World Government is Rising in America - By Daymond Duck - https://www.raptureready.com/2021/05/09/world-government-is-rising-in-america-by-daymond-duck/
Here are some recent events that seem to indicate that world government is rising in America.
One, concerning hyper-inflation, economic collapse, and famine: on Apr. 29, 2021, it was reported that the price of food is soaring in Asia, a region that contains more than half of the world’s population, and history shows that soaring food prices eventually lead to social unrest (The French Revolution of 1789, Europe’s Revolutions in 1848, and a revolution in Russia in 1917).
Concerning the signs of His coming: Jesus said there will be “upon the earth, distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring” (Luke 21:25).
This is usually interpreted in one of two ways: the waves and seas roaring represent an increase in cyclones, hurricanes, etc., at sea; and roaring (social unrest, rioting, demonstrating, etc.) in the sea of humanity (Rev. 17:15).
Two, also concerning hyper-inflation and an economic collapse: it is being reported that the Biden administration is planning to spend 6 trillion dollars just in the next 6 months alone.
Some economists say America’s debt-to-GDP ratio is higher than it has been since the end of WWII, and another 6 trillion dollars will destroy the U.S. dollar.
Three, concerning world government: on Apr. 28, 2021, Pres. Biden addressed the nation and a joint session of Congress.
As expected, he accused America of “systemic racism,” a vague term that many say means because of slavery and segregation in America, black people do not get fair treatment at school, at work, in elections, in housing, in anything; and everyone in America, especially white Republicans, is guilty.
Using the death of George Floyd as an illustration, Biden said, the “knee of injustice [is] on the neck of black America.”
In response, the black Senator from South Carolina, Tim Scott, said, “Hear me clearly: America is not a racist country,” and he added, “It’s backwards to fight discrimination with different discrimination.”
Aside from wondering how this black man got elected to the U.S. Senate if America is so racist, and aside from noting that this black man pointed out that Democrats want to fight racism by discriminating against all white people, U.S. citizens need to understand that the purpose of portraying America as a bad nation is to restructure America and bring it into a godless world government.
According to the Bible, America will be subjected to a godless world government that is far worse than what we have today; and billions of people, including multitudes of the black people, will regret the day it happened.
Four, concerning world government: on Apr. 30, 2021, Dr. Andy Woods and Jim McGowan discussed the U.S.-Mexico Border Crisis on Pastors’ Point of View #163.
The Biden administration has delegated authority over the crisis to Vice-Pres. Kamala Harris, but she has not even visited the border.
For whatever it is worth, she says she is working with the radical U.S. Ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, to get the international community’s help.
Kamala Harris is delegating control of the U.S. border with Mexico to unelected foreigners instead of the U.S. Border Patrol, building a wall, etc.
The fact is, according to the Migration Policy Institute, during his first 100 days in office, Biden issued 94 Executive Orders that have dismantled America’s immigration policies and throw the border wide open.
Five, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: Pres. Biden is now involved in indirect talks with Iran over that terrorist nation’s quest for nuclear weapons.
This prompted Israel’s Intelligence Minister, Eli Cohen, to warn that “a bad deal will send the region spiraling into war.”
Cohen said, “Israel will not allow Iran to attain nuclear arms. Iran has no immunity anywhere. Our planes can reach everywhere in the Middle East.”
An Israeli attack on Iran would almost surely result in Iran attacking Israel, a war that the Bible says will happen in the latter years and latter days (Ezek. 38:8, 16).
Six, concerning the Mark of the Beast: on May 1, 2021, Dave Hodges reported on The Common Sense Show that New Zealand has just made Covid vaccinations mandatory without public notice, discussion, etc.
Seven, concerning persecution: Evangelist, Mike Gendron, bought a round-trip ticket from Texas to Green Bay on A.A. to speak at a conference.
Gendron said the only time he did not wear a mask was while he was drinking a cup of water, and no flight attendant ever asked him to put his mask on.
Two days later, when Gendron checked in at the airport to return to Texas, he was told he was banned from flying on A.A. for not wearing a mask on his trip to Green Bay.
An overnight hotel room and a ticket on another airline cost him another $600, and none of the money he paid A.A. for a round-trip ticket was refunded.
After a week of trying to straighten this out, A.A. stopped taking Gendron’s calls.
Why he was reportedly falsely banned for not wearing a mask is a matter of speculation.
