On May 14, 2008, Barack Obama was running for Pres. of the U.S., and Michelle said, “We are going to have to change our conversation; we’re going to have to change our traditions, our history; we’re going to have to move into a different place as a nation.” People are trying to change our conversation today. If a man calls himself a woman, people want everyone to call him a woman. Those that say same-sex marriage is wrong are homophobes, etc. People are trying to change our traditions and history today. They hate America, destroy historical statues and monuments, say all white Americans are racists, refuse to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag, etc. They are changing our traditions and history. People are moving America into a different place today. Instead of the U.S. being a sovereign nation under God with freedom of speech, freedom of religion, etc., they are moving the U.S. into a world government that will ignore the God of the Bible, individual rights, freedoms, etc. What Michelle said in 2008 is being put into place in America today. Just before Michelle’s husband Barack Obama was elected Pres. of the U.S. in 2008, he said, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” His Vice-Pres. was Joe Biden, who said on Apr. 5, 2013, “The affirmative task we have now is to actually create a new world order.” Seven years (in 2015) after Obama said he would fundamentally transform America, the UN voted unanimously to approve a document called: “Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.” UN Sec. Gen. Ban Ki-moon called this transformation of the world the “start of a new era.” The UN vote to transform the world went into effect on Jan. 1, 2016, and it boils down to a call for the development of a world government by 2030 (some in the Deep State want it sooner, if possible, but the new era has begun). This is the point. There is ample proof that two transformations are going on simultaneously in the world: a U.S. Deep State transformation of America and a globalist Deep State transformation of the world. The Biden campaign committee and the UN even use the same slogan, “Build Back Better.” (Get rid of the old America and replace it with a different America; Get rid of the current UN structure and replace it with a godless all-powerful one-world government and religion.) The prophet Amos said, “Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets” (Amos 3:7). God used the Obama’s, Biden, Klaus Schwab, the World Economic Forum, and others to reveal these two Deep State plans (fundamentally transform America and transform the world) before they started doing it. America’s Deep State and the globalist Deep State are working together to carry out the two transformation plans. Some even believe the 2020 election was stolen and that Obama was given a third presidency to carry out the fundamental transformation of America because Biden is unable to lead. Concerning America’s Deep State plan to fundamentally transform America: notice what some very important people have said recently.
The effort to fundamentally transform America and the world is now approaching the final stages. Like Trump, this writer believes there may not be a U.S. presidential election 3 years from now (in 2024). America’s Deep State and the globalist Deep State will use all the power they have to stop Trump from being elected again, and the corrupt media and global institutions will do everything they can to stop him. Fundamentally transforming the U.S. before 2024 will speed up world government. This is a spiritual war that will result in a satanic, godless world government that God will allow to pursue a 7-year effort to dominate and enslave the world. Some ask why would so-called intelligent people pursue a godless world government and religion? Many choose to believe the theory of evolution instead of the Bible’s teaching that God created and controls everything. Know that it is impossible to make God irrelevant, impossible to legislate Jesus out of existence, impossible to ignore the Ten Commandments and get away with it forever. This will lead to the Second Coming of Jesus and His 1,000-year reign on earth. No human knows the day or the hour of the Rapture, but this writer believes the effort to transform the U.S. and the world indicates that the Rapture is close. The Christian’s blessed hope (the Rapture of the Church) will fundamentally change the world, allow unrestrained evil (the Antichrist) to appear, and speed up the development of godless world government and religion. Here are some events that appear to relate to Bible prophecy. One, concerning the decline of the U.S.: on Sept. 22, 2021, Joel Rosenberg reported that Pres. Biden promised the UN General Assembly on Sept. 21, 2021, that he will strengthen America’s relationships with our allies, but a growing number of nations view him as weak and unable or unwilling to do that. Rosenberg pointed out that Biden has already strained America’s