While We Wait - By Charles Gray Adams Jr - https://www.raptureready.com/2022/03/17/while-we-wait-by-charles-gray-adams-jr/
While growing up, children often look forward to events planned by their parents. This could be a trip to an amusement park or some other adventure they long for. As time passes, the children mature, and the things they look forward to become more important. Marriage comes to mind and having children who will begin to pine for the very things the parent themselves once did. Likewise, God has provided the most important things for mankind to desire. Chief among these things is the gathering of the faithful at the moment of the rapture. Ask around; anyone who has the Spirit of the living God residing in them will tell you the departure of the church is at hand. That is to say, the rapture could happen any second. The doctrine of imminence teaches that this attitude has been prevalent amongst the faithful since the beginning of the church age. Therefore, perhaps the best way to look forward is to look back in an attempt to ascertain the greatest possible way to behave while we wait. Since the very beginning of the church, the best way to exist has been to look to the author and finisher of faith and allow Him to lead and guide (Heb 12:2; Prov 3:5-6).[1] Actually, this statement has been applicable since the time of the very first man. Had Adam kept his eyes on God and followed His leadership without question, the world would be a very different place today. The good news is, the last Adam, Jesus Christ, through perfect obedience, made a way for all to overcome the sin and death introduced by the first. Though all are born of the nature of the first Adam, those who are saved by believing in Jesus the Son of God, the last Adam, will be at the rapture, changed into the mysterious incorruptible ‘spirit-being’ foretold by the apostle Paul (1 Cor 15:35-57). The question at hand, however, is how does one behave while waiting on the aforementioned rapture, the moment of great transformation? Paul concludes his instructions to the Corinthians in regard to the ‘change’ the church is to long for, with the statement: “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord” (1 Cor 15:58). Paul’s words imply that faithfully working for the Lord is the reasonable service of any believer. He also says whatsoever is done for the Lord is counted as worthy. With this in mind, believers should strive to do all things in a manner worthy of God. Could it be this simple? Could the task at hand simply be to do all things as unto the Lord? (Col 3:23). A brief examination of those who were deemed worthy to receive mention in the most holy book ever written, the Bible, will provide adequate proof that this is all one needs in order to overcome while we wait. Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord; Genesis chapter six explains why. The world had become so wicked that God had decided to destroy mankind along with the beasts, creeping things, and the fowls of the air. It was at this time that God found one just man, a man referred to as perfect in his generation. The same faithfulness which caused Noah to receive grace caused him to heed God’s word and build the ark. In fact, Genesis 22 states that “Noah did everything that God commanded him to do.” This is the beginning of a pattern of success we are to follow while we wait. Moses, targeted for destruction by Pharaoh because of fear the Israelites were becoming too strong, was miraculously saved. Ironically, he was saved by the very people who sought his demise, the Egyptians. As incredible as his birth was, this is not what makes him so important to the topic at hand. The story of Moses stretches from the fateful moment in the bulrushes all the way to the Mount of Transfiguration. Many instances could be expounded upon with equal effectiveness; however, one particular moment stands out. Moses had led the people out of Egypt and, on more than one occasion, had to place himself between God and the rebellious children of Israel. One such instance, the rebellion of Korah, provides the key to understanding why Moses was so greatly beloved by the Lord. In the midst of the rebellion, Moses does not reflect on his leadership. Instead, he tells the people they will know the Lord had sent him to do all the works he did by the judgment which would come upon Korah and those with him. Then he provided the secret to his success in his next statement, “For I have not done them of mine own mind” (Num 16:28b). Indeed, Moses did whatsoever the Lord commanded him to do. By the way, things did not go well for Korah and those faithful to him; they ended up swallowed whole by the earth (Num 16). Obviously, these were not doing all things as unto the Lord. David, the shepherd boy who became king, lived a life full of ups and downs. As a youth, he was anointed by Samuel to be king of Israel. Next, he, as a ruddy boy, killed Goliath for blaspheming the God of Israel with a sling and stone, no less. He became great while serving Saul, who