Persecution of those that object to what is happening to America is intensifying almost daily.
Eight, A reader sent an e-mail reminding me that some past prophecy teachers have suggested that world leaders might use the Rapture to deceive people.
Several highly respected prophecy teachers speculated for years that globalists might promote the Rapture as an alien abduction to scare people into uniting against a threat from outer space and thereby accept a one-world government.
I consulted with a friend, and we agreed that it is time to remind people of this.
My friend even sent a link to an Apr. 30, 2021, article titled, “Pentagon whistleblower warns of UFO intelligence failure on ‘level of 911.'”
The whistleblower, a former Pentagon investigator, said there is something out there and U.S. citizens need to be told.
As it turns out, the U.S. government will release files on the subject in June.
Just know this: The Church will be removed from planet Earth by Jesus, not UFOs from outer space.
This is not to say that UFOs don’t exist or that people don’t need to know about them, but it is to say that people shouldn’t allow themselves to be deceived and scared into a world government because leaders have decided to admit that UFOs are not a conspiracy theory or because they have made up lies to convince people that a world government is needed to defend the planet.
The rise of the Antichrist over a Satanic world government is a greater threat than aliens from outer space.
Christians oppose a godless world government, but they support the coming world government of Jesus during the Millennium.
Christians oppose the false peace on earth that the Antichrist will promote, but they support the peace on earth that the Prince of Peace (Jesus) will establish.
Christians oppose the false religions of Mother Earth, the Green New Deal, Chrislam, etc., but they support the true teachings and worship of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as recorded in the Bible (God’s will).
Nine, concerning godless world government: the fact that the Democrat Party left God out of their Party Platform is now old news, and so is the fact that on Feb. 26, 2021, Jerry Nadler, a Democrat from New York, said, “What any religious tradition describes as God’s will is no concern of this Congress.”
It has now been reported that the National Day of Prayer will not be allowed at the U.S. Capitol for the first time in 70 years.
There was a request for prayer at the Capitol, but it was denied supposedly because the Capitol is closed due to the January 6 protests.
This writer believes prayer is badly needed, and the truth is that those that have taken over the Capitol support a godless world government.
The America that was based on Judeo-Christian values no longer exists.
Jesus said the day of His coming will be like the days of Noah (Matt: 24:37).
In the days of Noah, God saw that the wickedness of man was great. He was grieved and decided to destroy man with a Flood (Gen. 6:5-7).
Ten, on May 2, 2021, it was reported that California plans to release at least 76,000 inmates.
Critics say putting thousands of criminals back on the streets will increase wickedness and criminal activity in California.
To make matters worse, police are retiring or quitting in record numbers all over the U.S. because of the “Defund the Police” movement, the liability, and the abuse and hatred that is being directed toward them.
Finally, if you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

Israel’s ruling class refuses to see the effect the U.S. administration is having on the Middle East—from the Taliban in Afghanistan to Syria to surging Palestinian violence against Israelis.
Since the Democrats took control of the White House and both houses of Congress one hundred days ago, the Middle East has become a powder keg. But Israel’s ruling class sees nothing.
In Afghanistan and Iraq, violent attacks against U.S. forces are rising steeply. From January through April, attacks on U.S. forces increased 40 percent. President Joe Biden’s announcement that the United States will withdraw its forces from the country by Sept. 11, the 20th anniversary of the jihadist attacks on the United States, worsened the situation by communicating a message of profound American weakness and defeatism. The Taliban, Al-Qaeda and Iran clearly believe they are now free to humiliate and bleed the United States as they take control of the country.
In Iraq, Iranian-controlled Shi’ite militias launched three missile strikes against U.S. bases last week. Hoping to avoid confrontation with Iran as its emissaries appease Tehran in Vienna, the Biden administration is assiduously avoiding acknowledging that Iran is behind the attacks, and so it guarantees that more attacks will soon follow. As in Afghanistan, Iran reads U.S. behavior as an invitation to strike with impunity.
In Syria, Iran’s Syrian proxy President Bashar Assad and Iran’s Lebanese proxy Hezbollah continue to wage a war of extermination against Syrians who oppose them.