relationship with the UK, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and NATO. Two, also concerning America’s Deep State effort to weaken the U.S. and establish a godless world government and religion: in 1983, Lee Greenwood wrote and started singing the hit song titled “God Bless The USA.” One year later, Greenwood was asked to sing “God Bless the USA” at the Republican National Convention. After that, Pres. George W. Bush appointed Greenwood to the National Council of Arts. Greenwood was reappointed by Pres. Obama and Pres. Trump. This week, the Biden administration notified Greenwood that he will not be reappointed to the National Council of Arts. “God Bless the USA” was causing a twofold problem for America’s Deep State: 1) They don’t want to acknowledge the existence of God, and 2) They want the USA to be weakened, not blessed. Three, concerning a U.S. economic collapse (which would probably trigger a global economic collapse): on Sept. 22, 2021, the Federal Reserve said it expects inflation and unemployment to rise before the end of this year. They blamed Covid for a significant impact on the economy. During a press conference at the White House on Sept. 24, 2021, Dept. of Homeland Security Sec. Raphael Mayorkas acknowledged that the U.S. has dispersed thousands of illegal immigrants from Haiti across the U.S. that were not tested for Covid. Four, concerning peace in the Middle East: on Sept. 24, 2021: it was reported that 312 Iraqi leaders and activists gathered in the Kurdistan region of Iraq to publicly endorse face-to-face talks and full normalization ties with Israel. One leader said, “We want our region to be a peaceful one, in which Israel is an inseparable part of the panoramic whole, and in which all peoples have the right to live in security.” Peace and security are the same as peace and safety. Update: On Sept. 26, 2021, it was reported that an Iraqi court has issued arrest warrants for 3 of the top Iraqi leaders that called for normalization ties with Israel, and the court said it would issue arrest warrants for all the others as soon as they are identified. Five, concerning Covid: during a press conference at the White House on Sept. 24,2021, Dept. of Homeland Security Sec. Raphael Mayorkas acknowledged that the U.S. has dispersed thousands of illegal immigrants from Haiti across the U.S. that were not tested for Covid. Six, concerning falling away in the Church: this week, the Evangelical Lutheran Church installed a transgender Bishop. According to Franklin Graham, “The media says that this bishop is a biological female, has a wife and children, and wants to be referred to using the pronouns they or he.” This is clear evidence that America’s conversation is changing, and America is moving into a different place (also, that false teachers have entered the Church and become part of it). Seven, concerning an attack on Iran that could trigger the Battle of Gog and Magog: on Sept. 27, 2021, Israeli Prime Min. Bennett told the UN Gen. Assembly, “There are those in the world who seem to view Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons as an inevitable reality, or they’ve just become tired of hearing about it. Israel doesn’t have that privilege. We will not tire. We will not allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon.” Update: Following his speech before the UN Gen. Assembly, Bennett told a group of reporters, “We mean what we say. The pace of progress towards a nuclear weapon is unacceptable – we are taking action.” Eight, concerning citizen’s right to choose their healthcare: on Sept. 27, 2021, it was reported that more than 4,000 scientists and physicians worldwide have signed a “Physicians Declaration” accusing politicians and others of “crimes against humanity” by denying the use of life-saving medications (Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine, etc.), and silencing the debate on the value of these medications, etc. As this writer understands it, thousands of scientists and physicians believe a patient’s healthcare should be decided by the patient, the patient’s family, and the patient’s doctor, not globalists, big pharma, or politically motivated bought-and-paid-for politicians. As it is, people are deciding what medications and treatment citizens can and cannot have, and it is leading to adverse reactions and the death of some. Writer’s comment: This was not in the article, but many globalists think a major population reduction would be a good thing (a few want it reduced from almost 8 billion to 500 million). And even worse, one that greatly devalues human life. Former Congresswoman Michelle Bachman, in a recent radio interview with Jan Markell, referred to the Biden administration as a “culture of death.” The facts confirm her statement. Those in charge of the United States display absolutely no interest in saving lives; in fact, I believe they want to kill a great many people. In order to build a case for such a startling claim, I’ll