attempted to kill him repeatedly; he then fled for his life and lived as a throneless king for a time. After his exaltation to the throne, he fell into sin with Bathsheba and lost a son in the process. King David’s story goes on; however, this last point will suffice. In the midst of his sin, David received forgiveness, not because he was king, but because he was quick to repent (2 Sam 12:13). Yes, David failed to live a perfect life; however, any time he came short of God’s desire, he quickly repented. These instances proved that David lived according to God’s testimony of him; he was a man after God’s own heart who would fulfill all of the Lord’s will (Acts 13:22). Again, the way to ‘live ready’ is to do all the Lord desires. The prophets, named in the Bible, were no different than the patriarchs already discussed. Each one followed the will of the Lord closely, even if it meant maltreatment by their own peoples. Micaiah comes to mind. He was the only prophet in the entire kingdom who would speak the unpopular truth to King Ahab, who desired to war against Syria. After being encouraged by a messenger from the king to speak good things like the four hundred prophets that had already declared victory, Micaiah said, “As the LORD liveth, even what my God saith, that will I speak” (2 Chr 18:13). Of course, the story goes that the king has Micaiah imprisoned and fed only bread and water until the king should return safely. Ironically, even though the king disguises himself, he is felled by a stray arrow, and his passing fulfills the words of the prophet Micaiah with perfect precision. Incredibly, the death of King Ahab also fulfilled a prophecy by another prophet, Elijah (1 Kings 21:19). Micaiah’s desire to speak only what the Lord tells him to speak validates the presented proposal that the best way to wait on the rapture is to be busy doing all things as though doing them to the Lord, even if it brings difficulty. Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life. Therefore, He is the best example possible. In fact, His entire existence on earth was in direct fulfillment of God’s will. The apostle John, the beloved, recorded these words from Jesus, “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me” (John 6:38). Jesus demonstrated the truth of this statement with every action and word. Perhaps, the most poignant example of this is when He prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane. Without a doubt, He knew of the impending turbulent ending of His earthly life when uttering the words, “O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt” (Matt 26:39). Jesus, in the most difficult season of His life, relied solely on the Father’s will, as demonstrated by the remainder of His time on earth. Like Jesus, our reasonable service, even in the midst of great difficulty, is to do all that we do to and for the Lord. The Apostles, the first to live as Christians without Christ on earth, validated the principle before us. They lived and died gracefully, knowing that Jesus was genuine. They had seen and touched Him. They walked with Him for over three years as He taught in word and deed. Incredibly, in the midst of being with Christ, they sometimes struggled to maintain focus on the most important thing, Jesus Christ. For instance, Peter began to sink when he took his eyes off of the one who had called him out onto the waters; later, he denied the Lord three times. Thomas, could not believe in the resurrection without seeing evidence of the risen Savior. Ironically, the disciples slept through the aforementioned prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane, even though Jesus admonished them to pray with Him. These are but a few of the examples of how the apostles struggled to do all things as unto the Lord. The good news is Jesus provided a way for the disciples and all those who believe after them to overcome while waiting. He sent the Holy Spirit, and from the Day of Pentecost onward, the Apostles never looked back. In fact, each one faithfully ministered for the remainder of their lives, which were often cut short by martyrdom. Indeed, the ‘Spirit-filled’ Apostles exemplified how those who followed them, the church, should wait. Since its inception on the aforementioned Day of Pentecost, the church has certainly seen its ups and downs. Throughout its existence, spanning nearly two thousand years, the body of Christ, another name for the church, has been comprised of many individuals. Some have remained faithful to the will of the Lord, while others have fallen astray because of a wandering gaze. For some, the church became a religious function; for others, a means to escape coming judgment. Still others have used the church for gain and thereby have been led astray while also leading others off of the simple ‘narrow path’ of true obedience onto a crooked ‘broad path’ that leads to destruction (Matt 7:13). The journey each believer undertakes while waiting is often affected by this struggle to stay on the right path. Another way to