While turning a blind eye to Syria, the Biden administration continues to empower the Lebanese armed forces and government—both wholly controlled by Iran through Hezbollah. Last month, the administration transferred armored trucks valued at $14 million to the Hezbollah-controlled Lebanese military and asked that Congress provide financial assistance to the government. Hezbollah for its part has launched a charm campaign on the public. Having caused the government to go bankrupt and forced the people of a once prosperous land into destitution, Hezbollah is now carrying out a well-publicized food drive, handing out Iranian basic foodstuffs to starving Lebanese, along with Hezbollah membership cards.
Just months ago, hope abounded that Saudi Arabia would join the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan in normalizing relations with Israel. But the picture is now reversed. Recognizing the United States has changed sides, the Saudis no longer believe that with Israel they can contain Iran. So now they are hoping to cut a deal with the ayatollahs.
Ties between Israel and the UAE are also showing signs of stress. Two weeks ago, the UAE joined the anti-Israel cavalcade, releasing a statement condemning Israel for quelling Arab violence against Jews in Jerusalem. And last week, reports emerged that Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif paid a visit to the Emirates.
In Vienna, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Arachi told journalists that the U.S. team has agreed to remove economic sanctions on Iranian oil sales, banks, maritime shipping, firms and officials. Arachi said that the United States has agreed to release $7 billion in frozen funds and Britain has agreed to release an additional $400 million pounds in return for four American and one British hostage being held in Iran. The United States also agreed to release four Iranians being held in U.S. prisons. After days of vague denials, the State Department confirmed major sanctions relief is on the table.
While the Biden administration has yet to focus on the Palestinians, its statements and appointments have empowered Fatah and Hamas to launch a new campaign against Israel.
Following Palestinian Authority and Fatah chairman Mahmoud Abbas’s cancellation of the Palestinian elections, Fatah returned to killing Jews. For the first time in years, Fatah’s Nablus office publicly defended a terror attack, in northern Samaria, in which one seminary student was murdered and two more were critically wounded in a drive-by shooting as they stood at a bus stop.
Ahead of Israel’s Jerusalem Day this week, Iran’s Jerusalem Day last week and the end of Ramadan, both Hamas and Fatah were focused on Israel’s capital. Although the focal point of Arab violence was initially the Damascus Gate to the Old City, where Arab gangs beat Jews in the street, it has now moved to Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in north-east Jerusalem.
After decades of court battles, and countless court orders requiring Arab squatters to be removed from the Jewish owned homes in Sheikh Jarrah, the Supreme Court is set to end the legal saga with a final verdict on May 10. Hamas leaders Khaled Mashaal and Ismail Haniyeh announced last week that May 9 would be “a turning point for the war against the occupation and the settlers.”
Hamas’s terror kingpin Mohammed Deif joined the threatening chorus as well. In his first statement since 2014, Deif threatened that if Israel evicts the squatters, “The move will not go unanswered and the occupation will pay a heavy price.”
On Thursday night the riots in Sheikh Jarrah began in earnest, with Arab mobs setting fire outside Jewish homes and assaulting Jewish residents of the neighborhood. Earlier in the week, the Palestinians launched their political warfare campaign to demonize Israel.
As reported by the excellent Telegram page “Abu Ali Express,” which tracks events in the Arab world, Palestinians put English subtitles on a video of Israeli police arresting an Arab suspect in Sheikh Jarrah. In it, the suspect says, “You are suffocating me,” as the police restrain him on the ground and handcuff him.
The purpose of the video is obvious—the Palestinians seek to draw a direct line between the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis and Israeli law enforcement in Jerusalem. And it is working.
On Thursday, the European Union and the governments of most major E.U. states, along with the Biden State Department, issued statements condemning Israel and insisting that Israel’s control over its unified capital, along with Judea and Samaria, is “illegal.” Whatever is coming this week will be the first expression of a coordinated Palestinian-Western assault against Israeli control over Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria since Biden entered office.
The Palestinians understand two key truths. First, the only unified foreign policy the European Union has is delegitimization of Israel. Second, for the Biden administration and Democrats as a whole, there is no difference between foreign policy and domestic policy. The administration is supportive of Iran and the Palestinians because Biden and his advisers apply the same identity politics to their foreign policy as they do to their domestic policy.
Identity politics hold that the United States was born in sin and systemically racist. To cleanse its soul, America must adopt a two-tier system of governance in which members of recognized “victim” groups are given extraordinary rights and members of recognized “oppressor” groups must be punished. And just as America is morally infirm and must mend its evil ways, so its allies—particularly Israel—must be similarly punished and forced to transform themselves.
