How the Scriptures present the details of Christ’s Second Coming is far different than the picture we get from those who persistently want to avoid mentioning the Rapture as a viable end-time expectation. In this article, we will see and quote Scriptures that detail that event of His Second Coming and thereby establish the fact there is a coming “ingathering of the saints” prior to that Second Coming.
 
The promises of God in the Bible are facts, established truths, because of the Person who made the promises. We see that in 2 Corinthians 1:20: “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God….” The facts, then, testify of the truth of the Word regarding the Second Coming of Christ.
 
How Jesus told of His Second Coming, first of all, in Matthew 24:29-31, He says this: “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
 
Some specific things to note in that passage that are placing the timing of the Second Coming correctly:
 
1.It is after the tribulation of those days. It has not been a time of “eating and drinking and marrying and giving in marriage,” indicating a time of easy-going life without any turbulence and difficulties. In those days before the Lord comes to the earth to reign as Lord of Lords and King of Kings, as told in Revelation 13 to 19, conditions will be such that people will have as their number one concern a need for survival. The impact of the Mark of the Beast will have brought death to many (see Rev. 7), and lack of food will be magnified horribly. Remember Christ authorized famine to occur when He opened that third seal in Revelation 6 and a black horse and rider appeared?
 
2.Note who is already in heaven—the Elect: “And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” The passage in Matthew 24:37 and following tells of “two men who are together; one is taken, and the other one is left,” an action not fitting into the likeness of the glorious Second Coming of the Lord with His Elect, as depicted in Revelation 19:9, following the marriage supper of the Lamb. It is a clear contradiction to have the Lord “taking one and leaving the other” when His Elect are already in heaven with Him. It is clear that such a one-on-one selection is more properly placed in the Rapture setting, as also described in Luke 17:26-30. After all, we just saw that His saints were already in heaven, those places He has prepared for them, according to John 14:1-4.
 
3.Jesus comes to the earth with His body of believers, and a final battle is fought with Jesus, the One who conquers the Antichrist and his false prophet, then casts them alive into the lake of fire. This is revealed in Revelation 19 and is testimony that He has not remained in heaven and is now managing the Millenium from His throne there. The claim that we are now experiencing the Millennium here on earth is a fallacy the Reformers did not take with their Reformation from the Roman Catholics, apparently.
 
The picture the Scriptures show of the Second Coming in Revelation 19 is far more vivid with grandeur, glory, and power that will be seen worldwide than that of the Rapture. That is because at the Rapture, the audience is limited to the redeemed, and it is more likely that only the believers will hear the trumpet’s blast. The parable in Matthew 22:1-14 identifies those who will be at the marriage supper of the Lamb. It will be those who have accepted His invitation to come, those who will have believed in Him during this age of grace.
 
There are more details of His Second Coming in Zechariah 14:4 and following. Verse 4 says, “And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, from east to west, making a very large valley; half of the mountain shall move toward the north and half of it toward the south.”
 
Zechariah goes on to describe the events of the Millennium rolling out, and it is defined as a period of only one thousand years. Revelation 20 speaks of “a thousand years” six times, emphasizing more specifically that the Millennium is not now occurring in its second thousand years. In refuting that belief, Satan does not appear to be bound in the bottomless pit at all; any control over evil from heaven is obviously missing as we see the growing evidence of a “falling away” from faith, lawfulness, justice and moral integrity. Truly, God is now allowing these things to continue until He comes at the right time, for the Scripture in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 tells us that the “falling away” must come first, then the One who restrains—holds back—the pressing onslaught of evil is taken out of the way. That, dear believer, is the Rapture, the “snatching” out those who have received Christ as their Savior.
 
When the Reformers take up the beliefs of the Roman Catholics that the Book of Revelation is not worthy of any consideration in their understanding of God’s plan of redemption and that it is a collection of myths and allegories, they leave out major events that are yet to come.
 
One major event that is not addressed by those who want to skip the prophecies of the last days is the matter of the calling forth the 144,000 witnesses or messengers from the twelve tribes of Israel. Revelation 6, at the opening of the fifth seal, Jesus authorizes and previews their ministry, and in Revelation 7, John tells of the results of their preaching the gospel of the kingdom to “a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands….”
 
