If our world is not on a direct path to the fulfillment of Revelation 13:16-18, the only alternative is to assume that something with a striking and most uncanny resemblance to the mark of the beast will appear in the not-too-distant future.
 
In other words, if what the transhumanist propose for our world is not the prelude to the mark of the beast, then I do not know what would be. Their plans for the future fit like a glove with what the apostle John wrote about the mark of the beast.
 
The words of Revelation 13:16-18 represent a specific, detailed prophecy and that cannot reach its full fruition until after the antichrist begins his reign of terror during the seven-year tribulation. Even so, we already see Satan’s evil and deadly end-of-days’ design for humanity at work in the plans of those who seek to impose transhumanism upon us.
 
Why do I say that this prophecy is already in play? Continue reading as I make my case in this post and those that follow.
 
WHAT IS TRANSHUMANISM?
 
Transhumanism is the combining of machines and human beings.
 
David Tippett, a contributor to the World Economic Forum (WEF) website, described transhumanism in this way:
 
It is rooted in the belief that humans can and will be enhanced by the genetic engineering and information technology of today, as well as anticipated advances, such as bioengineering, artificial intelligence, and molecular nanotechnology. The result is an iteration of Homo sapiens enhanced or augmented, but still fundamentally human.
 
The central premise of transhumanism, then, is that biological evolution will eventually be overtaken by advances in genetic, wearable and implantable technologies that artificially expedite the evolutionary process.[i]
 
The globalists of our day propose to fundamentally change humanity through means that include the changing of the human DNA (i.e., “nanotechnology”). Contrary to what the WEF would have us believe, the end result of this artificial “biological evolution” will be something far different than what God created as well as what Jesus died on the cross to redeem.
 
Dr. Carrie Madej, in her April 19, 2021 video, defined transhumanism in a similar way as in the above quote, but also warned of its many dire consequences for our future as the elite of the world seek to exercise complete control of our behavior.[ii]
 
In November of 2017, an article appeared on the Forbes website with this title: Transhumanism and The Future of Humanity: 7 Ways the World Will Change By 2030. Here is a quote from the introduction of this article:
 
This transformation will be messy, complex, and sometimes scary, but signals already point to a future of humanity that will blur our identities into “transhumanism.”[iii]
 
Several disturbing statements regarding transhumanism emerge from this Forbes 2017 article. The assertion of the author that transhumanism will “blur our identities,” however, shocks me the most. It confirms the planned merging of machines with our bodies would remove what makes us human.
 
WHO IS BEHIND TRANSHUMANISM?
 
Lest you think that transhumanism is just the aspiration of a few mad scientists, please know that many of the most powerful and wealthy people in the world openly support the combining of humans and machines as the next step in the “evolutionary process.” This concept finds its most fervent and outspoken support in the WEF. Its website contains an abundance of information on the combining of humans with machines.
 
Please know that the WEF is not some obscure fringe group. President Biden ran for office under the theme of “Build Back Better;” a slogan he took directly from the WEF as an indication of his support for its agenda. John Kerry, a prominent member of Biden’s administration, has pledged the full support of the Biden administration to the Great Reset championed by the WEF.
 
An article on the New American website ties together the Great Reset advocated by the WEF and the Biden administration with the push for transhumanism:
 
Under the new world order envisioned by the proponents of the United Nations-backed “Great Reset,” humans will be merged with machines and technology. Literally. Perhaps most incredibly, the Deep State globalists behind the efforts are coming out of the closet. These days, they are openly and literally proclaiming their intention to abolish private ownership of property and even fuse microchips into people’s brains that will be able to read and manipulate individuals’ thoughts.[iv]
 
Please read the preceding quote again. It aptly summarizes my research and correctly connects the Great Reset of the WEF with its push for transhumanism through which it will “read and manipulate” the thoughts of those under it domain.
 
Notice also the reference to the “deep state” in the United States in the preceding quote; this refers to those in the U.S. who put Biden in office and now control his presidency. These elite globalists in the U.S. and throughout the world talk openly about their plans for both transhumanism and the Great Reset.
 
