On June 27, 1969, Life magazine published the pictures of the 242 U.S. soldiers who died in the Vietnam conflict from May 28 through June 3, 1969. I was sixteen at the time and to this day I recall the haunting effect that the faces of those young men had on me.
 
The striking display brought the horrors of war to life for everyone who saw the display.
 
Today, we find ourselves in the midst of another battle that’s far more deadly than the one in Southeast Asia so long ago. It’s Satan versus humanity.
 
It also has its victims, faces that often flash across social media before the censors delete them in one way or another.
 
For me, many of the images in this conflict remain unforgettable.
 
FACES IN THE WAR AGAINST BIBLE-BELIEVING CHRISTIANS
 
Though it gets little attention in the U.S., Muslims in Nigeria have killed many believers in this nation. Some estimate that they have martyred three thousand in 2021 alone. I recall one particular image on social media of men carrying the caskets of their slain fellow believers. I will not soon forget the expressions of grief and resolve on their faces. I also remember the picture of a Nigerian pastor sitting at his desk before radicals took his life because he refused to deny Jesus.
 
The war against Bible-believing Christians in the U.S. looks different at the moment, but may also turn deadly.
 
If you listen to the mainstream media, you’re likely to get the impression that it’s only evangelical Christians who resist the vaccine and are thereby solely to blame for the mounting COVID deaths. The reality is that only half of the population in America has received the injections; it’s not just believers who are resisting the push to receive the jab. I know of many outside the faith that adamantly oppose the mRNA injections.
 
However, frustration is mounting in the U.S. government as the resistance grows even stronger. I witnessed the enraged demeanor of Joe Biden as he rushed to a microphone to loudly and repeatedly proclaim that the “unvaccinated are killing people.” Perhaps he does not know that a significant percentage of people in hospitals as a result of COVID are fully vaccinated!
 
I believe that eventually the blame for COVID deaths will fall on Bible-believing Christians regardless of their vaccination status. If there ever was a time heed Jesus’ words in Matthew 10:16, it is now: We must be “wise as serpents and innocent as doves.” Ephesians 6:10-18 tells us we already participate in this war, but it’s about to become much more real as the hostility toward us ramps up.
 
FACES IN THE WAR AGAINST MANKIND
 
Of all the faces that I have recently seen, the most haunting are those who have died in a related battle; they have died as the direct result of the mRNA shots. I have seen dozens of such pictures on social media and heard scores of stories from grieving loved ones as well as from those permanently injured as a result of the vaccine. In a few cases that I have heard or read about, past injuries or bouts with cancer have roared back to inflict the recipients of these jabs.
 
The CDC itself reports that 10,991 people in the United States have died as a result of the COVID-19 injections through early July 2021 and that 9,274 recipients are now permanently disabled because of them. (The death count in the Europe Union currently stands at 20,525 from the COVID-19 shots.)
 
Can you imagine the impact of a magazine spread of the pictures of the thousands who have perished as a result of receiving the vaccine in just the United States?
 
The CDC attempts to justify the high death toll by saying it represents a small percentage of all those injected. The mainstream media runs stories of happy recipients of the COVID-19 vaccine who encourage others to take the wonderful injections.
 
Imagine if you will, that back in the summer of 1969 the mainstream media has countered the spread of pictures in Life magazine by reporting that the weekly death toll from Vietnam reflected a very low percentage of our soldiers in Southeast Asia. What if they ran interviews with veterans who had safely returned from the conflict as proof that the war was not nearly as dangerous as the naysayers claimed it was? The outcry from such scandalous and hurtful reporting would have been tremendous, and rightly so.
 
But is that not exactly how the CDC and media currently treat the suffering and deaths that have resulted from the COVID-19 vaccines? Is that not precisely what the mainstream is doing at this very moment? It surely is, without a doubt, and it’s equally despicable.
 
Dr. Peter McCollough, a professor at the Texas A&M school of medicine and one of the leading cardiologists in all of America, believes the death count from the COVID-19 jabs is closer to 50,000 in the U.S. alone. He claims to have a source inside the CDC that confirms this number of fatalities, which is remarkably close to the casualty count from the Vietnam war.
 
Moderna received 300,000 reports of adverse side affects from its mRNA injection in just the first three months that it was available.
 
Why, then, are the powerbrokers of our day so eager to see that everyone receives the highly dangerous mRNA injections? Yes, most have not yet died or suffered severe injuries from these “vaccines,” but should not the high casualty numbers allow us the option of refusing them? Why are governments so insistent on making these injections mandatory when they have a real, genuine possibility of killing people and we do not yet know the long-term effects of them due to the lack of testing on them?
 