Biden gave voice to this position in his speech before Congress last week. There he presented a portrait of the United States as an inherently racist state. This racism, he claimed, was preserved and enforced by the law enforcement system, which suffers from “systemic racism.” Police reform laws that he and his fellow Democrats intend to promulgate, he said, will remedy the situation.
To understand what Biden was referring to we can look to New York State, where the Democrat-controlled government passed a bail reform law in 2019. The new law effectively gave tens of thousands of violent criminals a get-out-of-jail-free card by making it extremely difficult for judges to either remand criminal suspects to custody pending their trial or impose bail as a condition for pretrial release. The consequence of the reform has been a massive increase in violent crimes statewide.
This week, and not for the first time, New York’s Jews were victimized by their state’s no-bail policy. For 11 days, a black assailant terrorized the Jewish community of Riverdale in the Bronx. Jordan Burnette vandalized four synagogues, some multiple times, before police arrested him. After one judge imposed $20,000 bail on Burnette, the local prosecutor went to a more politically savvy judge, who cancelled her colleague’s ruling and set him free.
Thanks to Democrat control over the White House and both houses of Congress, soon the entire country will have the two-tiered justice system now in place in New York, where favored groups are protected and disfavored groups are left to fend for themselves.
The tyranny of the identity-politics-driven Democrats has brought about a level of social and political polarization in America unseen since the Civil War. It is not a stretch to say that today there are two Americas and two American peoples living side by side in hostility and fear. While it is impossible to foretell how things will develop, it is also impossible to believe that a positive or peaceful outcome to this explosive situation is likely.
This brings us to Israel. At this moment of profound and perilous uncertainty, Israel’s ruling class—particularly in the media and the security establishment—is dangerously blind to what is happening. On Tuesday, Avi Benayahu, a former IDF spokesman and a fixture in the media-security establishment, gave voice to the ruling class’s myopia in a post on his Twitter account. Benayahu presented the current situation in the United States as utopian and gushed that Israel could enjoy the same lucky fate if Likud and the rightist bloc are replaced by what the left has euphemistically dubbed a “government of change.” That is, a leftist government joined by antisemitic Arab parties and opportunistic formerly rightist parties.
Benayahu gushed, “You want to see what ‘change’ looks like? Look at the U.S. under Biden. Look and listen to the quiet, to the normalcy, to the sanity and tranquility that have fallen on America. There’s no fake news, no racist statements, no attacks on the media and the judges and there’s great attention being paid to domestic affairs. Biden is working for America’s citizens. For everyone. That’s what change looks like!”
Benayahu’s position owes to two factors. First, like his fellow leftists, Benayahu shares the Democrats’ progressive mindset. Second, Israel’s ruling class gets its information on Israel’s most important ally from media organs like The New York Times and CNN. Benayahu and his fellow elitists fail to recognize that these outlets have long abandoned their role as news organizations and have transformed themselves into the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party.
The reality obscured by the Democrats’ media echo chamber is that Biden’s domestic policies have launched American society into a downward spiral driven by hatred and fear. His foreign politics have placed Israel in the eye of a storm of epic proportions.
With its members now grasping the reins of power, Israel’s ruling class must face the truth of the situation.
Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem - By Hal Lindsey - https://www.hallindsey.com/ww-5-6-2021/
Reports from Israel this week reminded me of a place in scripture where God Himself makes a prayer request. Psalms 122:6 says, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.”
Jerusalem’s i24 News reported on April 27th, “At least 40 rockets have been fired into Israel by Palestinian terrorists from the Gaza Strip over the weekend, marking the most dramatic escalation in tensions between the two sides in months.” At the same time, Iran continues its series of assaults on Israel, mostly using proxies in Syria and Lebanon. Over the weekend, Iran showed off more of its massive and growing fleet of drones to be used in kamikaze style attacks.
In the middle of these dangers, Israel has struggled to elect a government. In each of the last four elections, Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party received the most votes. But in their parliamentary form of government, the vote splits between many parties. Prime Minister Netanyahu keeps finding it impossible to assemble enough willing partners to form a governing coalition. He has remained in charge, but the uncertainty weakens the nation in a difficult time.