Consider this quote from the WEF website regarding the changes they plan for our world under what the WEF calls the “Fourth Industrial Revolutions,” their term for transhumanism:
 
The Fourth Industrial Revolution represents a fundamental change in the way we live, work and relate to one another. It is a new chapter in human development, enabled by extraordinary technology advances commensurate with those of the first, second and third industrial revolutions. These advances are merging the physical, digital and biological worlds in ways that create both huge promise and potential peril. The speed, breadth and depth of this revolution is forcing us to rethink how countries develop, how organizations create value and even what it means to be human.[v]
 
Though it may sound benign on the surface, the purpose of the “Fourth Industrial Revolution” is not to benefit humanity, no, not at all. It’s the vehicle through which the WEF, along with globalists at the United Nations and in America, hope to force people into accepting a tyrannical and Marxist government through which they intend to control the lives of everyone on the planet.
 
The Great Reset agenda necessitates augmenting humans in such a way that will allow those in power to monitor and control their behavior via external computer networks and artificial intelligence.
 
HOW WILL THE CHANGE HAPPEN?
 
How will these powerbrokers augment the makeup of human beings so as to merge them with machines? To answer that question, we begin with the words of Klaus Schwab of the WEF. In a January 10, 2016 interview, he explained “that human beings will soon receive a chip in their body in order to merge [them] with the digital world.” Below is another excerpt from this interview:
 
Schwab: “And at first, we will implant them in our clothes. And then we could imagine that we will implant them in our brains, or in our skin. And in the end, maybe, here will be a direct communication between our brain and the digital world. What we see is a kind of fusion of the physical, digital, and biological world.”
 
Interviewer: “We call someone, we don’t even have the reflex to take a device, it’s done naturally, the technique continues in the body.” Schwab: “Yes.
 
Interviewer: ”When will happen? Schwab: “Certainly in the next ten years.”[vi]
 
The following two points sum up the essence of transhumanism:
 
The process includes augmenting humans into something quite different than what God created as well as implanting a device inside them that will connect them to the digital world outside them.
 
The plan consists of connecting humans to the “digital world,” such as a supercomputer, that will monitor their behavior for the ultimate purpose of controlling it through the blending of people with machines.
 
At this point, however, it appears that these globalists might have a problem.
 
How do they put such a system in place? The vast majority of people would readily reject the changes that I have described in this post and rightly so. Some might desire the enhanced artificial intelligence that will come as the result of transhumanism, but not everything else that would come with it.
 
In part 2 of this series entitled Transhumanism: Why Should I care? I will describe the deceitful plan of the transhumanists that they intend to use in augmenting human beings into something currently unrecognizable.

In the aftermath of the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas after 11 days of fighting that left 12 Israelis and 248 Palestinians dead, and approximately 77,000 Gazans homeless, the Biden administration now wants to help. Secretary of State Antony Blinken headed to the Middle East this week but his purpose is not, as he claims, to revive the dead-in-the-water peace process between Israel and the Palestinians.
 
Rather, it's to ensure that the truce holds. According to President Joe Biden, Blinken will do so while simultaneously reaffirming "our ironclad commitment to Israel's security" while also continuing "our administration's efforts to rebuild ties, and support for, the Palestinian people, and leaders, after years of neglect."
 
There's a lot to unpack in that sentence. Biden's words signaled a shot at the administration of former President Donald Trump's closeness with Israel and attempt to hold the Palestinian Authority accountable for its support of terrorism. It also reflected a policy shift to a more "even-handed" approach to the conflict, while at the same time also attempting to claim that its support for Israel is unshaken.
 
Any statement that seeks to reassure both the sector of his party's base that is anti-Israel and Americans who support the Jewish state can't be said to amount to much. That's especially true since the administration's foreign-policy priority until last week was its ongoing efforts to reach a rapprochement with Iran, which would enable Tehran to have even more resources to give to Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad embedded in Gaza.
 