These are believers who have rejected the Mark of the Beast in Revelation 13 and following. They are killed, and it says more are also to be killed. They are not of the church, which has been taken to heaven already. They have a service role during the time of the tribulation, as the Elder assisting John seems to indicate.
 
The ministry of the Holy Spirit, as John told us in John 16:13, “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”
 
Does He lead us into false doctrines? Does He create doctrines on His own? Does He not tell us things to come? Will He reveal anything that is not in the inspired Scriptures? We have the whole counsel of God in the Bible, the Word of God. It is not laid out like an encyclopedia, one subject after another, in detail. We must search it out, rightly dividing that Word of Truth without contradictions.
 
In my experience in the Word, I find that a chronological following of the roll-out of the events of the Bible is readily apparent and that such an approach to the prophecies of the last days eliminates much confusion and false doctrines that arise in these last days. For example, I am criticized as a “dispensationalist,” and thus, I must believe that the Rapture doctrine was invented by one John Darby in the mid-1800s. Dispensationalism means the belief that events have occurred one after the other that identify God’s pattern of the revelation of His plan for the redemption of mankind to the extent that can be accomplished. At least, that is how it comes across to me in its simplest form, and I scratch my head and wonder how that is any different than the following of a chronological roll-out of God’s program in the same way.
 
Finally, the picture in Revelation 19 of Jesus returning to earth the Second Time shows Him on a white horse, charging forth, as the Apostle John tells it: “Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns” (verse 11). Then, in verse 14, he says this: “And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.”
 
“And on His head were many crowns.” When did He get those crowns? They were cast at His feet when the saints, represented by the twenty-four elders, appeared before His throne as John so reported in Revelation 14—before the seven years of tribulation.
 
Does this appearance give the implication that He will be dealing with those who are taken while others are being left behind?
 
Two reminders come to mind: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5), and “Knowledge of the Holy One is understanding” (Proverbs 9:10b).

2024 will make 2023 look like a walk in the park but we can make it through the storm if we hold onto our humanity and faith in God
 
The convergence of multiple red-alert warnings is staring us in the face, all pointing to a major “event” of some type in the upcoming weeks or months.
 
Whatever it is, this new catastrophe will hasten the collapse of the old world system, a collapse of economies and political structures that is already underway, paving the way for the Great Reset or, as some call it, the New World Order. I call it the beast system.
 
 
Predicting the timing of such an event is impossible but I do believe we are looking at a major shock event happening roughly within the next three to nine months, a year at most.
 
The reason is simple. The billionaire globalist oligarchs desire to bring about a situation which involves digitization (of money and human beings), dehumanization (humans replaced by transhuman hybrids), destruction (of all cultural norms, male/female genders, the ability to reproduce without technology, etc.) and depopulation (of those deemed “useless eaters”). These are the “Four Ds” needed to bring about the total control that globalist technocrats seek to extend over all human behavior in a restructured world run by artificial intelligence and based on the elimination of all fossil fuel usage by the common man (non-oligarchs). If only the oligarchs have access to fossil fuels and only the oligarchs are allowed to reproduce and enjoy freedom of speech, what you end up with is a one-world slave state. And that’s exactly the goal.
 
So the Four Ds are used to get to the fifth and final D, which is dystopia. In the eyes of the globalist predator class, they’re reaching for their utopia, but for the rest of us, it will be a living hell, a dystopia.
 
These globalist oligarchs were only able to destroy so much of the old world order with Covid and they need another big crisis event to finish the job of achieving all their dystopian goals, which are encompassed in the Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. They’ve played language games, reminiscent of Orwellian newspeak, to make us think the SDGs will bring about utopia. In reality, the masses will be ushered into the nightmare of dystopia.
 
If the globalists continue to pressure their minions in national and state capitols to enact their green new deals and “net zero” campaigns, the masses will eventually wake up and come for these globalists. That awakening has already begun, and that is why it is urgent that they escalate a full-blown World War III scenario, which includes famine and shortages, as soon as they possibly can.
 
The window is closing on the King Charles-initiated “Great Reset” and so it’s time to double down on destruction and depopulation. If they don’t, they will never get to full digitization and dehumanization, the end of human history, as Yuval Harari explains in the video below.

Russia is an obstacle to their plans for a truly one-world system. Not because of Putin being any kind of hero, but because of the Russian people and their will to survive under a purely Russian leader. They will not accept a World Economic Forum puppet like the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Europe have accepted to rule over them. They don’t mind an authoritarian strong man but it must be a real Russian who is in charge.
 