Praying for Jerusalem has always made sense, but especially now. That raises an important question. Why would God give a prayer request? If He’s telling us about it, then He clearly knows the need. Why doesn’t He just do the thing He is telling us to ask Him for? Why loop us in? If you follow that line of reasoning, you’ll soon ask why we should ever pray. In Matthew 6:8, Jesus said, “Your Father knows what you need, before you ask Him.”
Yet clearly the Bible teaches us to pray. Philippians 4:6 in the New Living Translation says, “Pray about everything.” In Jeremiah 33:3, God makes it crystal clear. “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says, “Pray without ceasing.” Colossians 4:2 says, “Devote yourselves to prayer.” Ephesians 6:18 says, “Pray at all times in the Spirit.” According to Luke 18:1, Jesus taught His disciples that “at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart.”
Why pray? Pray so that God “will tell you great and mighty things.” Pray so that you will “not lose heart.” Most of all, pray because God says to pray. You don’t have to understand how something works to know and trust that it will. You don’t have to be an engineer or a mechanic to drive a car. You don’t have to be an electrician to flip on a light switch.
But on the question of why pray when God already knows the need, there seems to be an obvious answer. He wants to include us in the conversation. He wants us to be part of His plan.
Also, prayer shapes us. The instruction in Philippians 4:6, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything,” covers a lot of territory. Should you pray about a baseball game? If you’re tempted to worry about it, then you should pray about it. The beauty of such prayer is that it will change your attitude about the game. Taking matters before God — even seemingly trivial things — changes your priorities. In the light of His presence, you’ll begin to see what’s really important. You will find yourself praying for everyone’s safety — your team and the other team. You’ll pray that the Lord’s name will be honored, and His word go forth. You will pray for the opposing side as heartily as you pray for your own. Prayer will change things on the field. More important, it will change the tenor of your heart. Prayer helps sync your will with His will.
And so it is with prayer for Jerusalem. You do it out of obedience, but then you will find yourself doing it because your heart has changed. As you pray, you will begin to sense God’s heart for Jerusalem, her people, and His plan for the world. That plan in many ways centers on Jerusalem. God wants you to be a part of His great plan for the ages. Praying for Jerusalem brings you into His inner circle.
Why Is the Mainstream Media Suddenly Freaking Out About the Horrifying Inflation That Is Ahead of Us? - by Michael Snyder - http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/why-is-the-mainstream-media-suddenly-freaking-out-about-the-horrifying-inflation-that-is-ahead-of-us/
Have you noticed that the corporate media has suddenly become obsessed with rising prices over the past week or so? Day after day, mainstream news outlets are barraging us with stories about inflation, and even CNN is occasionally taking a break from bashing Republicans to cover this. Earlier today, I was directed to a CNN article entitled “Prices are rising everywhere you look”, and I decided to read it. Surprisingly, this was one CNN article that would actually pass an impartial fact check. We really are seeing very painful inflation throughout the entire economy, and this is causing many to recall the days of “stagflation” under Jimmy Carter in the 1970s.
But the corporate media doesn’t exactly have a long track record of being straight with us.
So why are they seemingly being honest with us in this case?
Is it that this crisis has now become so obvious that nobody can deny it any longer, or is there another agenda at work?
I wish that I had an answer to that question. If you go to Google News and type “inflation” into the search bar, you will get page after page after page of recent articles about rising prices. To me, food inflation is one of the greatest concerns because it hits average American families particularly hard. And at this point, even the price of apples is rising quite dramatically…
Costs for apples are up 10% to 20% depending on the variety, said Mike Ferguson, vice president of produce and floral at Topco Associates LLC, an Elk Grove Village, Ill.-based cooperative of more than 40 food companies including grocer Wegmans Food Markets Inc. Bananas and leafy greens are more expensive too, Topco said, while vegetable oils and oil-heavy products like salad dressing and mayonnaise are also getting pricier in part because of higher ingredient prices.
“Our overall goal is to cover cost increases,” said Jon Moeller, operating chief at Procter & Gamble Co. Procter & Gamble is raising prices on baby products, adult diapers and feminine-care brands.
For a while, some food producers tried to swallow the cost increases that they were experiencing, but that could only go on for so long.
