King. He reigns in you. Where He reigns, His will prevails. And where His will prevails, His power flows! We need that power now. We need to speak His words with His authority. We need the confidence that comes from knowing we stand safely in the center of His will. May we be circumspect in our thoughts, disciplined in our actions, diligent in our work, and faithful to learn His will by studying His word and going to Him in prayer. In times like these, may we consistently behave as commissioned representatives of His Kingdom—for our loved ones and for a desperate world. Daily Jot: The great laptop coverup - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com In October 2020, at least 15 mainstream media personalities said that Hunter Biden’s laptop emails were likely Russian propaganda. They refused to cover the story. Many of those of us who carried the story were censored as providing misinformation. In March 2022, the mainstream media’s coverup was exposed by none other than the New York Times, when it admitted that emails from Hunter Biden’s laptop “were authenticated by people familiar with them and with the investigation.” In October 2020, Jen Psaki, then CNN commentator now Joe Biden press secretary, said the “Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo.” She still maintains the Russian disinformation narrative, despite proof otherwise. Let us recall the 87-page Senate report collaborating the information on Hunter’s laptop. The report discussed a $7 million bribe being paid when Joe threatened the Ukraine government over ending its investigation of Hunter’s dealings with the energy company Bursima. The report also confirmed Hunter Biden received $3.5 million from the wife of the former mayor of Moscow, and paid Russians involved with prostitution and human trafficking. There were the 26,000 emails provided Breitbart News by Hunter’s former business partner Bevan Cooney who is in prison. The emails detail how Hunter secured meetings with senior White House officials for Chinese Communist elites—including a secret meeting with then-Vice President Joe Biden. The laptop reportedly had video of Hunter using cocaine and having sex with Chinese children. Former Attorney General William Barr, who served under both presidents Donald Trump and George H. W. Bush, told Fox News March 17 that mass media characterization of Hunter Biden’s laptops as disinformation, “definitely made an impact on the election, the suppressing that news…Just the facts alone were shameful.” Media watchdog, Media Research Center, conducted a poll of voters in the seven swing states (AZ, GA, MI, NV, NC, PA, and WI) immediately following the 2020 election that found “one of every six Biden voters we surveyed (17%) said they would have abandoned the Democratic candidate had they known the facts about one or more of the news stories” such as Tara Reade’s accusations that Biden sexually assaulted her, Hunter Biden’s laptop, and suppression of Trump’s successes. At the time, the corporate media ridiculed Trump attorney Rudi Giuliani and dismissed his presentation about Hunter’s laptop and corruption. In the Daily Jot’s October 20, 2020 coverage of these events, I wrote: “There are things that don’t add up. What does add up is Biden’s corruption and that he is a compromised candidate that nations hold huge blackmail leverage over his head. He should not be president for this alone. America’s national security is at stake.” And what do we have today with the dealings with Russia and China—an impotent and compromised president. As Christ said in Luke 8:17, “For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light.” As the truth comes out about Biden and his family, corporate media is once again proven liars, but the damage is already done. Daily Devotion: It’s the Objective, Not the Obstacle - by Greg Laurie – www.harvest.org But Caleb tried to quiet the people as they stood before Moses. ‘Let’s go at once to take the land,’ he said. ‘We can certainly conquer it!’ —Numbers 13:30 https://harvest.org/resources/devotion/its-the-objective-not-the-obstacle/ - Listen The Israelites had come to the very brink of the Promised Land and were poised to enter in. So God commanded Moses to send in 12 spies to check things out and see what was ahead of them. The men came back with a grape cluster that was so incredibly large, it took two of them to carry it. They told Moses, “We entered the land you sent us to explore, and it is indeed a bountiful country—a land flowing with milk and honey. . . . But the people living there are powerful, and their towns are large and fortified. We even saw giants there, the descendants of Anak!” (Numbers 13:27–28 NLT). But Caleb, one of the 12 spies, saw things in a more positive light: “‘Let’s go at once to take the land,’ he said. ‘We can certainly conquer it!’” (verse 30 NLT). Ten of the spies, however, spread negative reports. They said, “We can’t go up against them! . . . . The land we traveled through and explored will devour anyone who goes to live there” (verses 31–32 NLT). Twelve spies went in, but only two—Joshua and Caleb—gave an encouraging report. It all came down to how they looked at things. God had promised that He would give them the land. But the other spies didn’t see God for who He is. They ignored His words and only saw problems. Meanwhile, Joshua and Caleb saw the same obstacles. But they also saw opportunities and great victories if they went into the land. We all face obstacles, but can we see them in the light of who God is? When we fix our attention on the obstacles rather than on the objective, fear always will eclipse our faith. Don’t look at God in the light of your problem. Look at your problem in the light of God. FROM THE HEART Let Us Make the Short Time We have Left, Count for ALL of Eternity!