Russia and Putin may be on board with digitization, but not with the other three Ds – dehumanization, destruction of all cultural norms, and depopulation, largely due to the strong influence of the Russian Orthodox Church, which remains much more traditional in its thinking than the Roman Catholic Church.
 
If I’m right and the globalist oligarchs have another shock event planned within the next three to nine months, that means the window for preparedness is also closing.
 
Those caught off guard by what is coming will find themselves completely dependent on exactly the wrong people for their survival. They will be at the mercy of the globalist cartel. Since this is a predator class of psychopaths, you do not want to be dependent on them for anything.
 
If viewed in a vacuum, the headlines of today would not be sending up red flags of warning. But when you look at them in totality, it becomes clear something big is going down that will forever reshuffle the deck of global power and change our outlook going forward.
 
The bottom line is that this is no time for normalcy bias.
 
We are already in the beginning stages of World War III with Russia in Eastern Europe, in Syria, and with Africa and Asia getting ready to explode as well.
 
I think it’s inevitable that World War III continues to escalate into the outbreak of direct day-to-day warfare between the world’s two major nuclear powers, roughly divided by East and West, with the U.S./NATO/Australia/Japan/South Korea on one side, and Russia/China/Iran/North Korea on the other side.
 
The U.S. and Great Britain along with the rest of their NATO vassal states procured this war with Russia by continually expanding the NATO military alliance eastward into Russia’s back yard. NATO politicians and commanders have been talking about their “open door policy” for at least 20 years, and this is like pouring salt into an open wound as it relates to Russia and its history of being invaded from the west. In 2008, NATO invited Ukraine into the alliance pending it meeting certain criteria and that was really the last straw. Ever since that overture, it was just a matter of time before Russia sent its forces into Ukraine. It’s no different than when Israel periodically sends its forces into Palestinian territories to “clean out” those areas of rockets, weapons and ammunition dumps. You’d be surprised at how many conservatives understand Israel’s need to live amongst its Palestinian cousins without those cousins being armed to the teeth, yet they do not understand the same concept applies to Russia and Ukraine.
 
As the nations line up and draw the battle lines for World War III, India is the wildcard. This is not the old India. It is the fastest-growing nation, it has a lot of technical expertise, and it can field a huge army. It could make the difference in who wins World War III depending which side it decides to join.
 
Once World War III ratchets up, we’re looking at a nationwide draft in the U.S. heading into an election year, which means the potential outbreak of civil war on U.S. soil at the same time we’re involved in world war.
 
Then you’re looking at cyberattacks, possible false-flag attacks, a new and scarier pandemic, a historic famine and supply-chain disruptions exacerbated by war, or some combination of the above, all brought on by an intensifying World War III.
 
This will not be a time for weak Christians or feeble-minded Westerners used to their entertainment and creature comforts.
 
The way things are going, I foresee a combination of at least three or four of the above scenarios taking place simultaneously. Think about the impact that would have on everyday society.
 
Below are some of the data points pointing toward a catastrophic event that will forever change the world. (Note: These were researched and recently discussed by myself and Brannon Howse on his show, Brannon Howse Live).
 

