I have seen the God-given task with which the sons of men are to be occupied. He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end. Ecclesiastes 3:10-11 From the first century until the 20th, there wasn’t a whole lot of movement going on in God’s prophetic, long-range calendar. Similar to the silent years between the Old Testament and the New, we had been in an extended ‘silent period’ since Jerusalem fell to the Romans in AD70. During that time, kingdoms and empires came and went, Christianity waxed and waned across the world, and technology finally liberated man from being limited to the speed of horse. But in regards to where we were on God’s calendar, no one really knew where that was exactly, that is, until 1948. The two dominant forms of Christian Eschatology that existed from the 3rd century until the 19th, were Amillennialism, and Historic Premillennialism (now called the Post-Tribulation view). The former, stifled any potential understanding of God’s prophetic word, by allegorizing everything into a wispy, unknown sphere of speculation. The latter attempted to label every aberrant leader and/or movement of their day, as The Beast. Prior to the Dispensationalist movement of the early 19th century, about as close as anyone really came to really grasp where we were, was Sir Isaac Newton, and Archbishop Ussher. These two men did the yeoman’s work of digging through ancient, secular, historical documents, and compared them to what Scripture said. By this, Ussher figured that creation happened on/about 4004 BC or year 1 Anno Mundi (AM counts from creation forward). He held to a six-day/ six-millennium model for the order of things. Sir Isaac Newton, a brilliant thinker in his own right and known best for his work in physics, was fascinated by Bible Prophecy. He figured the end would come somewhere in the middle of the 21st-century. Although not perfect in their findings, they did give us a pretty good idea of where we were with the information they had available to them at the time. The reason it was difficult to gauge where we were on God’s calendar from the first-century until the 20th, was because the only nation God ever used as His ‘geo-political’ time-piece, was Israel; and she hadn’t been a nation for over 1,800 years (Daniel 2, 9). The 19th-century dispensationalists came to understand that the Jewish nation would HAVE to be reinserted onto the world’s stage again because that is the conclusion God’s word comes to if taken at face value. Isaiah 2, 11; Jeremiah 30; Ezekiel 37-39; Amos 9; Zech. 12-14 all speak to Israel existing again as a nation, in her own ancient homeland, for the second time in the last days. By the late 19th century (late 1880’s onward), men like Sir Robert Anderson, Cyrus Scofield, and Clarence Larkin began to lay out a clearer understanding of where we were, and what needed to transpire in the not too distant future. While critics like to lay charges against these men for various issues, all three of them were correct in understanding decades before it happened, that Israel would have to become a nation again; and so it did, in 1948. They understood that the first time Israel (Judah and Israel) went into Diaspora was when the Assyrians and Babylonians conquered them (Seventh and Sixth-century BC respectively). Yet, they were regathered in the fifth-century BC back to their homeland by the Persians. The second diaspora began in AD70 when the Romans sacked Jerusalem. The second regathering if you will, would not occur until 1948, almost two millennia later. Without Israel back in her land as a nation, there was no frame of reference by which to base God’s timeline. God’s entire timeline centered on a 490-year cycle which was measured when Israel was in covenant with God. Dr. E.W. Bullinger did the yeoman’s work on trying to understand how numbers and time figured into Scripture. (This, by the way, is not an endorsement of everything E.W. Bullinger did, taught, or believed, but he was very accurate on certain things) He came up with the following; The Four Great Jubilee Redemption Cycles (70 Sabbatical Years)
With the death of Israel’s true Messiah by her own decree (Matt. 27:23-26), Israel inadvertently postponed their own redemption by seven years. Israel was promised Seventy Weeks of Years (or 490-years according to Daniel 9:24-27). When they crucified their Messiah (Yeshua), they cut that short by seven years (or stopping at the 483rd-year). The final seven years, also known as the Day of the Lord, Daniel’s 70th Week, and the time of Jacob’s Trouble, is still future and still owed to God. Assessment For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Eph. 6:12 At the heart of them, World War I and II were not simply geopolitical wars waged over money, land, ideology, or power. The Zionist movement in the 1890s triggered WWI because Satan did not want the Jews repatriating to what was then known as Palestine. But at the end of the Great War, the Ottoman’s Turk’s control over the Middle East was fractured, granting the victors (Great Britain and France) the custodial rights of redistributing the former Ottoman Empire territories back to the various tribal groups and peoples which is how the Balfour Declaration was decreed. However, Satan wasn’t done. WWII wasn’t just about the ‘good guys vs. the bad guys’, or creating a ‘1,000 year Reich’. It wasn’t even about Nazism, although, those were the physical manifestations of the event. These may have all been by-products of the rise of Nazi Germany, but at the heart of it, stood one man, Adolph Hitler. He had survived