see this fierce combat is to understand it is a war between the flesh and spirit. The flesh wants to do things that make the individual happy; think David and Bathsheba. The spirit, on the other hand, wants to please the Father in the same manner that Jesus did. Therefore, waiting is not a task for the faint of heart. Instead, the one who waits must not shy away from the battle at hand. The good news is, the very fact that one wants to don the armor of God as depicted in Ephesians chapter six and engage in the warfare necessary to maintain a spiritual stance, proves the believer, like any good soldier of Jesus Christ (2 Tim 2:3), has a desire to do all things as unto the Lord. The armor and battle would otherwise be unnecessary. Throughout its existence, the church has demonstrated varying degrees of faithfulness, as demonstrated by the letters to the seven churches in the book of Revelation. Some see these churches as seven sequential church periods marked by the conditions noted in the 2nd and 3rd chapters of the last book of the Bible. However, perhaps it is best to recognize these as physical churches in John’s day, which further represent the possible conditions or combination of conditions of all churches throughout the existence of the church up until the rapture. One sure way to grasp this truth is to examine the words to each church and the admonition, to any that have an ear, to hear what the Spirit says unto the “churches.” The plurality of the message indicates the message for one is for all. Remarkably, this same statement validates the very argument at hand. Notice, regardless of the circumstance of each church, any that ‘have an ear to hear’ are admonished to hear what the Spirit says. One could argue this is the very crux of the Christian life. All Christians are to live daily as children of the Most High who ‘desire to hear from Him’ in order to faithfully live while waiting for our gathering unto Him (1 Thess 4:13-17). This desire to hear indicates one has the necessary faith to ‘do all things as unto the Lord’, which is the best way to emulate Jesus and the other faithful examples provided in Holy Writ. Conclusion Time after time, these examples have shown exactly how to behave while waiting. Each has lived a life wholly dedicated to doing the Lord’s will and speaking what He commands, even though the individual was not always perfect and the way was not always pleasant. Only Jesus lived a sinless, perfect life while doing all things as unto His Father. His life is the one we are to strive to emulate. However, if we, in our struggle, stumble, let us be like King David and quickly repent and continue on our journey of faith while we wait. The Ruble, The Dollar and The Price of Gold – Who Is Really Winning The Economic Chess Game? - by Michael Snyder - http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/the-ruble-the-dollar-and-the-price-of-gold-who-is-really-winning-the-economic-chess-game/ Russia has just made some moves that are going to change the global financial system forever. When the conflict in Ukraine originally erupted, the U.S. immediately attempted to crash the value of Russia’s currency. Those attempts were successful for a few days, but now the value of the ruble relative to the U.S. dollar is almost all the way back to where it was before the start of the war. This has absolutely stunned many of the experts, because they thought that U.S. sanctions would absolutely cripple Russia. So what happened? Well, it turns out that the Russians have made some very savvy moves that have turned the tables on the Biden administration. For one thing, Russia has started to demand payment in rubles when it sells natural gas to non-friendly nations. A lot of countries in western Europe are quite upset about this, but they really have no choice, because they are exceedingly dependent on Russian gas. So from this point forward, western powers are actually going to be forced to help prop up the value of the ruble… Russia wants “unfriendly countries” to pay for Russian natural gas in rubles. That’s a new directive from President Vladimir Putin as he attempts to leverage his country’s in-demand resources to counter a barrage of Western sanctions. “I have decided to implement … a series of measures to switch payments — we’ll start with that — for our natural gas supplies to so-called unfriendly countries into Russian rubles,” Putin said in a televised government meeting, adding that trust in the dollar and euro had been “compromised” by the West’s seizure of Russian assets. Secondly, the Russians have decided that U.S. dollars will no longer be accepted as payment for anything that they sell to other nations. Pavel Zavalny, the head of the Russian parliament, says that U.S. currency “has lost all interest for us”… Much more interesting was Zavalny’s main point, even though it has been mostly overlooked. If other countries want to buy oil, gas, other resources or anything else from Russia, he said, “let them pay either in hard currency, and this is gold