Consider the following quote from an article written by Tyler Durden, a writer for the ZeroHedge website. Below he explores reasons for the over-the-top push to see that everyone, without exception, receives the jab.
 
If a large population of millions of people remain unvaccinated after the next couple of years, then they will represent a sizable and undeniable control group. A control group is a group of subjects that act as a pure sample untouched by a drug or vaccine experiment. If the vaccinated group becomes ill or dies from specific conditions and the control group does not have those same conditions, then that is a pretty good sign that your vaccine or drug is poison.
 
My concern is that Klaus Schwab’s reset agenda is impossible to enforce in a permanent way unless the human population is greatly reduced over a short period of time (a generation or two). Globalists are constantly talking about population control and reduction. Elites like Bill Gates are famous for it. Is it any wonder that they would devise a plan to institute it?
 
What if, as many experts have suggested, the vaccine side effects create this condition of a diminishing population? What if they are meant to? We will not know for certain for a couple of years at least as autoimmune disorders and infertility take time to become visible in a population. [i]
 
IT’S SATAN
 
Daymond Duck, in his August 1 article on the Rapture Ready website entitled It’s Satan, began with these words:
 
The writer of this article was recently asked, “Why do the globalists who are supposed to be very intelligent make decisions that are so clearly wrong?”
 
Most don’t realize it, but Satan is behind their evil.
 
He has blinded them to the extent that they don’t believe the Bible is the Word of God.
 
The enemy of our soul lies behind the war against Bible-believing Christians and the truths of God’s Word. His murderous designs and mass deception should not surprise us; Jesus described the devil this way in John 8:44, “He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”
 
However, there’s exceedingly good news in all of us who trust Jesus alone as our Savior. The stepped-up activity of Satan that we see in our world tells us we live in the last days of human history as we know it. This means the seven-year tribulation is right at our door; we already see its shadow growing darker by the day.
 
And if the day of the Lord’s wrath is near, that means Jesus’ return for us must be ever so close. He will not allow His church to endure the judgments of this period of time; He’s coming for us very soon.
 
Yes, much death and destruction lie ahead for the world in which we live; we may see more of it before our rapid departure from planet earth.
 
Our ultimate expectation, however, is the imminent return of Jesus to take us to the place He’s preparing for us (John 14:1-3). Do not let anyone steal that glorious anticipation from you; the pretribulation rapture is the blessed hope of the Gospel (Titus 2:11-14).

It's a question millions of Americans are grappling with in their personal finances. It's also a multi-trillion dollar question facing officials in Washington, D.C.
 
How they decide to answer it - or evade it, as the case may be - will have profound implications for investors and anyone who holds U.S. dollars.
 
For months, the financial media has been running stories about how the pandemic led to a surge in savings. The U.S. consumer, thanks to a host of government supports including stimulus checks, student loan debt relief, and eviction and foreclosure moratoriums, is supposedly in great shape.
 
Why, then, are Americans taking on new debt at the fastest pace in over a decade?
 
The Federal Reserve reported this week that household debt surged during the second quarter by the most in 14 years. Much of that is represented by mortgage debt as buyers take on ever more in order to be able to buy homes that are rising rapidly in price.
 
Some perpetual optimists rationalize surging mortgage balances as sign of a strong jobs and housing market - forgetting how badly things can turn out (and did in 2008) when financial system leverage becomes excessive.
 
It's not just houses people are speculating on with borrowed money. Margin debt at brokerage houses has surged. And according to Fed data, credit card balances grew by $17 billion while auto loans surged by $33 billion in the past year.
 
All told, Americans owe about $15 trillion - and that, of course, doesn't include their share of the swelling national debt owed by the U.S. Treasury.
 
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen announced Wednesday she would be pursuing emergency measures to raise $126 billion and avoid breaching the Congressionally imposed debt ceiling. The government owes $28.6 trillion on the heels of a record a record $3.4 trillion budget deficit.
 
The Treasury's accounting maneuvers will, for now, avert a disastrous debt default. And, like so many times before, Congress will eventually raise the debt ceiling to enable more Biden administration borrowing - even if it's a last-minute deal passed over the objections of fiscal conservatives.
 
To expect politicians to ever impose meaningful fiscal discipline on themselves is to ignore all recent history. Regardless of whether Democrats or Republicans happen to be in charge at any given time, the spending never stops, and the debt always expands.
 
That doesn't mean Washington can continue its fiscally profligate ways in perpetuity without serious consequences.
 