start with something that provides indisputable evidence of their flagrant disregard for human life. THE EXTREME ADVOCACY OF ABORTION Abortion represents the barbaric, evil, and yes demonic taking of a precious life before birth. The grotesque abuses of this practice, such as the harvesting of organs and limbs (in some cases from live babies) and the killing of those that survive grotesque late term abortion procedures, make this an exceedingly vile practice. The Biden/Harris administration represents the most avidly pro-abortion twosome ever to hold the highest offices in America and this alone overshadows the White House with a red cloak of death. Congress, with the vote of all but one Democrat, recently voted to enshrine the cruel slaughter of the innocents, up to the moment of birth, in all fifty states. Biden has indicated his eagerness to sign this vile legislation. Surely God’s judgment on the U.S. must be on our doorstep! Surely this over-the-top devaluing of human life shows itself in other areas in the U.S. government. And it does! THE SURRENDER OF AFGHANISTAN TO THE TALIBAN The actions of President Biden in Afghanistan further demonstrate his disdain for the lives of those over which he governs. He intentionally surrendered this nation to the Taliban, the most brutal and bloodthirsty group of terrorists on planet earth. Not only that, but he also gifted these demonic murders with a treasure trove of weapons beyond anything they could have ever imagined. As if that were not enough, the Biden administration left thousands of Americans behind in the country to face torture and most likely murder. On September 28, 2021, Lloyd Austin, the current Secretary of Defense in the U.S. admitted under oath that Biden stranded four thousand Americans in Afghanistan. Many of these have escaped death through private means, including the help of retired military personnel who risked their lives to save others. But many remain in Afghanistan facing a terrifying future. The Taliban have already identified and killed many Afghans that helped our soldiers during their time in the country and were also left behind. As for the car bomb that killed hundreds of Afghans as well as thirteen American soldiers, a military drone had the car in its sights but the Taliban, yes, the Taliban, refused to give the U.S. the authority to strike. This comes from a U.S. government report on the incident. The Biden administration could have prevented that attack that killed hundreds of Afghans as well as several American soldiers, but instead he bowed to the wishes of the Taliban and allowed it to happen. THE TYRANNY OF COVID-19 MANDATES The slaughter of innocents before birth, the surrender of Afghanistan to the Taliban, and the leaving behind of American citizens and loyal Afghans to face possible torture and death at the hands of the Taliban should be enough to prove the carelessness of the current U.S. government regarding the wellbeing and even the lives of its citizens. And it certainly does! Why then, should we believe it cares about our health? Why think that it has our best interests in mind? Since COVID-19 first appeared in the U.S., the government has dramatically raised death counts by campaigning against hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin, both of which have a proven track record of effectiveness versus the virus, especially if administered in its early stages. Instead, many doctors and hospitals have sent those with minor symptoms home with no prescriptions. When some of these later required hospitalization, some followed the advice of Dr. Fauci and gave them remdesivir and put them on ventilators, which together killed a great many people. Now, instead of recommending treatments known to help people in the early stages of COVID-19 or providing life-saving insight on how to build up one’s immune systems, the Biden administration, along with many likeminded state governors, is mandating the so-called vaccines. As of September 24, 2021, here are some of the COVID-19 vaccine adverse effects reported by U.S. medical personnel to the CDC:
It’s estimated that at best, medical staff only report ten per cent of vaccine adverse reactions to any vaccine to the government. A recent Veritas film clip demonstrated that many hospitals refuse to report any deaths and adverse reactions to the COVID-19 injections. In it, one nurse complained that it takes a half hour to do the necessary paperwork to report an adverse vaccine reaction to the CDC. Take the numbers listed in the above bullet list times ten and you will have a truer picture of what is happening in just the U.S. Please know that my purpose in sharing these tragic numbers is solely to point out the dangers of these vaccines; I am not judging anyone who has received the injections. The news media and government tell us these jabs are safe, but the numbers tell a much different story. It’s very likely that as many as 160 thousand people have died in the