WWI, witnessed the humiliating events that transpired in the Weimar Republic’s demise. He had seen the bloody Bolshevik Revolution, which traded the Russian Czars for the Marxist’s Politburo (Karl Marx was Jewish). The young Hitler may not have even understood that his hatred of the Jews went beyond even the political and ethnic differences he had with them but was spurred on by a much older, sinister force at work in the unseen world. Hitler’s heart had begun to be turned, being twisted and hardened by a seething darkness that stemmed from the father of lies himself, Satan. Satan’s hatred doesn’t simply exist because of the Abrahamic covenant, or even that Christ came from the tribe of Judah. I mean, what’s done is done and he knows he can’t go back and undo that. However, Satan thinks by destroying the Jews, he can postpone his inevitable future because he knows everything hinges on them becoming a nation again…hence the repeated expulsions of them from every country they’d ever settled in. And if expulsion couldn’t stop them, then he would wipe them out as a people. (See Rev. 12) Enter one Adolph Hitler. At the end of WWII, the Allied Powers uncovered that Hitler’s agenda went far beyond military hunger when they began discovering the various concentration camps spread throughout Europe. However, by this point, the victors were simply trying to grasp the depth and breadth of the genocide that had taken place under their noses. Despite Satan’s best efforts, the Jews survived WWII and the Holocaust, thus triggering a new set of dominoes to start falling into place. What Satan intended for evil, God turned for good, and by His own intrinsic purposes. Because of how horrific and terrible the Jewish Holocaust was, the world, for the briefest of moments, held enough collective guilt that they would allow for Israel to become a nation again. A second time. Just as the Bible predicted. Satan had to readjust his strategy. He had taken another major defeat. Just as Israel was coming into her own again, Satan raised up two former adversaries, the Muslim world (who had largely been neutralized for the better part of 400-years, and the old Roman Empire). So he sets out a new, multi-domain strategy: Economic: The Bretton-Woods Agreement (1944) linked the US Dollar to pretty much everything. This would be essential to the formation of a future ‘mark of the beast' system. Structure: The formation of a war-torn, divided Europe into a Common Market of economies, would eventually assemble into what it is today, the European Union. This was essential to the formation of the rise of the revived Roman Empire. Forces: The formation of NATO began in 1949. Once Satan collapsed the US (along with all the economies of the world) Satan would need a multi-national (or global) force by which to conscript his global army. Cause: The Cold War. This was needed to feed the need to flood the world with massive weapons of mass destruction. Crisis: The rise of the Middle East blood, oil, and fanaticism. So long as Israel was back in her land, Satan needed her to be drowning in a sea of hostility, violence, and frustration…thus willing to do just about anything, for peace and security. Corruption: The war on culture, particularly in the west, would decimate spiritually sleeping communities across the United States and Europe, blending eastern mysticism with secular humanism in an attempt to completely corrupt what remains of the Church. Means: Rapid advances in technology, travel, and communications. This is something every other generation lacked, and would be essential in casting a web over the entire planet to implement total control. Conclusion The inertial navigation system uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the system from a position where it is, to a position where it isn’t. Arriving at the position where it wasn’t, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is is now the position where it wasn’t and so it follows that the position where it was, is now the position where it isn’t. (ARINC 561 Manual August 1976) In layman’s terms, the inertial navigation system figures out where it is, by movement, and then predicts where it will be, based on where it isn’t. Make sense? Another way to think about it is, if this object never moved, it would have no frame of reference to fix itself on. Ergo, the greatest weakness of the inertial navigation system is at its beginning. But once it starts moving, it (said object) can figure out where it is relatively quickly. So where it was, will soon be the position where it isn’t. Think about that for a second. How and when do God’s prophetic plans, marry up with the geopolitical reality we are living in? Just as the ‘silent years’ between the Old and New Testaments were void of any true prophets proclaiming God’s truth to the world, these years were NOT absent of God’s plans being enacted through the Gentile world to bring about what had to come to pass, in order to fulfill previous prophecies already foretold. For example, we know historically that in what we call the ‘silent years’, Nebuchadnezzar’s multi-metallic statue (see Daniel 2) representing the Gentile world powers, had to play out, and they did. Where we aren’t, is where we used to be, that is before Israel was rebirthed as a nation again. This may also be how we reconcile what Jesus said about ‘no man knows the day or the hour’, with Paul’s statement that we (watching believers) would not be caught by surprise by that day because we’d recognize the season of our Lord’s return. Some are downright angry. While