The ultimate consequence may be a currency crisis as the Fed's own ongoing extraordinary measures of buying up government bonds triggers a slide in confidence in the U.S. dollar itself.
 
Since Federal Reserve Notes are no longer backed by gold or silver or anything tangible, maintaining their value is literally a confidence game.
 
Of course, having the world's largest economy and military with global trade conducted mostly in dollars, combined with the IRS's power to tax in dollars, goes a long way toward bolstering confidence that lots of people will continue to need dollars.
 
Thanks to its privileged position on the world stage, the U.S. has been able to forestall a currency crisis for longer than many sound money advocates would have thought possible.
 
But as the country's debt rises faster than its GDP and interest rates remain artificially depressed below the inflation rate, the value of the currency has nowhere to go but down.
 
No emergency accounting maneuvers by bureaucrats will be able to bail the system out from what's coming. All they can do is try to keep kicking the can down the road. But the end of the road may be approaching.
 
Investors need to be prepared for what happens next.
 
A sharp rise in inflation has already occurred over the past year as a result of expansionary fiscal and monetary policies.
 
While Fed Chairman Jerome Powell assures the recent inflation spike is just "transitory," the government's financial predicament is more aptly described as intractable.
 
There is no political will to stop the deficit spending or pay down the national debt. And there is no way for officials to maintain their growing debt load other than by inflating the currency supply.
 
The only question is whether they will be successful in engineering a gradual, orderly decline in the value of the dollar... or whether they will one day lose control as the currency collapses.

 


 

 
A Bow Without Arrows? – Bill Perkins – www.compass.org
 
“And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went out conquering, and to conquer.” Revelation 6:2
 
Revelation 6 is the chapter that begins the 7-year Tribulation. This is the time of sorrow that follows the removal of God’s Holy Spirit from the earth.
 
It's at this time that a new dispensation, a new time period, begins without the presence of God’s Holy Spirit on the earth restraining wholesale evil.
 
The chapter begins with the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. They begin the horrific carnage by immediately bringing almost inconceivable death and destruction to a lost and confused world.
 
It's hard to get your arms around it, but literally some two billion people die in the first two years after the Rapture! Four billion people die before the mid-point of the 7 year tribulation. (Rev. 6:8; Rev. 9:18)
 
So it's interesting that the first horseman rides surreptitiously onto the world scene on a white horse, symbolizing peaceful intentions. He comes as a knight in shining armor to save the world.
 
What’s Going On?
 
To get the context of what’s going on at this point, let’s do a quick review of what happens just after the Believers exit.
 
In the world's confusion taking place after the Rapture and with the USA severely compromised from so many people vanishing in the twinkling of an eye, Russia, Iran and other countries seize the opportunity to invade Israel using nuclear weapons (Ezek 38 & 39).
 
Israel mightily defeats this invasion and then seizes her own opportunity to rid herself of the rest of the nations that have sworn to defeat her.
 
One by one in quick nuclear precision, Israel begins taking out the rest of her surrounding enemies. The Muslims begin begging the world that somebody, anybody, would get Israel to stop wiping them out because they're sitting ducks for Israel’s military.
 
Out of nowhere, one man comes forth with a solution. He offers Israel anything she wants if she’ll just stop the carnage.
 
Eager to secure her long-sought national peace, Israel negotiates the right to rebuild her Temple on Mt. Moriah and also gains a 7-year peace treaty guaranteed and backed by five European and five Middle Eastern nations. (Dan. 2—see feet/toes in enclosed image)
 
The world rejoices at this world peace, and this New World Leader accepts more and more power given to him. This is where Revelation 6:2 picks up.
 
Empowered by his stunning success, this newly anointed leader is pictured coming in on a white horse to save the post-rapture world. But oddly he comes conquering with a bow without arrows.
 
How do you defeat your enemies without killing them on the battlefield with arrows? You can't take a gun to battle without bullets!
 
The context of these Four Horsemen in Rev. 6:1-8 implies they’re all bearing deadly weapons because they’re portrayed as mortal threats to mankind.
 
Yet God’s Holy Spirit inspired John the Revelator to describe the first horseman with only a bow in his hand. What’s with that??
 
The Answer
 
When you look up the word “bow” in the original Greek it’s “toxon, tox´-on.” Strong’s 5115. Our English word “toxic” comes directly from the Greek word “toxikon,” which means “a poison-tipped arrow.”
 
The Latin word means the same thing:
 
Turns out the Greeks were known for dipping their arrows in deadly toxic poisons to kill people, even if the arrow barely nicked them.
 