U.S. as a result of the COVID-19 injections. In spite of the high death toll, the federal government is mandating them throughout the United States. Michelle Bachman’s statement referring to the Biden administration as a “culture of death” rings true in so many ways. The result of Biden’s “vaccine” mandates, if fully implemented, will directly cause tens of thousands in the U.S. to die, if not a great many more. There’s an uncredited quote making its rounds on Facebook that states, “At no time in history have the people forcing others into compliance been the good guys.” This is most definitely the case in America and across the globe as well. TRIBULATION PERIOD CONDITIONING The division between the vaccinated and the unvaccinated continues to grow. The governments of Australia and the United Kingdom are already preparing camps to send the unvaccinated for their own “well-being.” The CDC in America says it also has the right to do so, and credible rumors persist that they are already preparing such encampments for those who refuse to comply with the vaccine mandates. The CDC claims the right to incarcerate terrorists, which includes people like me who question the safety of the COVID-19 vaccines and refuse to go along with the current deception. The majority of people forcibly taken to these interment camps will not return home. Their governments will later report that they have died of the coronavirus. The COVID-19 tyranny in American and throughout the world foreshadows the seven-year tribulation during which time Scripture tells us that the kingdom of the antichrist will kill a multitude of both Christians and Jews. The “us versus them” mentality of Nazi Germany will return, but this time on a worldwide scale with no powerful allied forces to fight against the tyranny. Vaccine mandates and passports are leading the world directly to the mark of the beast as described in Revelation 13:16-18. As Brandon Holthaus described them, they are “stairsteps” leading directly to the time when the antichrist requires his mark in order to buy and sell. They are conditioning people to accept the mandates of the lawless one, even the one that will demand people worship him or face death. BUT FOR JESUS My purpose is not scare you, but to prepare you for what’s coming. What is already taking place around us should greatly alarm people without any help from me. If you believe that the U.S. government has your wellbeing at heart and that all is well, you are either not paying attention to current events or remain hooked on the lies that the mainstream media is feeding you. Long ago, the Bible warned of the deceptive time in which we now live so people would recognize the signs of the time and turn to Jesus and so believers would get ready to meet their Savior in the air. Jesus is able to overcome all the adverse effects of these injections in His people and He is working out His purposes throughout the world. As a result of the lawlessness and wickedness of our day, many are turning to Christ and receiving His forgiveness of their sins and the gift of eternal life. Those of us securely in Jesus have nothing to fear. He is coming soon for us and after He takes us to the place in His Father’s house that He’s preparing for us (John 14:1-3; Colossians 3:4), He will pour out His wrath on this lawless and Christ-rejecting world. How do we come to grips with a government that wants to kill us? We look to Jesus, the “the author and finisher of our faith” (Hebrews 12:2). The one who originated our faith in Him and perfects it will never leave us on our own, but He will bring us safely to His kingdom regardless of our fate in the coming weeks, months, or years. You see, we now live-in biblical times. Dangerous yes, but nevertheless biblical times. Apart from Jesus and the promises of His Word, light and hope would not exist in this dark and threatening world. But because of Him, those of us who trust Him look forward to a joyous and exciting adventure that will begin the moment He comes for His church. I believe the Rapture will happen very, very soon. Usually, there is a very clear build up before hostilities begin, and we are seeing the same pattern today. For example, by now it should be exceedingly clear to everyone that Israel and Iran will be going to war. Both sides have been talking about the coming conflict for years, and everyone knows who has been causing the “mystery explosions” inside Iran and everyone knows who has been attacking Israeli commercial ships. A “shadow war” has already been going on for quite some time, and at some point missiles will start flying back and forth between the two countries. Likewise, by now it should be exceedingly clear that China very much wants to invade Taiwan. “Reunification” is a top national priority for the CCP, and as you will see below, we are being warned that Xi Jinping has apparently decided that Taiwan is “not a problem that will be passed down to the next generation”. From a