Now many of those cost increases are being passed on to consumers, and the CEO of Kellogg is admitting that he hasn’t seen this sort of inflation “in many, many years”…
Kellogg Co., maker of Frosted Flakes, Cheez-Its and Pringles, said Thursday that higher costs for ingredients, labor and shipping are pushing it and other food makers to raise prices. “We haven’t seen this type of inflation in many, many years,” Chief Executive Officer Steve Cahillane said.
But at least food prices are not going up as fast as used vehicle prices have been rising. The following comes from Wolf Richter…
This has been going on for months: Used-vehicle prices spiking from jaw-dropper to jaw-dropper, and just when I thought prices couldn’t possibly spike further, they do.
Prices of used vehicles that were sold at auctions around the US in April spiked by 8.3% from March, by 20% year-to-date, by 54% from April 2020, and by 40% from April 2019, according to the Used Vehicle Value Index released today by Manheim, the largest auto auction operator in the US and a unit of Cox Automotive.
A 54 percent increase in 12 months?
That is insane.
And the Fed still has the gall to insist that inflation has been “low”.
I have written quite a few articles about how home prices have been soaring into the stratosphere, and now rents are escalating rapidly as well.
In fact, one of the largest landlords in America just raised rents on vacant properties by 11 percent…
On Thursday, American Homes 4 Rent, which owns 54,000 houses, increased rents 11% on vacant properties in April, the company reported in a statement
All throughout the economy we see prices going up by double digits.
But Fed officials insist that these price increases are just “transitory” and are not any sort of a permanent problem.
We are also being told that all of the shortages that have emerged in the past couple of months are “temporary” too. Some of these shortages are starting to become quite painful, and that is particularly true for the global shortage of computer chips that we are currently experiencing…
In the market for a new car, smartphone or washing machine this year? A global shortage of computer chips could mean you have to wait a while — and pay more.
A growing number of manufacturers around the world are having trouble securing supplies of semiconductors, delaying the production and delivery of goods and threatening to push up the prices paid by consumers.
Just think of all the products that you own that contain computer chips.
It isn’t a short list.
As a society, we have become extremely dependent on computer chips, and CNN is admitting that this shortage “is likely to last through 2021”…
The shortage is going from bad to worse, spreading from cars to consumer electronics. With the bulk of chip production concentrated in a handful of suppliers, analysts warn that the crunch is likely to last through 2021.
This shortage is having a dramatic impact up and down various supply chains, and that is going to be the case for the foreseeable future.
At the Sogefi manufacturing facility in West Virginia, the computer chip shortage is just one of the shortages that is causing massive headaches right now…
Whenever the Sogefi plant here runs out of resin or computer chips or cardboard boxes or wooden pallets or really anything at all, it’s Randy Simpkins’s problem. And whenever one of Sogefi’s customers howls about a late shipment, that’s Simpkins’s problem, too.
These days, Simpkins has plenty of problems.
Our economy is not functioning very smoothly at all, and that isn’t going to change any time soon.
But on Friday we were supposed to get some good economic news.
The U.S. economy was supposed to have added about a million jobs in April, but instead we learned that it only added 266,000…
Employers added a disappointing 266,000 jobs in April even as the number of new COVID-19 cases stayed low, more states lifted constraints and vaccinations accelerated.
The gains fell well short of projections in a recovery that’s expected to gather force through the summer, with a million or more jobs added each month.
This is supposed to be “the recovery”, but the unemployment rate actually went up last month.
Let us hope for a better number next month, because there are millions upon millions of Americans that still need to get back to work.
This little “bubble of hope” is about as good as things are going to get for the U.S. economy, and it is just a matter of time before the economy heads into more dark days.
We have literally mortgaged our future to give our economy a temporary short-term boost, and after trillions of dollars in spending the economic numbers are still incredibly anemic.
Yet again, this is another major wake up call, but most people out there seem quite content to continue snoozing.
Daily Jot: No news is good news except when you know Good News – Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com
There is an old saying that “no news is good news.” It can be taken several ways. That not hearing anything about a certain circumstance is good, or that, as in today’s headlines, no news can actually be good news. This is the story brought about by our ministry that is truly good news. It begins in the rural underserved community of Dodowa in Ghana, where a young boy not only was hungry for food, but also for the Word of God. Our ministry partner, Pastor William Agbeti, relates how the hunger and thirst of an 11-year-old boy for the gospel blessed an entire community of children in a place where larger churches fear to go and where many will learn to read for the first time by learning the Word of God.