• CNN: Nuclear activity highest in years at sites in China, Russia and U.S.
• Smoke seen rising from Idaho national lab which tests advanced nuclear weaponry.
• Pope Francis says world is on brink of nuclear war, worst since 1962.
• Increasing reports of U.S. war planes training overhead coming in from all over the country.
• FEMA sets October 4 nationwide emergency alert test.
• U.S. orders $290 million worth of anti-radiation sickness tablets.
• New York City broadcast public service ads on how to survive a nuclear attack.
• Russia’s Defense Minister stated over the weekend that attacks are taking place on Russian territory outside the special operations zone. Russia now sees the U.S. and Great Britain as parties to the current war and will allow itself to attack decision-making centers in the Ukraine. That would presumably include Ukrainian president Zelensky. Imagine if Russia took him out and how the West would exploit that in terms of propaganda messaging.
• King Charles meeting with French President Macron in Paris last Wednesday through Friday. Macron skipped the UN meeting in New York in order to meet with the King. (Charles is the Father of the global sustainable development movement and a major proponent of eugenics and depopulation. I wrote about this on my Substack last week.)
• Deagel Corp., which has ties to the CIA, predicted in 2014 that the U.S. would lose 68.5 percent of its population by the end of 2025; the U.K. would lose over 75 percent and most Western European nations would also lose 30 to 50 percent.
• Free speech and political dissent are under attack in formerly free nations. These are the nations we once thought were the good guys – the U.S., Canada, E.U., U.K,, Australia and New Zealand. All are cracking down in very visible ways on free speech. Pastors and journalists (such as Pastor Artur Powlawski in Canada and journalists Owen Shroyer and Stephen Horn in the U.S.) are being jailed for simply expressing ideas that challenge the government-mass media narratives. Jucinda Ardern, the former prime minister of New Zealand, has become the new face of global censorship, and she is being given the biggest platforms to spout her authoritarian ideas, speaking last week before the U.N. General Assembly on the need to crack down on “disinformation,” which of course is all speech that globalists don’t agree with on climate change, war in Ukraine, Covid and vaccines, etc. She has been rewarded for her evil ideas with not one but two fellowships at Harvard University.
• Poland becomes first NATO member, other than Hungary, to question the open-ended funding of Ukraine’s corrupt government in its border dispute with Russia. Poland wants to ‘cool down’ Ukraine. If the U.S. and Great Britain sense that the coalition of the willing is starting to break up, they will accelerate the attacks on Russian territory in an effort to “strike while the iron is hot.”
• VP Kamala Harris becomes Biden’s “Gun Czar” as the War on the Second Amendment throttles into overdrive. The Biden administration announced Thursday that Harris will oversee the first-ever White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention. Harris will be in charge of enforcing current laws and collaborating with state and local officials to push anti-gun measures at every level.
• Several big banks including Wells Fargo and Bank of America announced plans to close 38 bank branches in and around New York City by the end of the year.

 
Bottom line: War is coming, along with all of its nasty byproducts. This will include growing inflation and de-dollarization, shortages of food, fuel and basic medications, and an intensifying assault on all forms of free of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of movement, assembly, the Second Amendment, etc. We must resist this assualt on our freedoms, while knowing that no man or human organization is coming to our rescue. We bear responsibility for the safety and security of our families. Anyone still looking for a quick fix brought on by the voting booth is not paying attention to the signs and signals. We will not get to November 2024 without experiencing another major event, triggered by the globalists and their minions who share the Luciferian hatred of God’s crowning achievement — human life created in His image. We must stand strong in our convictions, both political and religious, and refuse to bow to the beast system, while knowing that our Father in heaven holds the ultimate trump card and will bring down this network of evil in His timing and on His schedule.

Have you ever considered the significance of the timing of Christ’s First Coming? Why did Jesus come 2,000 years ago? Why not 3,000 or even 5,000 years ago?
 
I believe much of the answer lies in the revolutionary new communications technology that came about in His time. Jesus was born at the height of the Roman Empire after it had taken control over much of the known world. The Romans built innovative road systems so that they could send messages faster, engage in commerce farther, and move their armies to and fro very quickly. This new form of rapid transit, coupled with a common language, revolutionized the way an empire could be held together. And for a thousand years, the Roman Empire flourished much in part to their superhighways.
 
The same Roman transit technology that had allowed the communication of information and ideas also provided a little backwater nation the ability to speak to an entire empire. While Jesus stayed predominantly in Galilee, His disciples took to the highways to spread the Gospel message across the known world. And so, Christ’s first advent was perfectly timed to utilize this new technology.
 
A Second Revolution
 
I believe we are now witnessing a second massive leap in communications, for the technology that unites today’s world comes from the amalgamation of the many technologies that make up the Internet “Information Superhighway.”
 
The Internet consolidates a virtually mind-numbing array of various technologies: radios, transmitters, televisions, cell towers, satellites, cable, cameras, Wi-Fi, fiber optics, and the complicated infrastructure that connects print, audio, and video technologies into one massive network. And this list covers only the tip of the communications technologies iceberg.
 
The true birth of the Internet came some 60 years ago when all these technologies began to be linked together. We may call it the Internet today, but this wonder of modern-day life was initially created as a means for scientists to share their computer data across vast distances in combating the Cold War.
 
As soon as the Soviet Union launched the first manmade satellite Sputnik into orbit on October 4, 1957, a spooked U.S. federal government quickly responded by forming the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the Department of Defense’s Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA). These agencies would wage the Cold War by developing space-age technologies that would lead the world into the digital age.
 