As Biden talks out of both sides of his mouth about the Middle East, it's clear that the one thing the administration is definitely intent on doing is to lead an international humanitarian effort to "rebuild" Gaza.
 
Doing so will be a way for Biden to show that he means what he says about supporting the Palestinians in such a way as to get credit from the growing faction of leftist Democrats who falsely think that Israeli counter-terror strikes in Gaza are the moral equivalent of Derek Chauvin kneeling on George Floyd's neck.
 
Biden clearly wants a policy that will appear to neither openly punish Israel nor reward Hamas. "Rebuilding" Gaza is, he thinks, the way to do it while advancing the creation of an independent Palestinian state in the West Bank and Jerusalem. Blinken and the other foreign-policy establishment luminaries that staff his administration still believe a two-state solution is the only way to prevent future outbreaks of fighting.
 
The fundamental mistake here is not just the notion that America can maintain its alliance with Israel while also being good friends with a Palestinian nationalist movement committed to the Jewish state's destruction. Rather, the immediate problem is that Biden and Blinken think they can aid the people of Gaza without helping or even rewarding Hamas.
 
They cannot. What's more, not only is that impossible, anything done to advance such an objective won't be just a tactical error that will give Hamas a short-term advantage. It will also send a message to all Palestinians that the long-term objective of Hamas--namely, the elimination of Israel--is not only still on the table, but a realistic future option towards which they should work.
 
As the international community learned after it devoted many billions of dollars to aid to reconstruct Gaza after the 2014 war, it was virtually impossible to ensure that the money helped ordinary Palestinians rather than their Hamas tyrants. There has never been an example in history of cash pouring into a totalitarian regime--exactly what the Islamist-ruled, independent Palestinian state in all but name that exists in Gaza truly is--that could be kept out of the clutches of the rulers in one way or another
 
Some homes destroyed because of Hamas's policy of using civilians as human shields were indeed rebuilt after 2014. But most of the building material that was let into the coastal enclave went into rebuilding the terrorist group's military infrastructure, including hundreds of kilometers of tunnels used for storing their armaments and providing shelters for their military personnel, though not civilians.
 
There is no reason to believe the next round of rebuilding will go any differently. Nor are there any grounds for believing that United Nations officials tasked with the job of guaranteeing that civilian needs are dealt with rather than those of Hamas, will do that.
 
While administration officials say they will try to force Hamas to choose between--in veteran peace processor Dennis Ross' words, "their rockets and the well-being of Gaza"--to even suggest that they would ever choose the latter over the former is to take leave of reality altogether. This attitude always results in foreign officials allowing money and material to pour into Gaza, where it will be used by Hamas to make it an even more formidable military target.
 
The problem is that Biden, Blinken, the foreign-policy establishment, the liberal media that echoes their arguments and even those left-wingers who are pressuring the administration to be tougher on Israel still don't understand what Hamas is after.
 
Blinken repeated this past weekend the pious hope that "there has to be" a prospect for a peaceful solution between Israel and Hamas. Some claim that Hamas is actually much more pragmatic than their Islamist ideology and wants a modus vivendi with the Jewish state, citing their willingness to accept a Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza. But while Hamas is always practical when it comes to their survival and day-to-day tactics, their goals are unchanged.
 
As deputy chairman of the Hamas "political bureau" Musa Abu Marzouk stated in an interview last week (translated by MEMRI), this latest conflict is just one more among many other "wars" to come in pursuit of their ultimate goal: Israel's elimination. Saying that his group was not composed of "dreamers," he said that Israel will go the way of the Berlin Wall and the apartheid-era South African government.
 