U.S. perspective, the goal is to delay these conflicts for as long as possible. But China just keeps getting more and more aggressive with Taiwan. In fact, the Chinese military sent 77 military aircraft into Taiwan’s air defense identification zone on Friday and Saturday… Taiwan has reported a record number of incursions by Chinese warplanes into its air defense identification zone (ADIZ) for the second day in a row, Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense said on Saturday night. The self-governing island said a total of 39 Chinese military aircraft entered the ADIZ on Saturday, one more than the 38 planes it spotted on Friday. This shocking provocation led one British news source to boldly declare that China and Taiwan “are on the brink of war”, and that isn’t too far from the truth. In response, the head of Taiwan’s government had some very tough words for the Chinese… “China has been wantonly engaged in military aggression, damaging regional peace,” said Taiwan Premier Su Tseng-chang on Saturday. And he also referred to the fact that Taiwan is depending on the United States to protect it from China… “The U.S. commitment to Taiwan is rock solid and contributes to the maintenance of peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait and within the region,” he added. “We will continue to stand with friends and allies to advance our shared prosperity, security, and values and deepen our ties with democratic Taiwan.” When China finally invades Taiwan, the U.S. and China will instantly be in a state of war, and everyone understands this. At one time the Chinese had hoped to peacefully “reunify” with Taiwan like they did with Hong Kong, but that is out of the picture now. CCP leaders have realized that they are going to have to take Taiwan by force, and so they are looking for an opportunity. With feeble Joe Biden in the White House and with the American people deeply tired of wars, this may be the best chance that the CCP is going to get, and they certainly realize this. So could they pull the trigger on an invasion in the months ahead? Let’s hope not, because such a conflict would throw the entire globe into a state of chaos. But the clock is ticking, because as I noted above, we are being told that Xi Jinping has determined that Taiwan “is not a problem that will be passed down to the next generation”… However, President Xi Jinping in China has previously expressed his aims to annex the island by suggesting there is “no room for any form of Taiwan independence.” Dr Nick Bisley, from La Trobe University in Australia said: “Xi Jinping has made a very public and very clear signal that says Taiwan is not a problem that will be passed down to the next generation.” Meanwhile, the game of nuclear chicken that Iran and Israel are playing is rapidly approaching a moment of truth. Just like his predecessor, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has promised to never allow the Iranians to develop their own nuclear weapons, and everyone agrees that day is now closer than ever. The following comes from an Israeli news source… In his speech to the UN General Assembly last week, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett declared that “Iran’s nuclear program has hit a watershed moment, and so has our tolerance. Words do not stop centrifuges from spinning… We will not allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon.” With quite dramatic candor, meanwhile, IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kohavi publicly declared (in January) that the IDF was preparing fresh “operational plans” for a potent military strike; (in August) that Iran’s nuclear progress has prompted the IDF “to speed up its operational plans,” with a fresh budget to do so; and (in September) that the IDF has “greatly accelerated” preparations for action against Iran’s nuclear program. Needless to say, a full-blown war between Israel and Iran would also throw the entire globe into a state of chaos, and it is coming. In fact, a top Iranian official just said that “war with Israel has already started”… “The war with Israel has already started,” Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh told Maariv. “Israel has carried out attacks that were intended to destroy our nuclear program for peaceful purposes. It murdered nuclear scientists and harmed the Iranian people. Iran is accused of terrorism, but there is no good or bad terrorist. The whole crisis in the region is Israel’s fault.” If either of the wars that I have discussed in this article were to fully erupt before the end of this calendar year, economic activity all over the planet would be greatly affected and it would make global supply chain problems far, far worse than they are now. In addition, global financial markets would almost certainly go totally haywire. Much more importantly, in either case the U.S. would find itself involved in a new war. If China invades Taiwan, the U.S. military would instantly be forced into