Military experts in the 1950s worried that a few missiles could take down the whole network of telephone lines which make efficient long-distance communication possible. And so, in 1962, a scientist at ARPA by the name of J.C.R. Licklider proposed his solution of building a “galactic network” of computers that could talk to one another and enable government leaders to communicate, even if the Soviets destroyed the phone system.
 
On October 29, 1969, two house-sized computers, one at the research lab at UCLA and the second at Stanford University, shared their first node-to-node message which read “LOGIN”. By the end of 1969, the two computers linked together became four, and throughout the 1970s more and more military and research computers all around the world were identifying each other by Internet Protocol (IP) address and sharing their data.
 
Then, in 1991, a Swiss computer programmer named Tim Berners-Lee (not Al Gore) opened the expanding connectivity up to the general public over what he called the World Wide Web. Berners-Lee created the very first Web server (CERN HTTPd) and the very first website (http://info.cern.ch/). Now anyone with a personal computer can access the Web over browsers such as Mosaic, Netscape, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Edge, and Safari.
 
With such massive amounts of data being shared as millions of new computers were being connected to the Internet every day, search engines such as Google, AltaVista, AskJeeves, Yahoo, and later Bing mapped and indexed all that data, recently aided by artificial intelligence (AI). A world of information is literally available at anyone’s fingertips via their desktop or mobile device.
 
As of 2020, 4.54 billion of the 7.77 billion people in the world are connected to the Internet, and 4.18 billion of them utilize mobile devices. In the United States, 100% of 18- to 29-year-olds, 97% of 30- to 49-year-olds, 88% of 50- to 64-year-olds, and 73% of 65-year-olds and older are Web “surfers.” The average Internet user spends 6.5 hours online every day generating 88,555 gigabytes of Internet traffic every second. The average smartphone user will spend an average of 3 hours 49 minutes each day on their devices, dedicating 90% of their time to downloading any of the 5+ million applications (Apps) from the leading App stores such as Google Play, Apple’s iTunes, and Amazon.
 
Truly, the Internet has developed into today’s Tower of Babel. Language barriers are even becoming a thing of the past as translation Apps such as Google Translate have been developed to turn one’s smartphone into a Star Trek-like universal translator.
 
Networks are getting faster and more robust, as fifth-generation (5G) technology is being implemented at record speed to keep up with the exabytes of data being shared. And the Internet continues to expand into its third phase, seeking to encompass every device from your coffeemaker to your car into the Internet of Things (IoT), and from your Neuralink brain chip to your pacemaker in the Internet of Bodies (IoB).
 
Alphabet, the parent company which owns Google, has risen to become a monopoly, channeling 92% of Web searches and 44% of all emails generated, and it now decides who sees what information. Cries of Internet censorship, especially against Christian and Conservative viewpoints, are on the rise. As television fiction writer J. Michael Straczynski quoted through one of his characters, “He who controls information controls the world.”
 
A New Opportunity
 
While Satan continues to purge the Christian voice from the Internet in his mad climb toward global domination, his control is not yet absolute, granting the Church a short window of opportunity. After all, isn’t it amazing that right now we can reach out to over two-thirds of the world’s population through the Internet? The Apostles of the first century could have only dreamed of such an outreach!
 
In just the last decade, smartphones and other smart devices have become so widely popular that they have exponentially increased online connectivity, thereby giving more and more people the opportunity to be exposed to the Gospel. The opportunities to reach distant people with the Good News are more prevalent now than they have ever been before.
 
I believe that the Scriptures were in part prophesying today’s communications technology when Jesus said in the Last Days the Gospel would be spread throughout the entire world. That’s why God has provided this second revolution in worldwide communications for this specific purpose.
 
Recognize the Times
 
Knowing the Lord has given us this window of opportunity, how should Christians respond? Is there an “App” for that?
 
First, when you accept the fact that the Lord could return at any moment, you will begin to recognize the times in which we are living. You will be comforted knowing that God has got it all under control, that He has a great big plan in place, and that God’s children play a vital role in that plan. As we wait for Christ’s return, Christians are called to holy living and to serve our Lord in evangelism.
 