So the reason the New World Leader comes in on a white horse is to deceive the world. And the reason he doesn’t need arrows is because he has a toxic bow—a poison-tipped arrow. Or in today's vernacular, a poison-tipped syringe!
 
Apparently the world will be deluded into believing the vaccine will save them after the Rapture, even though they have no clue what’s in it.
 
Maybe that’s the falsehood the world believes after the Rapture: “Take the shot, it’s good for you"—even if it doesn't make any sense! They'll be deluded!
 
For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, 2Th. 2:11
 
But then again, who would take a shot without really knowing what’s really in it?

Have you ever thought of suddenly, through some twist of destiny, finding yourself the possessor of a fortune? What would you do if you had the financial means to spend large amounts of money in any way you wanted?
 
Then, when the daydream fades, you are back to business as usual, and it sure isn’t big business in terms of dollars to spend. Lightning in the sense of being struck by sudden riches just isn’t in your future. The return to reality moves you back into the realm of things as they are—having to deal with the ups and downs of life—the pains, problems, debt, and all the rest.
 
The return to earth might evoke several responses. You might be bitter, trying to live an upright life while seeing those who are living hedonistic lifestyles having wealth, multiple luxuriant dwellings in exotic parts of the world, etc. The thought might be that just isn’t fair, and that’s the end of this particular daydream. Or, the conviction might burn a bit into your spirit, scolding mildly that you should be content with the fact that you have enough to get through the day just ahead—while many are much less fortunate than yourself. Or you might have the sort of temperament that simply laughs at the foolishness of such trips into fantasy, then once again put your shoulder to the wheel, or whatever task that you confront.
 
Even in America, the most materially blessed nation of human history, life, particularly during these seemingly insane times, can present a bleak future. That is, it can be considered a bleak future to believers who know and acknowledge the evil times in which we find ourselves.
 
We, of all people on this self-destructing planet, however, should recognize this time of evil is essential to the fulfillment of God’s prophetic Word. But the majority of believers–each and every one a child of God—either don’t have a clue of what the reprobate thinking and actions of this wicked generation mean for the future, or else go about not even aware that such a condition exists.
 
The pulpits are all too often silent on the wickedness. Those in the pews are immersed for the most part in society-saturated cares that obscure the evil of their circumstance. Thus spiritual discernment is either inhibited or completely obliterated.
 
Every child of God should be fully mindful of the future that awaits. For if we can truly grasp what’s ahead, our self-centeredness in immersing ourselves in the cares of our troubled lives would absolutely fade under Heaven’s enlightenment.
 
That is because we have within us the Holy Spirit, the third member of the Godhead whom the Lord Jesus sent to indwell us upon His ascension. The Holy Spirit Inspired Paul, the great apostle, to write the following:
 
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (Romans 8 14–18)
 
If we could only understand the above message as deeply as desires our Heavenly Father, whom we have a right to call Abba (equivalent of the most intimate term, “Daddy,” in the Hebrew), we would be totally sold out to accomplishing our Daddy’s holy will while representing Him here on earth.
 
Do you understand the meaning of these words from the heart of our Father? If you believe in Jesus Christ—God’s grace gift to anyone who will accept that unfathomable sacrifice on Calvary’s cross—you are forever in Abba’s family. Not only that, you are as closely related to your heavenly “Daddy” as is our Savior—our Big Brother (who, in some eternal sense, is also the Bridegroom to the Church).
 
One great preacher of the past explains a bit further.
 
Yet, further, to illustrate the full meaning of the joint heirship-suppose, after the via had been proved and acknowledged to be right, it shall be found in winding up the affairs of the testator, that nothing is left to distribute-suppose, after all this boast and talk about being heirs, the property should be nil, or there should even be found a debt against the estate-what then? Why, my brethren, if we get nothing, Christ gets nothing; if there should for us, there is no heaven for Christ. If there should be no thrones for us, there would be no throne for him; if the promise should utterly fail of fulfillment to the least of the joint heritors, it must also fail of accomplishment to our Lord Jesus Christ himself. Be the property much or little, we are co-heirs; if there be infinite treasures, Christ hath them, and we have them; but if there be no treasure whatever, and faith should end in disappointment, and hope in despair, the calamity which impoverishes us must also impoverish our great co-heir. When we are poor, and in eternity have no shelter; when we in the next world shall find no heaven and no bliss,-then, wandering as outcast orphans, we shall see our Elder Brother an outcast orphan too; if we be portionless and penniless, the Firstborn among many brethren must be portionless and penniless also, for with him we stand or we fall…
 
Poor prodigal sinner, may our Father bring thee home, for there is an inheritance even for thee. “Believe on the Lord Jesus and thou shalt be saved.”