their reactions vary, their questions largely boil down to this: “Is the COVID-19 vaccine the Mark of the Beast? The simple answer is, “No, it’s not.” The Bible states the antichrist – a future globalist despot who leads a brutal one-world government system – will implement the Mark of the Beast halfway into a well-defined seven-year period known as The Tribulation (Revelation 13:16-17). That will be a future time when evil reaches a peak. In Daniel 8:23, we’re told it will be a point “…when rebels have become completely wicked.” Some translations put it this way, “…when the transgressors are come to the full.” In other words, under the antichrist’s ultimate socialist rule, evil will be like a cup of water that is so full that it cannot take another drop. If it could, it wouldn’t be full. That’s the picture here; sin on the earth will reach maximum expression in this final chapter of human history. Tough as things are becoming, we’re not yet at that point. The Bible is equally clear that the antichrist cannot be revealed until the ‘restrainer is taken out of the way’ (2 Thess. 2:1-7). There is only one power that is infinitely greater than all the forces the devil can muster. There’s only one ‘restrainer’ that can stand against such evil. That is God. The Holy Spirit lives within each person who is truly saved. As much as we see world conditions deteriorating, there is still a ‘restraining’ effect due to the presence of believers – and from those who support the laws and values which find their origin in God’s Word. That will all precipitously change at some unknown point. A moment is coming where all who trust in Jesus Christ for their salvation will be suddenly and preternaturally removed from this earth. Poof! Gone. It’s a blessed event for those who are taken from this planet to be with their Lord and Savior forever (Titus 2:13). It’s also imminent, which means we cannot predict its timing. Plenty try to, but that’s a foolish undertaking. When it happens, there will be concerted political AND supernatural efforts to explain what took place as something other than what the Bible makes plain. I have no doubt about this. Many then – as now – will believe a lie instead of the truth. Meantime, and until such point, we already see conditions in the world aligning for this future timeframe wherein this one-world leader and his ultimate socialist agenda will take center stage. Some people today actually want all this to happen. They’re openly calling for a one-world government. They don’t evaluate their wishes through the lens of God’s Word any more than they do through any filters of common sense. Instead, they are keenly frustrated with anyone who takes a sensible stance against their supposed ‘utopian ideals.’ Why do you think there are hordes of radicals who hate anyone that supports constitutionally-based freedoms, secure borders, and law and order? Why do certain people cheat to win and lie to cover it up? Why does a specific group of people despise Israel, devalue human life, believe in multiple genders, promote division, advance the fallacy of climate change, applaud sexual depravities of all sorts, incarcerate church leaders, defund the police, jail the good guys, release the bad guys, defend a two-tiered justice system, push depopulation, censor truth, celebrate lawlessness, and want to penalize anyone that doesn’t do and see things their way? There’s a group of folks that are largely defined by these positions. It’s these kinds of people that are the prototype of the population that will support the antichrist and his depraved policies when that final apocalyptic leader arrives. The character of his future supporters has never been more self-evident than right now. So – what about this Mark of the Beast thing? To be sure, the present ‘V’ is a conditioning process. It’s setting the stage. It’s a trial run for what’s coming down the road. I absolutely believe this. The jab is a chance to control the population, to force compliance, to manipulate minds, to squash independence, to reward those who believe lies and to penalize those who don’t. It’s a chance to go door to door in a thinly-veiled campaign to gain personal information and to document anyone who resists this new tactic of a globalist agenda. It’s a chance to threaten people to conform – or else! It’s also a key opportunity to publicly ridicule anyone who thinks for themselves and to blame certain folks for problems they really aren’t a part of. It’s a justification for building bias, for fostering hate, for imposing restrictions, for cultivating resentment, for removing rights, and for prospering deception. Getting all these conditions underway will be helpful to achieving the ultimate goal of mass total control. That’s coming, believe me. Meantime, the ‘V’ is little more than a precursor event. Much as it smacks of some of the same dynamics as the real Mark of the Beast, the latter is not here – – not yet. You don’t want to be here on earth when it DOES come. Those will be terrible times – the worst ever according to Jesus (Matthew 24:21). It’s tough to wrap one’s mind around the implications of this. Get your heart right with Jesus Christ while you still have a chance. “If you declare with your mouth that “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9). There is no better time than now to do it. Much like what we have for our financial credit ratings, China's "social credit" system attaches a positive point value to behavior that the government views as praiseworthy (showing integrity, responsibility and/or trustworthiness) and