action, and if Iran and Israel go to war the U.S. would definitely not stay on the sidelines. Needless to say, most Americans are not even thinking about war right now. But war is coming, and it won’t be too long before it is here. Lawlessness and Other Proof - By Terry James - https://www.raptureready.com/2021/10/01/lawlessness-and-other-proof-by-terry-james/ My daily emails and conversations usually include a statement similar to: “With everything going on, we must be very near the end.” This usually means that this generation of anti-God rebels alive on the planet must be about to get their comeuppance; God must be fed up much like He was with the likes of the inhabitants at the lower end of the Dead Sea during the days of Lot. It was a time of evil, debauchery, and violence, as we read in Genesis 19. Jesus gave condemning words by saying that the time He returns (that is, when He is next revealed to an unsuspecting world) will be just like it was in Lot’s day in Sodom and during Noah’s day. (Lot’s day in Sodom was a microcosm of what the entire world was like during Noah’s day.) In both instances—Noah’s day and Lot’s day—God found mankind so repulsive in the way they were acting that He had to destroy all but the very few He found to be righteous. The biblical account says the destruction in both cases was complete. To the believer in biblical truth, that is proven to be the case as we look around. The antediluvian world is no more. There’s not a trace of it, except perhaps in geographical sites, etc. The cities of Sodom and Gomorrah can’t be found, either. We do have proof that they existed and were destroyed, however, as we will look at a bit further on. First, it’s interesting to consider that Noah’s day and Lot’s day bore similar characteristics. We will, in this case, look basically at only one similarity: violence was rampant. Jesus said, by inference, that the time He is next revealed will be in a period of extreme violence. This is because Genesis chapter 6 said that violence filled the whole earth during the time just before the Flood that destroyed all but Noah and his family. It must have indeed been a murderous time, one when everyone did what was right in their own eyes, with little or no attention paid to God’s prescription for living. So we are looking at “proof” for the lawlessness—the violence that stems from throwing off God’s Law and instead doing what is right in our own, sinful eyes. Is there any evidence that this generation is coursing toward violence of such significant levels? Are we in the time like Noah’s day and Lot’s day that Jesus was talking about in the Olivet Discourse? (Matthew 24:36–42 and Luke 17:26–30). Are we at the very end of God’s holy patience, as were those earlier generations? The following excerpt of an article may give us a clue. Our violent, blood-soaked culture has produced a violent, blood-soaked reality in our streets. The final numbers for 2020 have finally been released by the FBI, and they are stunning. Prior to last year, the largest one-year increase in the murder rate in the United States was 12.7 percent, and that came all the way back in 1968. Needless to say, many of you that are reading this article were not even alive in 1968. Well, we didn’t just break the old record last year. We more than doubled it. According to the FBI’s annual report on crime, the nationwide murder rate was up about 29 percent in 2020… The United States in 2020 experienced the biggest rise in murder since the start of national record-keeping in 1960, according to data gathered by the FBI for its annual report on crime. The Uniform Crime Report will stand as the official word on an unusually grim year, detailing a rise in murder of around 29%. The previous largest one-year change was a 12.7% increase in 1968. (“The Largest One-Year Increase in Murder in the History of the United States,” by Michael Snyder, Prophecy News Watch, 9/24/21) In our book, LAWLESS: End-Times War Against the Spirit of Antichrist, a number of authors delineated the exponential increase in every sort of anti-God activity. Just since the recent release of that book, we witness even greater increase in violence in every direction as we look across the prophetic horizon. Thus, we must conclude that the answer to the consistent comments in the emails and the conversations have proof to back up the near-consensus. We are living at the very end of this Church Age (Age of Grace). Proof that God is dealing with absolute evil from which people refuse to repent now confronts the eyes of mankind, if we will believe what we see. Archaeologists have unearthed physical proof of what points to the destruction of Tell el-Hammam in the Jordan valley, the region of Sodom and Gomorrah in the Old Testament, and what they found was really wild. They found evidence of an incredible explosion that occurred in the skies above ancient Sodom, an explosion so intense that buildings down below were destroyed and things were