"We are no dreamers. Until recently, they mocked Hamas's rockets and called them children's toys. I do not believe anyone is saying this today. Until recently, the whole world supported the white government in South Africa, but things have changed. Where did the Soviet Union go? Where did the Berlin Wall go? The day will come when people ask: 'Where did Israel go?' "
 
He's serious. So are Hamas supporters and those in the West Bank who would prefer it to Abbas. And every step towards normalizing Hamas, rather than isolating and defeating it, is a signal to a Palestinian people who have been sold such fantasies for the last 100 years that their long war to defeat Zionism is not yet lost.
 
Rebuilding Gaza may help some Palestinians, but it will also enable Hamas to assert that there were no long-term consequences for their actions. By repeating the mistakes made by every administration prior to that of Trump, and reinforcing expectations that the West will not punish the Palestinians for terrorism and rejecting peace, Biden is not advancing a two-state solution.
 
To the contrary, he will be making peace even more impossible by indicating to the Palestinians that they don't have to surrender to reality and accept Israel's permanence and legitimacy. So-called humanitarian policies that are rooted in the pretense that the people there can be aided without requiring them to overthrow their Islamist masters is money spent on enabling Hamas, not peace or the welfare of the Palestinians.
 
It's hard to resist arguments that appeal to our sympathy for those who are caught in the crossfire created by Hamas terrorism, even when they are not made in the context of appeals to delegitimize Israel's right to exist or to defend itself. Nevertheless, the best thing Biden can do to actually advance the cause of peace is to not spend a cent on rebuilding the terrorist state in Gaza.

We looked last week at the world’s diplomatic cabal increasingly moving toward a consensus against the state of Israel. Since the time of that writing, the energy devoted by the globalist-elite diplomats has increased in condemnation of the Jewish state.
 
This is the nucleus issue to consider as most key to where the world stands on God’s prophetic timeline.
 
The nations of the world more and more moving in that direction is a general trend that has been witnessed for decades. Israel is always condemned by majority vote whenever such votes are called for in the UN General Assembly. But, it seems to me that “general trend” has now moved into an operation in which the Zechariah 12 prophecy can be seen as pointed to by the prophetic finger of God in a specific way.
 
Let’s again look at that prophecy:
 
The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretched forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. (Zechariah 12:1–3)
 
We believe that the ultimate turning of the world against God’s chosen people, Israel, will come during the Tribulation. In particular, that total turn against all Jews will take place, led by Antichrist, himself, during the second half of that seven-year period.
 
The Man of Sin will, at the three and one-half year mark of that era, sit in the Temple and declare himself to be God. The most horrendous period in all of history will then begin as the dictator unleashes all-out genocide. It will be far worse, according to the words of Jesus, than even the Nazis’ Final Solution during the Holocaust.
 
In dissecting Zechariah’s prophecy, it can be said that, for decades, Israel has been a “cup of trembling unto all the people round about.” The Mideast is feared by the world’s leaders to be the chief worry so far as a future ignition point for nuclear war. Israel, it is known by all, has its Samson Option, in which resides a nuclear arsenal the Jewish leadership will be willing to use in defense of Israel’s existence. And it is fear well-founded, both by the world’s leadership and by Israel’s leaders, because the Islamic-led neighbors of Israel declare consistently and constantly that they will wipe the Jewish nation from the map.
 
Most maps of the region that are held by anti-Israeli Arab-Islamic nations don’t even have the Jewish state represented as part of them. So Israel is by any stretch already a “cup of trembling” as predicted by Zechariah.
 
But, for our purposes here, I would like us to consider Zechariah’s words “burdensome stone.” It seems to me that there might be more to this statement than meets the proverbial eye.
 
There is a giant stone in Jerusalem, right in the middle of the whole Israel-versus-the-world controversy, in my view. It is called Mount Moriah, and also is known as the Temple Mount.
 
Not only is it the center of the great tectonic pressures that rub Israel against its enemies, it is the “burdensome stone” for God versus Satan and fallen mankind.
 
The Temple Mount is where God, Himself, dwelt in the Holy of Holies. His shekinah glory resided within that fifteen-foot-cubed inner sanctum within the Ark of the Covenant. Mount Moriah was God’s touchstone to humanity.
 