a negative point value for behavior it wants to discourage. "Bad" behavior includes spending too much time playing video games, not caring for aging parents, poor driving, jaywalking, not paying one's debts and, of course, criticizing the government. The enormity of this effort is impossible to overstate. Chinese companies (and foreign companies authorized to do business in China) collect massive amounts of data on Chinese people from their cellphone and internet use and turn it over to the Chinese government. Dozens of government agencies share data and information with each other. Hundreds of millions of surveillance cameras watch Chinese people in cities across the country (with hundreds of millions more to come). Advanced facial recognition technology and complex algorithms assist in determining the identity of those being surveilled in public places. And, of course, there are the "informers" – members of the local community who report the good and bad conduct of their neighbors and co-workers to authorities. Eventually, every Chinese citizen over a certain age will have a "social credit" score. The consequences of a low social credit score are serious. Those with low scores are "blacklisted" and denied travel benefits, including access to visas or even the ability to buy plane or train tickets. They can be denied employment or promotions at work. Their children can be denied access to the best schools and universities. Their names and faces are often placed prominently on public billboards to "name and shame" them. Chinese people interviewed by Western news organizations defended the social credit system, claiming that it will produce more responsible people and a better society. This is perhaps unsurprising, as China does not have the individualist culture America does. But then, the Chinese know that their social credit score may well go down if they do criticize the system, so one may have to take the glowing reviews with a grain of salt. However, Americans should not just shrug off these oppressive initiatives as something that could only happen in China. For one thing, a significant amount of the surveillance technology used by China's Communist government was developed and provided by American companies. These are names we know and recognize, including Seagate, Intel and HP Inc., among others. If the technology can be used there, it can be used here for the same purposes. That should concern us, especially given other trends we are seeing here in the United States. The COVID-19 pandemic seems to have brought out the statist authoritarianism in many of our government officials – and much of the citizenry. Every day, we see more calls for social compliance on pain of sanctions. Information about the efficacy of COVID vaccines and the need for masks are two good examples of why this trend is so dangerous. We cannot seem to get solid, verifiable information on either. Just this week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shifted gears yet again on the need for vaccinated individuals to wear masks and the need for K-12 children to wear masks in schools. Just two weeks ago, we were assured that masks were not necessary because the vaccines are effective. Now, we are being told that the vaccines are effective, but that masks are necessary anyway. But we are not being shown the data that allegedly supports the ever-changing "consensus." Dr. Sanjay Gupta stated on CNN, "this is data that has not even been published yet." And yet, despite the capriciousness of the government's official party line on all things COVID, social and broadcast media are rife with videos of public shaming of non-mask wearers, and calls to "make life hard" for those who will not (or cannot) take the vaccine, including refusing access to public places like restaurants and sports arenas and even denial of medical treatment. Public and private employers across the U.S. are mandating the vaccine, and dozens of lawsuits have been filed by Americans who have already been fired for not getting it. Just last week, the White House announced that they were calling on Facebook and other Big Tech social media companies to censor what President Joe Biden calls "misinformation" about COVID vaccines and the virus itself. But those same social media companies (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) have already been actively censoring accurate information about COVID that Dr. Anthony Fauci, the CDC and Democrats wanted suppressed; specifically, evidence supporting the theory that the virus originated in the Wuhan Institute of Virology. And this is in addition to censoring other accurate information when it promotes conservative political ideas or casts unfavorable light on favorite Democrat politicians. Facebook and Twitter conveniently banned news stories about Biden's son Hunter and the damning information on his laptop right before the November 2020 presidential election. And there's more. Since the 2020 election – and the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol – there has been an active attempt by the Democratic Party and their lap dogs in the press to smear all Trump supporters as "racists," "extremists," "white supremacists," "domestic terrorists" and "the insurrectionist next door." In such a climate, it is even more concerning when the FBI asks people to start reporting family members, neighbors and friends whose beliefs or behavior are "suspicious." And Americans are doing just that. Survey after survey has shown that Americans are much less optimistic than they were during