literally vaporized… FROM THE JERUSALEM POST: Tell el-Hammam in the Jordan Valley might have inspired the story of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, according to a new study that has spanned 15 years. In the study, published in the journal Nature on Monday, archaeologists researched the remains of Tell el-Hammam in an attempt to discover what destroyed the ancient city during the Middle Bronze Age. During the period, there were roughly 50,000 people living in the area of the Jordan Valley in three cities: Tell el-Hammam, Jericho, and Tell Nimrin, with Tell el-Hammam the biggest of the three, implying that until its destruction, it would have been the political center of the area. Radiocarbon dating dates the destruction to within 50 years of 1650 BCE. Examination of the remains revealed evidence of a destructive event that involved high temperatures, such as pottery pieces that were melted and boiled on the exterior, but normal on the inside. The buildings of Tell el-Hammam were made of mud bricks, some five stories tall. In the upper part of the city, the destructive force demolished the buildings to the height of their foundations in the walls, and little mud-brick remained. Of the palace that was in this part of the city, the first-floor walls and the upper stories are missing, and most of the mud-brick was pulverized. Christ’s shout from above, “Come up here!” will instantaneously take all believers into His magnificent presence. Daily Jot: School boards demand terrorist designation for dissenters – Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com In recent days, both the National Association of Secondary School Principals and the National School Boards Association (NSBA) have called on the Biden Administration to take extraordinary actions against people demanding accountability of their local schools, even to the extent of designating dissenters as domestic terrorists. In a letter to Biden, the NSBA wrote: “As these acts of malice, violence, and threats against public school officials have increased, the classification of these heinous actions could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes.” Angry dissent on COVID 19 policies and teaching of Critical Race Theory—both encouraged by the Biden Administration—have prompted the requests. Americans would be wise to memorize the 10th Amendment, which states: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” It means that if it is not itemized in the Constitution, it is left to the states or to the people (that’s you and me) to decide. This is coming into play more and more each passing day where federal government is overstepping its bounds. One area that it has grown to immense overreaching and unconstitutional fiat is that of your local school. Public schools were supposed to be governed locally, but then the government got into the quid pro quo business with granting money for submitting to policy. As far back as 1647 when the Massachusetts Bay Colony mandated a school be established within each town, there have been school boards governing local schools. The federal government had no authority because it was left to the states and the people to decide. Then along came President Jimmy Carter, who established the Department of Education. DOE’s mission is to “establish policy for, administer and coordinate most federal assistance to education, collect data on US schools, and to enforce federal educational laws regarding privacy and civil rights.” In 2022 DOE has a proposed budget of about $153 BILLION. That’s a lot of federal clout for something that is supposed to be locally driven and accountable. So now principals and school boards are whining to the federal government because the people who elected or appointed them are trying to hold accountability. While there is no excuse for violence against schools or school boards, there is also no excuse for elected board members refusing to hear or demeaning those with dissenting opinions of their detrimental leftist policies. Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Public schools thirsting for federal money are training up our children with lies, sexual perversion, and unhealthy federal mandates. Elected overseers and principals must be held accountable locally. Write your local principal and school board members. Attend school board meetings. Defend your child’s interests. Jesus then made a promise that also applies to us today: “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life” (verses 29-30 NKJV). To loosely paraphrase, whatever you give up to follow Christ, God will replace it with something far better. It may be in this life—or it may not be. There will be tragedies, setbacks, and inexplicable things that happen to us and make no sense. But God promises that He will compensate. He will repay. He will make it up to us. And when we get to the afterlife, we’ll see how true that really is. One day it all will be sorted out. It all will make sense.