Agbeti reports: “The story begins with only one male child who boldly contacted our ministry and requested a Bible! Besides his need, he also said he wanted another for his brother, too! Interestingly, he said he could not read but still wanted the Bible so he could learn how to read it! What great faith from such an 11-year-old boy! Instead of serving the spiritual needs of only the two children, we decided to find out the need for Bibles among the children in their entire community. It was good we did! We found out that as many as fifty (50) children didn’t have Bibles and have been desirous of having them for quite a while! As Christ once said, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
“It’s always a great joy to see children that we serve with free meals and foodstuffs also yearn for spiritual food! To satisfy this yearning, our ministry freely donated 50 Bibles to these underserved children. A few years from now and in the foreseeable future, when the recipients begin to read a Bible, become pastors or are used of God in many ways, they are going to trace the genesis of it all to the donation they received Sunday! It’s awesome to see how the Bibles ended in the hands of 50 children, who will definitely be used of God to grow His Kingdom and Glorify His name. It began with God touching the hearts of donors in the US, the Lord directing a child in Africa, and then serving 50 rural children with His word. Just imagine the rippling effect this is going to cause in this part of the Kingdom!”
As in Romans 10:13-15, “For whoseoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things?” Pastor Agbeti points to the very lifeline of true ministry—Those far away having a heart for others, giving freely that those in need can be fed, clothed and also receive the gospel of Christ. This is the sowing of prophetic seeds by faith and the harvest will be bountiful as these young people know the good news of the Gospel and begin sharing it.
Daily Devotion: Running on Empty? - by Greg Laurie – www.harvest.org
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. —2 Timothy 3:16
https://harvest.org/resources/devotion/running-on-empty/ - Listen
If the Devil can undermine the family, he can undermine the nation. I could point to almost every societal problem today, from addiction to abortion to incarceration, and in almost every case, I could trace it directly to the breakdown of the family.
We need to understand that our culture isn’t supportive of marriage. In fact, the culture we’re in today is, in many ways, hostile toward it. The family is under attack, and for good reason: the family is the foundation of our country.
That’s why it’s so important for families to draw the line and say, “No matter what this culture does, we’re going to do what God tells us to do.”
Yet sadly, I think many Christian marriages today are running on empty. Couples aren’t taking advantage of all the resources and power God makes available to them for a blessed, happy, successful, and lasting marriage.
Sometimes we think that marriage has a life all its own. We see a couple and think, “Oh, they have a marriage made in Heaven, don’t they? Look at them.”
However, a successful marriage doesn’t happen by accident. Rather, it’s because two people have put a lot of effort into it and are applying biblical principles.
You determine whether your marriage is strong or weak. You determine whether your marriage is successful or failing.
If you want your marriage to stand the test of time, then you need to do what God says. That’s because a strong and happy marriage is a result of obedience to God and His Word.
I believe that every Christian couple can have a blessed marriage. God has told us how to do this. It’s all there in the Bible for us to apply.
If you stop waiting for your emotions and start doing what God tells you to do, you will see a difference in your marriage.

WORTHY OF YOUR SUPPORT?
One of the most reliable ways to determine if a ministry is worthy of your financial support is to examine its fruits. If Prophecy Update is keeping you informed, and if that information inspires you, and causes you to draw closer to the Lord, if Prophecy Update equips you with valuable information and knowledge to share with and encourage other believers, and open the eyes of non-believers, and if Prophecy Update keeps you connected to current events relating to Bible Prophecy, then you are partaking of the fruit produced through this ministry. None of this would be possible without the Lords blessings and your support. I believe where the Lord guides, the Lord provides, and most of the time He provides through the willing and generous hearts of believers just like you and me.

"Share in the Blessings and Rewards that will last Forever!"
"Folks, it's all beginning to unravel. America is in more danger of falling than at any time in its history. But I believe Bible prophecy predicts this very decline. From this point on, we believers have to get serious. We are going to face discouragement, disillusionment and, most certainly, persecution in the time between now and the Rapture. But don't be discouraged or disillusioned. The coming turmoil will provide us unrivaled opportunities to share the good news of the Gospel. So be ready to share your faith and your hope with those who need Christ. We still have time to reap a great harvest of souls for God's kingdom!" - Hal Lindsey

Our Prayer for You- "Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else." 2 Corinthians 9:10-13