When His Son, Jesus the Christ—the Lamb that takes away the sins of the world—was sacrificed on Calvary’s cross, the Temple veil rent from top to bottom, indicating that God had provided a way for redemption and reconciliation with all of fallen man.
 
Mount Moriah is indeed a “burdensome stone” and is prophetically scheduled to become the trigger point for all-out satanic rage against God’ chosen people and all of mankind.
 
I believe God is allowing Moriah to be seen more and more in our headlines to show believers just how near we are to the wrap-up of this Age of Grace.
 
Here is a news excerpt that I believe proves my contention.
 
The Hamas’ al-Qassam Brigades has issued a new ultimatum to Israel on Wednesday: Withdraw from Al-Aqsa Mosque and Sheikh Jarrah or “100 times” more rockets will be fired at 6 pm towards new targets.
 
The Al-Aqsa mosque, which sits on the Temple Mount, was a flashpoint of violent confrontations between Muslim worshippers and Israeli security forces since the beginning of Ramadan about a month ago.
 
The site, which is the holiest to Jews, made headlines recently after a massive blaze was seen next to the mosque apparently caused by fireworks that were ignited at the site. Israel has yet to respond to Hamas’ latest ultimatum…Leave Temple Mount or 100 times more rockets will fly. (“Hamas with Ultimatum to Israel: ‘Leave Temple Mount or 100 times more rockets will fly,’” Israel365 | May 12, 2021)
 
So there is indeed a large “burdensome stone” to be considered. It is a great rock of offense, as Jesus Himself has been termed by those who are anti-God. Look for the Temple Mount to be more and more front and center in the days ahead.
 
And, from this, just know how very near must be Christ’s call to the Church (Luke 21: 28).

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war with the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.
 
It can be easy to become discouraged today. There are many evils in this world, and so much can strike fear in the heart of even the most faithful soldier of the Lord. Wickedness seems to have no bounds. Babies are casually murdered in the womb, God’s standard of marriage is being trampled, and it’s politically incorrect to upset those who worship demonic gods, such as allah, while we keep our faith in Jesus Christ a secret. Add to all of this a pandemic that seems to be shutting down the world and paving the way for the events described in Revelation to take place. Israel is attacked, but when they fight to protect themselves, they are condemned. There are many end-time prophecies that are on the verge of being fulfilled, but instead of seeing these events as a rallying cry, Christians are silent. Christians are growing weaker in faith because many pastors don’t teach Scripture from the pulpit. Rather than standing firm on Scripture, they have compromised Biblical truth as they embrace practices like yoga, which is satanic in nature, and ideas like the emerging church, new age, meditation, purpose driven, replacement theology, anti-Semitism, and more. The watered-down theology has left Christians unsure of what they believe and why. Prophecy is ignored, so things happening in the world today frighten most Christians. You have no need to fear if you trust God. Scripture tells us that there will be tribulation in the world, but Satan won’t win. In fact, he’s already lost. The Lord wins. Christians need to do our part for Him and not side with the enemy. Our faith must not be compromised. “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” Ephesians 6:10. Our strength is in God and He won’t lose.
 
THE BATTLE BELONGS TO THE LORD,

Weapons of the world won’t win spiritual battles. We see and hear people all around us singing the praises of evil…newscasters, politicians, Hollywood stars, musicians, and more have much to say that promotes Satan’s work. Remember, these people are not the enemy. They only promote the enemy’s lies. The true enemy is Satan and his minions. The battle is spiritual and it must be fought with spiritual weapons. God makes His weapons available to every Christian, but it’s up to us to pick them up, put them on, and learn to use them effectively. “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:11. No soldier can effectively fight in battle if he doesn’t know how to use the weapons of war. In the world today, a musket would be ineffective against a tank. Soldiers must learn to use modern weapons to win battles. So must the Christian soldier learn to use spiritual weapons for spiritual battles. How do you learn to use them? Study Scripture, including prophecy. Understand that you are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, and He will guide you in battle. Learn to listen to His voice. Be bold in standing upon God’s truth, and don’t be ashamed of your faith. You may lose friends because of your faith, but stand firm. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16. If you’re ashamed to speak out for Jesus, then you are weakening your spiritual weapons and siding with Satan.
 