for us, or pay as it is convenient for us, this is the national currency.” In other words, Russia is happy to accept your national currency — yuan, lira, ringgits or whatever — or rubles, or “hard currency,” and for them that no longer means U.S. dollars, it means gold. “The dollar ceases to be a means of payment for us, it has lost all interest for us,” Zavalny added, calling the greenback no better than “candy wrappers.” This is huge, but it isn’t being discussed much by the corporate media in the United States. The Russians aren’t just saying that they do not recognize U.S. dollars as the reserve currency of the world any longer. That would be bad enough. At this point, they are actually saying that they will no longer accept U.S. dollars as a form of payment at all. Wow. Thirdly, the central bank in Russia has fixed the value of the ruble to the price of gold for at least the next three months… The Russian central bank will restart buying gold from banks and will pay a fixed price of 5000 roubles ($52) per gramme between March 28 and June 30, the bank said on Friday. But you won’t hear about this on CNN or MSNBC. This is a move that could potentially change everything. Once upon a time, the value of the U.S. dollar was tied to gold, and that helped the U.S. dollar become the dominant currency on the entire planet. But then Nixon took us off the gold standard in the early 1970s, and things have gone haywire ever since. Now Russia has linked the value of the ruble to the price of gold, and many believe that this is really going to shake things up… “I am reminded of what the U.S. did in the middle of the Great Depression. For the next 40 years, gold’s price was pegged to the U.S. dollar at $35. There is a precedent for this. It leads me to believe that Russia’s intention would be for the value of the ruble to be linked directly to the value of gold,” Gainesville Coins precious metals expert Everett Millman told Kitco News. “Setting a fixed price for rubles per gram of gold seems to be the intention. That’s pretty important when it comes to how Russia could seek funding and manage its central bank financing outside of the U.S. dollar system.” Others believe that this move will create great instability in the global financial system. For example, Tom Luongo is warning that the following could soon happen… 1: At $1550 per ounce the first order effect here is that is implies a RUB/USD rate of around 75. Incentivizing those holding RUB to continue and those needing them to bid up the price from current levels. 2: This creates a positive incentive loop to bring the ruble back to pre-war levels. Then after that market effects take over as ruble demand becomes structural, based on Russia’s trade balance. 3: Once that happens and the RUB/USD falls below 75, then the USD price of gold rises structurally draining the paper gold markets and collapsing the financial system based on leveraged/hypothecated gold. Now we’re into the arb. phase @Lukegromen postulated w/ 1000bbls/oz. Time will tell if Luongo is right or if he is wrong. But without a doubt, things have not played out the way that Biden administration officials were hoping. They had hoped that U.S. sanctions would crush the ruble, the Russian financial system and the entire Russian economy. Instead, the Russians have been able to successfully prop up the value of the ruble and have made moves that directly threaten the dominance of the U.S. dollar. No matter what happens with the ceasefire talks, I expect the United States and Russia to continue this economic conflict for the foreseeable future. Ultimately, that will be bad for both of our nations. And as history has shown, economic conflicts have a way of becoming shooting wars way too often. Needless to say, we definitely do not want a shooting war with Russia. Leaders on both sides should be attempting to find ways to achieve peace and to fix the tremendous damage that has already been done. Unfortunately, everyone seems to want to continue to escalate matters, and that should deeply alarm all of us. Nearing Midnight: Food Insecurity – Todd Strandberg - https://www.raptureready.com/category/nearing-midnight/ Sometime last year I wrote an article about how we were facing a shortage of food. We had drought conditions in the US, China, and South America. Normally, things balance out by having a surplus of food production in some other area of the world. If we have a bad year in North America, the next year is likely to be normal or above average. The one thing that has been saving the world from a global famine is the increase in the yield per acre. In the 1940s, the average farmers were only able to produce 40 bushels of corn per acre. Today, a farmer is able to get 144 bushels of corn from an acre of land. In 2020 we had a massive derecho hit the state of Iowa. Millions of acres were damaged by the wild storm. The yield for the whole nation was still up because we had a record harvest per acre that year. Going forward, we cannot rely on higher yields because we simply have reached the limits of turning sunlight into grain. We had about four years in a row where our luck was bad for food production. We are weeks away from the planting of the 2022 crop, and there are already indications that this year will see a shortfall in food production. The condition of China’s winter wheat crop could be the “worst in history,” the agriculture minister said, raising concerns about grain supplies in the world’s biggest wheat consumer. Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the country’s annual parliament meeting, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs Tang Renjian said that rare heavy rainfall last year delayed the planting of about one-third of the normal wheat acreage. A survey of the winter wheat crop taken before the start of winter found that the amount of first- and second-grade crop was down by more than 20 percentage points, Tang said. “Not long ago, we went to the grassroots to do a survey, and many farming experts and technicians told us that crop conditions this year could be the worst in history,” he said. “This year’s grain production indeed faces huge difficulties.” Argentina has long been one of the largest exporters of corn and soybeans. It has halted all exports of soy products. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine disrupted the global food supply chain as the prospect of dwindling stockpiles catapulted food prices to record highs. According to a memo signed by Javier Preciado Patino, the secretary for agriculture markets, Argentina made moves last week to increase control over local farm goods by suspending soybean meal and oil for export. Following the news from Argentina, soy meal futures prices jumped more than 2.2%. Since late February, Argentina has intervened in food markets with a subsidy for the domestic wheat industry similar to earlier policies for vegetable oils to mitigate soaring costs for consumers. The UN expects global food prices could increase another 8%-20% from here. “The government typically puts a block on the export register, known as DJVE, before increasing taxes on shipments in order to stop farmers from preempting the hike with a flood of selling,” Bloomberg said, adding there’s speculation on commodity desks that Argentina will increase taxes on soy meal and oil to 33% from 31%. Soy traders tell Reuters the sudden halt in Argentine supplies will steer importers toward the United States and Brazil for replacement supplies. “Buyers have no choice but to reduce consumption or go to alternative sources for supplies,” said one Singapore-based trader. “We expect higher demand for U.S. meal. In Southeast Asia, buyers such as Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand were heavily reliant on the Argentine meal.” Indonesia, the world’s largest exporter of cooking oil, will reduce exports of edible oils as a domestic shortage sparks panic hoarding among households, a sign of rising protectionism around the world as countries deal with record-high food prices. The nation of Ukraine is the largest exporter of sunflower oil. There will obviously be a shortfall of this product on the global market. Russia is one of the largest exporters of fertilizer in the world. With Western sanctions blocking the movement of potash, ammonia, urea, and other soil nutrients, the yields of corn, soy, rice, and wheat are going to be hurt. In agricultural powerhouse Brazil, some farmers are already applying less fertilizer to their crops, and some federal legislators are pushing to open protected indigenous lands for the mining of potash. In Zimbabwe and Kenya, small farmers are reverting to using manure to nourish their crops. In Canada, one canola farmer has already stockpiled fertilizer for the 2023 season in anticipation of even higher prices ahead. Another blow to food production has been the spread of a highly pathogenic Bird Flu. Egg prices have soared as millions of chickens have been wiped out by the virus. Spread by migratory bird droppings, the U.S. Department of Agriculture is reporting cases in 30 states, totaling roughly 13 million birds that have had to be killed. To find out why we are having so many problems with food production, we need to turn to Bible prophecy. Jesus said that calamitous events would be the warning sign of the last days. They would get worse over time, like birth pangs. This is what we are experiencing, so the rapture must be very near. “As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. ‘Tell us,’ they said, ‘when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?’ Jesus answered: ‘Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains'” (Matthew 24:3-8, NIV). The Deadly Tax - By Hal Lindsey - https://www.hallindsey.com/ww-6-2-2021/ The third of the “Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse” is usually known as “Scarcity.” It might also be called “Inflation.” Revelation 6:6 describes a situation during the seven years of tribulation. “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius.” A “denarius” represents a day’s pay. Imagine working all day for a quart of wheat or three quarts of barley. This denotes scarcity, but also inflation. Money won’t buy what it used to. Americans experienced heavy inflation in the 1970s. But that is nothing compared to the hyperinflation experienced by Venezuelans over the last few years. From 2016 to 2019, the inflation rate in Venezuela rose to 53 million percent. That’s not a typo. The number comes from the Central Bank of Venezuela. Can you fathom what such inflation would do to a savings account or to anyone on a fixed income? We Americans remember “double-digit” inflation as a nightmare. They experienced “eight-digit” inflation! In the last few months, inflation has again become noticeable in the United States. Also, for the first time in a long time, Americans have seen shortages of important commodities. Both the shortages and the inflation seem to be getting worse. The question is, how bad will it get? The answer doesn’t look good. On Friday, May 28th, 2021 the Biden Administration submitted a new budget proposal to Congress. According to USA Today, “The budget projects the federal debt would increase, relative to the size of the economy, to a higher level than during World War II.” Venezuela and many other countries trace their hyperinflation to high government debt. High debt forces governments to create money to pay their debts. Vast amounts of money enter the economy, but that money loses value. The US Federal Reserve controls the money supply in the United States. But where does the Fed get its money? According to Investopedia, “The Fed creates money through open market operations, i.e. purchasing securities in the market using new money, or by creating bank reserves issued to commercial banks.” They “create money.” They are “creating bank reserves.” They make “new money” as needed. They still print cash, but that’s a small part of today’s money supply. Most money today is digital. Partially in response to the Covid-induced economic slowdown, the Fed has been creating a lot of money. Meanwhile, the government has been spending money at staggering levels. This spending spree is not just happening in the United States. It is a worldwide phenomenon. That means the whole globe could be headed for a financial crisis of massive proportions. According to Revelation 13, the Antichrist and False Prophet will come to control the global economy. It sounds like the world will be in such great financial desperation that they will give the planetary power of the purse to their new leader. We seem to be headed for such a crisis. And in Venezuela, they learned that it can happen fast. Is it time for despair? Not if you are a disciple of Jesus. He made certain promises to you. Those promises do not depend on the monetary policies of your country, or the value of the money in your savings account. In times like this, it’s important to lean into Him. Trust Him. Walk in His grace. Don’t let the signs of the times make you afraid. Instead, allow them to give you confidence that the God who promised to take care of you is still in charge. Things are happening exactly as He said they would. Daily Jot: Stupidocrisy: Lies and Censorship - Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com The extreme left (translated Democratic Party) is batting zero percent on big ticket claims against those with whom it disagrees. In fact, on just about every issue of corruption accusations and misinformation assertions by the Democratic Party and their lapdog legacy media, they have been proven wrong. Not only are they wrong, in many cases members of the accusing class were doing exactly or worse than what they accused. Taking inventory—Russian corruption charges against President Trump were found baseless, yet his opponent Hillary Clinton, her husband and her campaign chairman were milking millions from Russian pay to play schemes through their Clinton Foundation. There’s more. Joe Biden bragged about holding up Ukraine defense funds until an investigation of his son, Hunter, was dropped by the Ukraine government. Donald Trump was falsely brought up on impeachment charges for asking for information on Hunter’s corruption in Ukraine. Then there is the tip of the iceberg of corruption being played out with Hunter’s laptop, which the news media claimed was a hoax, but now is proven to be true. At the time the New York Post broke the story, every legacy media outlet of note condemned the story as a Russian misinformation campaign. As it turns out, it was a misinformation campaign conducted by the Democratic Party and corporate media to suppress the truth. These are the things that swayed the election in favor of Biden. But wait, the election. The legacy media and Democratic Party declared there was no election fraud and that the 2020 presidential election was not stolen. They backed up their claim by ridiculing, demonizing, and canceling anyone who begged to differ. Since then, election fraud has been uncovered in Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona and Texas. A True the Vote investigation reveals that 137,500 2020 presidential ballots in Wisconsin were unlawfully trafficked, bringing the total to 4.8 million nationwide. Biden “beat” Trump in Wisconsin by less than 21,000 votes. James Bopp, Jr., an elections attorney for 49 years, told the Wisconsin Assembly’s Committee on Campaigns and Elections that Democrats filed 425 lawsuits leading up to the 2020 election to insure ineligible people remained on the voter rolls and to stop anti-fraud protections. And how about the lies and censorship surrounding the COVID vaccine? Effective? It didn’t prevent the disease or the transmission of it. Safe? The Epoch Times has documented over 400 SCIENTIFIC studies that refute the safety and efficacy of the vaccines, and effectiveness of the lockdowns, and treatments. Yet, those health professionals, doctors and scientists that dare questioned the government’s propaganda on COVID were censored, demonized and many lost their jobs. And hundreds of thousands lost their lives due to mandated government treatments and more are suffering side effects of the vaccine on a day to day basis. Proverbs 19:9 says, “A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaks lies shall perish.” There is a whole lot of justice that needs to take place. Meantime, it’s, say it with me…Stupidocrisy. Daily Devotion: On the Right Path - by Greg Laurie – www.harvest.org Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it. —Proverbs 22:6 https://harvest.org/resources/devotion/on-the-right-path/ Listen A father and his son were hiking up a mountain when they came to a difficult place on the trail. While the father was contemplating which way he should go, he heard his son say, “Choose the right path, Dad. I’m coming right behind you.” As parents, we have a direct influence on our children. Our children are watching us. They listen to what we say, but more importantly, they watch what we do. Let’s say, for instance, that you drink in front of your children. Then one day your children have a problem with alcohol, and you wonder why. Or perhaps you fight with your spouse in front of your children and maybe even ask them to take sides in the argument (which is always a horrible idea). Then you’re shocked when your adult children have the same issues in their marriages. When the Bible talks about the sins of the parents being visited on the children, it isn’t describing a mystical curse that is passed on from generation to generation. Rather, it’s simply talking about the repeated behavior of sin that can be passed on. For example, if parents are divorced, chances are far greater that their children will end up divorced. However, if both parents attend church regularly, chances are far greater that their children will attend regularly as well. So, not only can we pass sins on to our children, but we can pass blessings on to them as well. And it’s a lot easier to build a child than to repair an adult. Be the godly example. Be the godly leader. Read the Bible to your children before they go to bed at night. Pray with them. As you do that, you’re modeling what it is to be a follower of Jesus Christ. Live a life with Christ that will make your children desire the same relationship with Him. FROM THE HEART Let Us Make the Short Time We have Left, Count for ALL of Eternity! America is in more danger of falling than at any time in its history. But I believe Bible prophecy predicts this very decline. From this point on, we believers have to get serious. We are going to face discouragement, disillusionment and, most certainly, persecution in the time between now and the Rapture. But don't be discouraged or disillusioned. The coming turmoil will provide us unrivaled opportunities to share the good news of the Gospel. So be ready to share your faith and your hope with those who need Christ. We still have time to reap a great harvest of souls for God's kingdom!" - Hal Lindsey 1) We need your prayers!- We proclaim the Truth of the Word of God and we are under constant spiritual and sometimes even physical attack. 2) We need your encouragement!- We need to hear from you, let us know how the Lord is blessing you through this ministry so that we can share it with others. 3) We need your input! - If you have a prophetic article or story or if there is a news related item we missed, let us know. 4) We need your financial support!- To put it quite simply, without your support, there would be no Prophecy Update. I ask that you would prayerfully consider partnering with us to get the Word out and keep the world informed. Remember, your gift, no matter how small, does make a difference! You will be helping to touch lives, around the world, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, thanks to the internet your generosity carries a global impact! - Thanks! Our Prayer for You- "Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else." 2 Corinthians 9:10-13 If you have been blessed by Prophecy Update and would like to help support this ministry financially.