For non-Christians who recognize the significance of the huge paradigm shift towards darkness the world is currently undergoing, the realization should act like an alarm clock buzzing you awake to the fact that the world doesn’t have much time left to it. We are all living on borrowed time. Therefore, respond to the Holy Spirit’s leading, praying from your heart in faith and repentance, and ask Jesus to be your Savior.
 
Utilize to E-vangelize
 
Second, knowing that our Savior will be returning soon, consider how you can utilize all of these great technologies that God has given us to e-vangelize the world for Jesus Christ. Pretty much all of us have access to the Internet, so that means that anybody can become an Internet evangelist by picking up a smartphone and tweeting, getting on Facebook and sharing a post, building their own website or blog, or sending emails.
 
Almost the entire world is now accessible at your fingertips. So, take a ride on that Gospel Information Superhighway! Share the Good News about Jesus Christ and His soon return.

 


 


 
Will He find faith When He Returns? - Nathele Graham - [email protected]
 
We live in very interesting times. There’s no doubt we are living in the very last days. In fact, we may not see tomorrow. The prophecies spoken of by the prophets of God all seem to be being fulfilled quickly. Israel has very few friends among the nations, Russia is making friends with Israel’s enemies, the Third Temple is ready to be built, AI is an evil that is just getting started (could that stand for anti-iesous?), and much more. Another sign of the times is apostasy. There are many people who profess to be Christians who have the most screwball beliefs imaginable. Mormons believe that if they’re good enough, when they die, they will become gods of their own planet, Catholics believe that what the pope says is sacred even if it contradicts Scripture, some so called Christians think the church has replaced Israel, and the list goes on. Scripture contradicts all of these beliefs. “I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:8.
 
Jesus had just told a parable about a judge who was corrupt. He didn’t have any fear of God and could care less about people. A widow was having a problem and needed legal help, so she went to the judge and asked for his help. The judge didn’t care about her problems, but he also didn’t want her to keep coming to him for help. He decided to help her. This parable doesn’t condone corrupt judges, but it does encourage persistent prayer and faith. Our prayers should be only to God and we should be in prayer always.
 
Although Jesus questioned if He would find faith when He returns at the second coming, I wonder how much faith He would find today. We should take heed today to be faithful and pray. We see earnest prayer being answered throughout Scripture. One of my favorite examples of earnest faith and prayer being answered is found in 1 Samuel. A man named Elkanah had 2 wives. One, Peninnah, was not a very kind or loving woman. She was able to bear children, which made her feel superior. The other wife, Hannah, wasn’t able to have children, but Elkanah loved her dearly. Peninnah treated her poorly. “And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.” 1 Samuel 1:6.
 
Have you ever had people mock you and torment you unfairly? How did you handle it? Hannah is a very good example. She didn’t whine to her husband nor did she seek revenge on Peninnah. She did pray. “And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD and wept sore.” 1 Samuel 1:10.
 
Hannah was a sweet woman who loved God and knew that only He could help her. She didn’t pray for vengeance upon Peninnah for being mean, but her prayer was centered upon her request and how she would serve God if her prayer was answered. “And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou will indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but will give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.” 1 Samuel 1:11.
 
How many mothers dedicate their children to God, then forget to teach them about God? Hannah would follow through on her promise. Hannah’s prayer was between her and God, and she poured out her heart to Him. She didn’t speak out loud, but her lips moved. Eli was the priest, and, being only human, he misinterpreted what he saw. He thought she was drunk. Hannah set him straight. “And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord. I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit. I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD.” 1 Samuel 1:15.
 
God answered Hannah’s prayer and she gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, and he became a very important judge and prophet of Israel. His life was dedicated to serving God. Hannah was a woman of strong faith.
 
Another example of faith is found in Esther. She was a young Jewish girl growing up in Shushan, which was the winter palace of Persian kings. The Babylonian captivity was over, but many Jewish families chose to remain where they had lived for so many years. Esther was raised by her cousin, Mordecai because her parents had died, and Mordecai was a very kind man. The king, Ahasuerus, was not a very kind man. When he had a party for a group of men, he wanted his wife, Vashti, to parade herself in front of them. Vashti refused and was sent away. That left the king without a queen. Following his nature, he told his servants to gather all the fair young virgins and bring them to him so he could choose the one who pleased him the most. Yes, he was a jerk. Esther was one of the captured young virgins. Esther had a strong character, and didn’t feel sorry for herself, but cooperated. Mordecai never stopped his concern for Esther, and advised her to not reveal that she was Jewish, and he checked on her daily.
 