When the power of darkness comes in like a flood

Think of all the wicked things that are done in darkness. Robberies, murders, pornography, and more were once cloaked in the shadows of night, but people today seem to be less concerned about hiding in the dark to do evil. Satan is behind all evil. The darkness of Satan has nothing to do with whether the sun is shining or not. Satan is evil and the darkness that surrounds him is spiritual darkness. There is a much stronger power than the darkness of evil, and that power is found in the blood of Jesus Christ. What movies do you watch? What words do you use? What music do you listen to? Do the things you write on your heart glorify God, or numb you to the wiles of the devil? Instead of the darkness of sin, fully turn your life over to Jesus and find power in the blood He shed for your salvation. “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:” Colossians 1:12-14. Satan has no power over us when we are in Christ. His blood paid for our redemption and the Holy Spirit is sealed in us. Keep your heart, mind, and soul tuned to Jesus and the power of darkness will flee.

There are many war stories from various battles throughout history where victory seemed out of reach. The battle seemed lost, but then a soldier remembered what he was fighting for and rallied his fellow soldiers to not be discouraged and to fight harder. The battle was won. Christianity also has war stories of men, and women, who never forget that God will win the war, but understand their part in the battle. Men like the Apostle Peter who did just as Jesus told him to do, “Feed My sheep” and fed them on the pure word of God. The Apostle Paul carried God’s truth to the Gentiles, and, as a Gentile, I appreciate his courage. Brave soldiers took Christ’s command seriously and the Gospel was shared. “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:18-20. They preached the Gospel just as Jesus commanded, armed with the spiritual weapons of war. As time marched on, many politicians and religions tried to stop the spread of God’s truth. Men like Martin Luther bravely shouldered the spiritual weapons and fought for God’s truth. Have you ever heard the battle stories of Brother Andrew? He smuggled Bibles into Soviet countries, and now smuggles Bibles into Muslim nations. He’s 93 and still spreading the Gospel. Most of the “missionaries” today need to get back to Scripture and preach the Gospel instead of using gimmicks and works hoping that lost people will get the hint that they need Jesus.

Never stop singing His praises. Songs can keep you courageous when facing the power of the enemy. Sing praises to Jesus Christ who won the victory for you. He will never leave you. Remember when Paul was arrested in Philippi and was beaten and chained in the prison? The powers of darkness thought they had silenced Paul and Silas. “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.” Acts 16:25. These men could not be silenced. Then an earthquake struck, making escape from the dungeon possible. That would have meant the jailer would be put to death. Because the other inmates heard the songs and prayers of Paul and Silas, they didn’t escape. The jailer was amazed. Because of the songs, prayers, and integrity of Paul and Silas, the jailer gave his life to Christ. Another spiritual battle was fought and a lost soul came to salvation through Jesus. Today the strong soldiers who won’t compromise God’s word, those who share the Gospel and teach God’s truth, are hard to find. Gimmicks are used instead of Scripture and God’s word is compromised. Many Christians are rusty in using the weapons of spiritual warfare, because they forget to study and apply Scripture. Take heart, God won’t lose.
 
What are the spiritual weapons? They’re armor provided by God. “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:11-12. The enemy is Satan and his minions…not people. The battlefield is the human soul and the enemy seems fierce, but God won’t lose. To fight in this war effectively, you must train to use the spiritual weapons of God. “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.” Ephesians 6:13-18. The instructions for using these weapons are found in Scripture. Study it from Genesis through Revelation and apply it to your life. The battle may rage and the enemy may seem strong, but God won’t lose.
 