the first half of 2021, and that could have enormous implications for the economy as we roll through the second half of this calendar year. When consumers are pessimistic about the future, they tend to hold on to their money more tightly, and they also tend to allocate money to different priorities. Earlier this year, so many pundits were telling us that a new golden era of prosperity was ahead because the worst of the pandemic was behind us and Joe Biden was now in the White House. But now the Delta variant is causing another wave of mass panic, and an increasing number of Americans are losing faith in the Biden administration. Needless to say, the honeymoon is over, and Americans are not pleased with what they see as they peer into a very bleak future. Let me start by discussing the Gallup survey that just came out. In June, Americans overwhelmingly thought that the worst of the pandemic was in the past, but now the numbers have completely changed… In a dramatic shift from last month, more Americans now say the coronavirus situation in the U.S. is getting worse (45%) rather than better (40%). In June, a record 89% said the situation was getting better, while only 3% said it was getting worse. I can’t remember the last time I saw poll numbers move that much in such a short period of time. The Gallup survey also found that a whopping 42 percent of all Americans anticipate that “societal disruptions related to COVID-19” will continue to be around beyond the beginning of the new year… Americans now expect societal disruptions related to COVID-19 to persist at least through the end of the year, or longer. Whereas in June, nearly half of Americans expected COVID-related disruptions in society to last only a few more weeks or months, now just 17% believe they will end by then. Instead, 41% expect the COVID-19 disruptions to persist through the end of the year, and 42% — up from 17% in June — believe they will stretch into 2022. Joe Biden’s job approval rating is also shifting quite rapidly. In fact, a different survey just found that Biden’s approval rating has dropped a total of 10 points since June… President Biden and Congress’s job approval are taking a hit amid a resurgence of the coronavirus. A Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey released Monday found Biden’s approval dropping to 52 percent. He may still be above water — only 43 percent of respondents disapprove of the job he’s doing in the Oval Office — but he’s down 10 points from where he was in June, when his approval was at 62 percent. Without a doubt, this has not been a good summer for the Biden administration. If Biden keeps fumbling the football over and over, it won’t be too long before his net approval rating turns negative. A third survey that I wanted to mention recently found that the percentage of Americans that are “pessimistic about the direction of the country” has risen by 19 points since May 2nd… As President Joe Biden completed 100 days in office, the country was optimistic about the coming year, but now, just after hitting the six-month mark, Americans’ optimism about the direction of the country has plummeted nearly 20 points, a new ABC News/Ipsos poll finds. A majority — 55% — of the public say they are pessimistic about the direction of the country, a marked change from the roughly one-third (36%) that said the same in an ABC News/Ipsos poll published May 2. That is a 19 percent shift in just 3 months! Have we ever seen a “direction of the country” poll move that much in three months? I don’t know, but this certainly is not good news for the Democrats. When Americans are in a bad mood, they tend to gravitate toward the party that is currently out of power. Of course one of the biggest reasons why Americans are in such a sour mood these days is all of the new restrictions that are currently being implemented around the nation. For example, we just learned that Louisiana Governor Bel Edwards has decided to institute a statewide mask mandate… Today, Gov. John Bel Edwards has temporarily reinstated Louisiana’s statewide mask mandate indoors for all people age five and older as COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations continue to rise across Louisiana, threatening the ability of Louisiana’s hospitals to deliver care during this fourth surge of COVID. Louisiana is currently in the worst surge of the COVID-19 pandemic so far in terms of case growth rate, percent positivity and hospitalizations. In recent days, our corporate news outlets have been packed full of stories about the Delta variant. On Monday, the country was shocked by news that U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham has tested positive even though he has been “fully vaccinated”… Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said Monday that he had tested positive for the coronavirus, even though he was fully vaccinated. “I was just informed by the House physician I have tested positive for COVID-19 even after being vaccinated,” he said. This wasn’t supposed to happen. And it turns out that lots of “fully vaccinated” people have been catching the virus lately… Fourteen of 24 vaccinated friends who visited the Cape Cod town of Provincetown, Massachusetts, in July caught COVID-19, Bloomberg reported on Sunday. Millions of people raced out to get vaccines because they were promised immunity, but now the CDC is releasing new numbers that are deeply upsetting lots of Americans… In a study released on Friday, the CDC tracked 469 cases among Massachusetts residents who visited the town. They found that 74% of those