After a year, it was Esther’s time to go in and be with the king. She was very pleasing to the king and he made her his queen. We have to live every day by faith, and Esther couldn’t have imagined what God knew about her future, but stayed faithful to Him. He had allowed Esther to be queen for a very special reason. As time went on, it became known to Mordecai that an evil man named Haman plotted to have all the Jewish people in the kingdom killed. Haman had convinced the king to issue a decree that on the 13th day of Adar, the people were to kill all Jewish people. Because Esther was queen, she was in a position to stop the atrocity. The problem was, the king didn’t know she was Jewish, and even so, if she approached him without being summoned, she could be killed. Mordecai had encouraged her to approach the king, but she told him of the very real possibility she would be killed. “Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king’s house, more than all the Jews.” Esther 4:13.
 
In other words, she would die anyway simply because she was Jewish. Mordecai told her that she might be in the king’s house for this exact reason. God does work in mysterious ways, and He was working through Esther. So, Esther came up with a plan. It started with prayer and fasting. “Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.” Esther 4:16.
 
What if Christians would have the faith to earnestly pray for each other and our governments? I’m sure our faith would make a difference. As it turned out, Esther was able to stop Haman from further evil. She had thrown a banquet where only the king and Haman were guests, and then a second banquet. As the evening progressed, Esther revealed to the king that she was Jewish, and that she and her people were about to be slaughtered because of Haman. King Ahasuerus was not one to wait for trial and he had Haman hanged. The king reversed his decree and there was no slaughter, but he did honor Mordecai and Esther. There was much celebrating, and this is now a Jewish celebration called Purim. Esther couldn’t have imagined what great things she would accomplish for God when she was abducted. Her dreams of becoming a Jewish wife of a Jewish man were forever changed, but her people were saved. She had great faith in God and acted upon that faith. But first she asked for prayer and fasting. What if she hadn’t prayed? What if she had no faith?
 
 Scripture is filled with many great accounts of faith, and the rewards from God for faithfulness. Enoch was a man of great faith at a time much like today; evil was everywhere. He kept himself away from the evil and was able to instill in his children the same faith. “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death, and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had the testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:5-6. Enoch pleased God by his faith. He lived his life by God’s rules, and not by participating in the demonic happenings around him. That’s what God expects from Christians today.
 
Our faith should cause us to seek God and live according to His word. Enoch pleased God by faith and he was taken prior to God’s judgment of the Flood. He stands as a picture of Christians being Raptured prior to Daniel’s 70th week…the final seven years of earth history. Today there is much apostacy among those claiming to be Christians, which makes me wonder how much true faith is left. There is a remnant who follow Scripture, but we are getting fewer each day. Instead of God’s word being respected, we allow our children to be taught evolution. Instead of godly marriage being honored, people live together until they find someone new, then move on. Marriage has been perverted to include same sex marriages, and people even think they can choose their gender…or even their species. Purpose driven teachings undermine Biblical truth. Name it and claim it preachers make millions of dollars spewing their lies, while Scripture goes unread. This is all happening now, prior to the Rapture, and true faith is becoming hard to find. What will happen during the seven final years after the Rapture?
 
Will Christ find faith when He returns? It will be near to impossible to be faithful to Christ during those final days. The man of sin will rule the world and require everyone to take a mark. “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Revelation 13:16-17. The world is being primed today to bow to the beast and take his mark. After the Rapture, nobody can be saved who has taken the mark. There will be some who come to faith during the Tribulation, but it will be harder then than it is today, to stay faithful.
 
 
The best plan of action is to give your life to Christ today. You cannot be saved by being a good person. Salvation is by faith. “For by grace are ye saved by faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9. If you claim to be a Christian, then start living like Christ. Repent and turn away from your sin. Remember, God defines sin, not you.
 
 Will He find faith when He returns? You need to answer that question and figure out where your faith lies.

Communist Chinese scientists at the Wuhan lab, where the COVID 19 virus likely came from, are predicting more coronavirus outbreaks are on the way. Scientists at Wuhan published an online “Assessment and sero-diagnosis for coronaviruses with risk of human spillover” on July 7, which is just now making its way to the general public. The analysis “proposed 20 high-risk CoV species, including 6 of which jumped to human, 3 with evidence of spillover but not to human and 11 without evidence of spillover yet, which prediction were further supported by an analysis of the history of CoV zoonosis.” They state the obvious: “Zoonotic coronaviruses (CoVs) caused major human outbreaks in the last two decades.”
 