Our inheritance is infinite. All that belongs to Jesus belongs to us. And we could inherit it all at any second, as we live in these times during which all the signals of the Second Coming of our Lord are in view. Now that is indeed a reason to praise Him! And it is why we should get our minds and spiritual hearts upon the work before us at this critical time so near His appearing. Let us put aside frivolous things in our ever-increasing effort to bring many to so great salvation!

Former president Barak Obama had his 60th birthday bash at his $12 million oceanfront estate in Martha’s Vineyard. Side note: wasn’t he the one who told us all that the global warming crisis will soon permanently flood the coasts? I guess he solved that problem for Martha’s Vineyard folks, but I digress. A bunch of leftist politicians and Hollywood elites braved the threat of global warming by flying in on private jets (Pelosi-style) for the party. No masks. No social distancing against the backdrop of his former vice president, now president, Joe Biden encouraging vaccine mandates, mask mandates, and considering more lockdowns. But Obama was always a “do as I say, not as I do” kind of guy. It’s the Marxist way.
 
The White House has repeatedly said it would not do a nationwide vaccine or mask mandate. In the same breath Biden’s people say communities and businesses are encouraged to implement their own mandates. We have seen this in action where corporations like Walmart, Google, Facebook, Tyson Foods and United Airlines have announced vaccine mandates for some or all of their employees. In New York, a vaccine passport will be required later in the month for people to go to a restaurant or other public gatherings. Some localities are mulling over mask mandates and vaccine requirements for school children. Some companies are considering a vaccine surcharge to be deducted from paychecks of employees who do not get vaccinated. Why should the government jack boot its countrymen when businesses will willingly do it for them?
 
Or how about those unvaccinated people? Politicians and Hollywood elites are demonizing those who have chosen not be vaccinated. Media have called for firings of those who refuse to be vaccinated. The government has threatened door to door goons to fan out in neighborhoods, making lists of people who are unvaccinated. Other media and politicians are saying that the unvaccinated are murderers and should be sent to jail. The science, however, is showing that both vaccinated and unvaccinated alike can shed the virus, and now the CDC Director Rochelle “Waffles” Walensky is admitting on CNN that COVID vaccines, “continue to work well for Delta with regard to severe illness and death, they prevent it. But what they can’t do anymore is prevent transmission.” But statistics show a less than 1% chance of death without the vaccine.
 
While the Biden Administration is forcing its COVID Marxism on Americans, it is refusing to stop illegals with COVID from crossing the border or mandating those caught to have the vaccination. Border agents are contracting COVID from them. Their positive tests are skyrocketing yet Biden’s COVID Marxists are rounding illegals up and flying them into our communities, adding to the rising COVID infections of Americans. If unvaccinated Americans are threatened with losing their jobs, why is Biden welcoming and relocating unvaccinated illegal immigrants into our country? Proverbs 29:2 says, When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked bear rule, the people mourn.” So true. This is beyond unrighteous leadership and mourning, this COVID Marxism is, say it with me…Stupidocrisy.

The Devil knows where he’s ultimately going. And he would like to drag as many people there with him as he possibly can.
 
While God wants you to come into a relationship with Him, the Devil wants to do everything to keep you away from a relationship with God.
 
The Bible tells us the god of this age (Satan) has blinded the eyes of those who don’t believe, “lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them” (2 Corinthians 4:3–4 NKJV).
 
The Devil doesn’t want you to believe. And the Bible also says that he’s taken people captive to do his will (see 2 Timothy 2:26).
 
He tries to keep us from coming to Christ, and when we do, he’ll do everything possible to get us to fall away or compromise so that he can neutralize us.
 
Maybe the Devil has been having a heyday in your life. Maybe he has you trapped in addiction, drugs, alcohol, or pornography. Maybe he has you trapped in a relationship or something else. You feel as though you’ll never get out of that place.
 
You can. But you must ask God for His help and His forgiveness. Will you do that today? Jesus can pull you out of the pit you’re in and literally change you in moments.
 
Or maybe you’ve already accepted Christ into your life, but realistically, you’ve been trapped by the Enemy somehow. He has you wound up in a compromising situation, and you’re unhappy because you’re trying to live in two worlds right now.
 
If you’re living in the no-man’s-land of compromise, will you make a recommitment to Christ and start walking with the Lord as you ought to?
 
Don’t let the Devil have a foothold in your life. Keep as much distance from him as possible.