were fully vaccinated. An overwhelming majority of the cases were caused by the Delta variant, the study reported. Let us hope that the number of new cases starts to fade, because this latest wave of the pandemic is causing a tremendous amount of fear and panic right now. And the more fear and panic that we see, the less optimistic Americans are going to be about the road ahead. Of course even if this pandemic disappeared tomorrow, there would still be a great deal for Americans to be concerned about as we roll into the next stages of “the perfect storm”. I know that most Americans just want life to “return to normal”, but the truth is that the past couple of years have changed the U.S. and nations all over the globe on a permanent basis. The troubles of 2020 and 2021 should have brought us together, but instead they just keep tearing us apart. Meanwhile, we continue to see national governments around the planet move in an authoritarian direction, and that is a deeply, deeply alarming trend. Daily Jot: The suppression of truth and the death of many - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com The House Foreign Affairs Committee Minority Staff Report (Report) on the origins of the COVID 19 pandemic and the roles of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the World Health Organization (WHO) tells a horror story on how the CCP and WHO were complicit in covering up the virus in the early stage of the pandemic, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people worldwide, especially in the United States. The Report documents how when Communist Chinese officials knew the deadly virus was active weeks before it was announced, they nationalized supply chains, secretly produced medical supplies, and intentionally prevented export of such supplies. The Report reveals, “It is highly likely that China’s nationalization of the manufacturing capacity of foreign companies, including 3M and General Motors, directly impacted the ability of the United States and other countries to procure PPE on the global market. The CCP threatened to cut off supplies to countries who questioned their false account of the early stages of the pandemic.” The Report indicates that the state-run press agency Xinhua News stated that if the CCP chose to ban pharmaceutical exports to the US, it would be “plunged into the mighty sea of coronavirus.” The Report says, “this tactic is one that the CCP has deployed repeatedly during the pandemic…In sum, the COVID-19 global pandemic could have been prevented if the CCP acted in a transparent and responsible manner.” The Report also documents gain of function research that enabled coronaviruses to bind to human cell receptors was conducted in 2015 and was “partially funded by grants from the U.S. National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Disease and the National Institute of Aging within the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), as well as the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).” This funding was stopped and restarted several times through APRIL 2020. The Report concludes that a leak of the COVID 19 virus from the Wuhan lab, accidental or deliberate, is possible. CCP refuses to cooperate with international investigators, making it impossible to “gather the concrete evidence to prove, or disprove, this theory.” By a vote of 216 to 207 on July 20, House Democrats blocked a bill that would require the declassification of information related to the origins of any role the Wuhan Institute of Virology may have played in the pandemic’s outbreak. A similar bill in the Senate passed unanimously in May. Could it be the Democratic Party and the news media wanted Trump out of office so bad that they suppressed the truth–even at the expense of hundreds of thousands of lives–and even today continue the cover up by censoring the truth and villainizing anyone who questions their false narrative? Could it be that these actors used the COVID 19 crisis to manipulate the economy, control the healthy population, and alter voting laws for political gain? This suppression of the truth by the communists and other sympathetic actors such as Democratic Party leadership and the news media at the expense of life itself is a horrible sin. In fact, the thing they’re always criticizing other people for actually may be their issue. Maybe they’re projecting their own sin onto others. Jesus said, “And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? How can you think of saying to your friend, ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye?” (Matthew 7:3–4 NLT). In other words, we cannot see a single speck in a friend’s eye if we have a telephone pole in our own. I think Jesus was using humor here to make a point. Certainly a camel going through the eye of a needle is a humorous illustration (see Matthew 19:24), and this is as well. Jesus was saying, “Why are you looking for a tiny piece of sawdust in your friend’s eye when you have a telephone pole in your eye?” We’re so quick to go after minutiae in another Christian’s life when we are guilty of a lot worse in our own lives. And maybe the reason we’re so quick to see sin in someone else is because we’re so familiar with it ourselves. Jesus was saying, “Don’t be that person. First confess your own sin.” Forgiven people should be forgiving people. And if we’re so quick to judge, then are we prepared to be judged with the same type of judgment we use for others? Because Jesus also said, “For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged” (Matthew 7:2 NLT). So be careful.