The scientists proclaim: “One of the biggest challenges during future CoV disease is ensuring rapid detection and diagnosis at the early phase of a zoonotic event, and active surveillance to the zoonotic high-risk CoVs appears the best way at the present time to provide early warnings. However, there is neither an evaluation of spillover potential nor diagnosis tools for the majority of CoVs. Here, we analyzed the viral traits, including population, genetic diversity, receptor and host species for all 40 alpha- and beta-CoV species, where the human-infecting CoVs are from.” Then back to blaming the bats…”We also found three major zoonotic sources: multiple bat-origin CoV species, the rodent-origin sub-genus Embecovirus and the CoV species AlphaCoV1.”
 
They concluded, “Moreover, the Rhinolophidae and Hipposideridae bats harbour a significantly higher proportion of human-threatening CoV species, whereas camel, civet, swine and pangolin could be important intermediate hosts during CoV zoonotic transmission. Finally, we established quick and sensitive serologic tools for a list of proposed high-risk CoVs and validated the methods in serum cross-reaction assays using hyper-immune rabbit sera or clinical samples. By comprehensive risk assessment of the potential human-infecting CoVs, our work provides a theoretical or practical basis for future CoV disease preparedness…Thus, the early preparation for the animal CoVs with risk of spillover is important for future disease preparedness, regarding the likely animal origin of SARS, MERS and COVID-19 [Citation2–4].”
 
When reading this “assessment,” one wonders if it is a warning of sorts that Wuhan is going to see to it that these viruses are released into the worldwide environment; are they developing viruses that crossover from animals to infect humans; are they signaling this possible threat at a time when the World Health Organization is teetering on having nations allow WHO to take over infectious disease response? These are all legitimate questions or thoughts given the last go-around where COVID 19 originated in Wuhan and was used as a worldwide test of population control and compliance. At any rate, beware and prepare for another round of fear-based propaganda and government strong-arming about your body. As is written in Phillippians 3:2, “Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.” Bats, politicians, narratives. Take heed.

Jesus, the very personification of love, talked a lot about Hell. In fact, He spent more time than anyone else in the Bible talking about Hell. Therefore, we don’t want to steer clear of this subject. To avoid this topic is a big mistake, even if it makes us uncomfortable.
 
We do, however, want a biblical understanding of what the Bible says. Ironically, the word hell is one of the most frequently used words in the English language, yet it is one of the subjects we talk about the least.
 
When the apostle Paul spoke on Mars Hill, he concluded his message by saying, “God overlooked people’s ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to him. For he has set a day for judging the world with justice by the man he has appointed, and he proved to everyone who this is by raising him from the dead” (Acts 17:30–31 NLT).
 
Jesus talked about judgment. Paul talked about judgment. The apostles talked about judgment. The Bible talks about judgment. And we need to talk about it and have a proper understanding of what it’s about.
 
Some would say that it isn’t loving to talk about these things. Actually, it’s the most loving thing we can do. Let’s say, for instance, that you’re walking down the street and see a house that is on fire. You see people inside, but they don’t realize what is happening. Would it be a loving thing to just keep walking? Of course not. The loving thing would be to do everything you can to warn the people inside.
 
In the same way, if we believe what the Bible says about Hell and judgment, then we’ll recognize that people are facing judgment. And because we love them, we’ll want to talk to them about it and explain it.
 
The Bible is very clear in pointing out that at some point, our lives on earth will end. Scripture tells us in Ecclesiastes, “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die” (3:1–2 NLT).
 
That time to die may come much later than we expected. Or, it may occur much sooner. That is why the Bible reminds us to number our days and recognize how few they are (see Psalm 90:12).
 
Death is the great equalizer. It comes to everyone. And after death, according to the Bible, there are two destinations: Heaven or Hell. We decide now, not later, where we will go. After death there won’t be any chances to decide. Yet there are thousands of chances before. And you decide where you will go.
 
As Christians, we should talk about life after death and Heaven and Hell because the Bible does. And if we really believe there is an afterlife and a final judgment, if we really believe that we will be held accountable for things that we say and do, then it will affect the way we live.