Will you join me as I raise my voice in praise of Jesus Christ, the Commander in Chief of this army of believers? Will you Join me in battle against an unseen enemy who seeks only to destroy all of mankind? Our weapons are sufficient for victory because they are provided by God Himself. Don’t compromise His word. Victory is assured because God won’t lose.

This country is experiencing years of prolonged derision by loud bullies who label everyone who disagrees with them with terrible accusations. Ignoring any semblance of constructive civil conversation, they have weaponized sex, race, and politics, using them as justification to foment violence, defy the civil protections of law, and censure the speech of those who do not share their views. Now, we are witnessing before us the demonization of Jews by the Hollywood elite, elected officials, and tech giants who censure speech on behalf of Israel, but not hate speech against Israel. It took the American president five days to condemn violence against Jews, but he didn’t condemn those who committed the violence.
 
The Hill reports that The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) says reporting of antisemitic incidents has jumped 63 percent since the start of the 11-day conflict between Israel and Hamas. Even more disturbing is the trend on social media. ADL reports over 17,000 Tweets with variations of the phrase “Hitler was right” from May 7-14. ADL says that there is extreme content calling for the destruction of Israel and posts saying “Gas the Kikes race war now.” There has been violence committed against Jews across the nation—Los Angeles, Skokie, Il., Chicago, New York, and in other small towns. The ADL reports that many of these incidents were done by flag-waving, pro-Palestinian protestors who video recorded their attacks.
 
Reports indicate that Hamas, the US-designated terrorist group that controls the Gaza Strip, fired more than 4,400 rockets into Israel from May 10-21, killing at least 13 and sending millions into bomb shelters. Yet, the Biden Administration is supporting Hamas with your tax dollars. Biden said in a statement that the Secretary of State “will continue our Administration’s efforts to rebuild ties to, and support for, the Palestinian people and leaders, after years of neglect. And he will engage other key partners in the region, including on the coordinated international effort to ensure immediate assistance reaches Gaza in a way that benefits the people there and not Hamas, and on reducing the risk of further conflict in the coming months.” This ignores the fact that all financial aid in Gaza must pass through Hamas, which distributes the aid.
 
Those accusing others of being like Nazis are themselves behaving like Nazis. It is not just the vitriol against Jews, although this is prophetically explicit, it is an overall assault on law-abiding, peace-loving, God-fearing Americans. It is an offensive against the American ideal and way of life. We in America, who love God and His liberty, need to stand up to this most dangerous trend. The censorship of ideas; the weaponization of disagreement; the hate for fellow citizens; are all ingredients of destruction. We are better than this. As Ephesians 6:10 says, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of HIS might.” Verse 13 exhorts us to take up the whole armor of God, that “you may be able to withstand the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Yes, we must.

Years ago I was in military school and lived on campus. Every Sunday morning we would go to church, and they would give each of us a dime to put in the offering. So I went to Sunday school with my dime, thinking, “I don’t really want to give this dime. I want to use it for myself.”
 
So when the offering plate went by, I kept the dime. Then I went to the canteen and bought licorice with it. But I couldn’t even finish it because I felt so guilty.
 
Even then, with as little as I knew about God, I knew that money belonged to Him.
 
When you send your children to church or Sunday school with a little money to put in the offering, they learn the importance of giving. And even children need to learn how to give.
 
Paul wrote to the believers in Corinth, “Now regarding your question about the money being collected for God’s people in Jerusalem. You should follow the same procedure I gave to the churches in Galatia. On the first day of each week, you should each put aside a portion of the money you have earned. Don’t wait until I get there and then try to collect it all at once” (1 Corinthians 16:1–2 NLT).
 
These Christians gave on a regular basis. In the same way, we should set something apart for the kingdom of God out of every paycheck. After all, we set money aside for taxes (or at least we should). We set money aside for expenses. We have a budget of some kind that we operate by.
 
But it’s amazing how many people, even Christians, think nothing of neglecting to set anything apart for the Lord.
 
I don’t think it’s legalistic to give regularly to the Lord. Rather, I think it’s good planning and obedience.
